Cool! I'm from Atlantic Canada so it made a fairly interesting read for me too. Video games sound like an awesome way to engage kids in school! If you don't mind me asking, are you using them to supplement a specific course or just to make learning more interesting in general?

I wasn't really sure how sources that aren't sex-specific would help, but I found a few that do separate the data by gender. This paper specifically addresses the higher male dropout rate, mainly in Quebec. This Stats Canada page has data regarding dropout rates for Canadians annually since 1990 showing men have (in Canada) been consistently more likely to drop out than women.
