Power + prejudice. Punching up isn't problematic. Not endorsing this but this is the ideology...

I always thought a good retort to "your too short" is to say that back to them. Especially if they are on the taller side. Then get into how you only date girls who are are taller than you or atleast 6ft or something. Im sure there are better retorts but what ever you say if you make it clear that your not insecure than at the very least you win the conversation. Confidence is sexy. You will of course probably need to be able to back up that confidence with something... so be sure to have atleas…

Sure, maybe, possibly, probably. I mean that's certainly one very potentially valid and rational interpretation. ORrrrr, maybeeeee, shes just trying to work up to an angry hate fuck. Fanning the flames of passion by elevating your little tete a tete with a little inflammatory repartee. Loves a game and any game you win too easily isn't any fun. As long as she is talking to you, you have a shot. Some times a no isn't a no, but an alt-yes.

I wonder what kind of psychological stuff is at play with this behavior. Like do they subconsciously think of you as a woman and so when they see you thriving in a friend group they want in on but can't because they are women and therefore kept at arms distance they get bitter and resentful? idk but it doesnt seem rational. Why should they treat you worse than other women who are the same height as you?

Maybe they were trying to flirt but it came out as teasing. This is a really common thing people do when they don't know how to flirt...

You can and should look for both though. You want someone who will not just want to protect your interests but who actually can protect them if it came to it. But your point about shorties fucking tallies up stands. And I think subconsciously, women take that into consideration even more than height... but theres something to be said for a tall persons potential to put on weight and become physically dominating too. I dunno about the vanity angle... I will just say though, that if a girl saw t…

Yeah but alot of physical interactions arent going to escalate that far. Some pushing and flexing will occur and parties will decide if its worth it to get into a tussle. Thats when deterrence comes in and size is a deterrent...

Really you should be looking at a combination of height, muscle mass, general physical prowess, confidence, weapon and martial arts proficiency etc. (Oh and intelligence and accumulation of other skills too!) But a tall person will have the raw material to become more physically imposing if they work on it. So, even just looking at height isn't totally irrational either from an investment perspective...

I think you have it basically. But a person can be progressive about a singular issue or at least not all issues. Some times, if something ain't broke you don't have to fix it. Typically, you wanna change something because it would benefit you to change it. But you'll often need others support. So, progressives of one ilk will support those of another for the political capital. Generally they will betray the other movements as soon as it is politically convenient to do so though. But no, "progre…
