It’s so much as the money but as the confidence+security that having some cash brings. 10	Advice for guys: don't take the friend zone as a forever situation and don't disrespect the girl friendzoning you. You’re spot on but you might underplaying the fact that he was waiting on you. It’s very ok to be placed in the friend zone and it’s also very ok to move on, as friends like you described. However, what actually attracted him to you was probably his attitude towards the situation, if you weren’t attracted to something obvious like his looks.
