I've applied to STEM program at my university the last 3 years and have been denied on each occassion. They give you this application check-list in which your grades in prereqs, work history in health services and a variety of other variables are translated to "points". The first year applying I had 46 points when the suggested # was around 44. The second year I had 51. After the second denial I had nothing left take. I'm not saying it wasn't excessive but the entire reason the PP exists is because of reactions like yours. Unless you're saying that no adult should be on the receiving end of such a blow, regardless of whether you assaulted first, you are changing the rules due to her gender. The thing for me is I want to disagree with him more than I do. I consider myself to be a pretty neurotic fact-checker and a general skeptic. His personality makes me want to root against him a lot but his words are often less opinion and rooted in data I can't dispute. Care to enlighten me as to your feelings on him? Genuinely curious

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
