It's one in the same, because a good place to socialize is one that doesn't stifle potential conversations. You can't expect people to meet new people in a place that's designed for "get in, get out, don't stick around". You can make a genuine greeting that is relevant to the situation That would work if cities had proper third spaces. Instead there's just city streets where everyone is expected to be on their way somewhere, so it's very rare for any possible conversation with a stranger to be "relevant to the situation". Also hard to "make it personalized" when you don't know the person. No wonder so many people have a hard time making new friends. 1	Toxic masculinity or the lack of ? It wouldn't be a lack of toxic masculinity. Maybe a lack of positive masculinity, to some extent. Also the school system has major problems that have nothing to do with teachers being female. Schools are stuck following certain principles invented in the early 1900s to turn kids into factory workers (by suppressing individuality and critical thinking). Modern society lacks communal third spaces. This makes it hard for people to get to know each other. Hard for women to gauge the trustworthiness of a man she just met. -6	Young women are not conflating their RMV with their SMV I get what you're saying, but just a side note: Fat women actually have higher SMV & RMV due to being more fertile, more capable of bearing children. Sex with a fat woman is more of a workout for the man (especially if she's on top). Fit men will intentionally seek this out to spice up their usual fitness routines.
