Maybe she means she didn't want it to have happened afterwards. Sounds literally like that.

Sorry, can somebody say what the movie is about?

Pretty much, because it was funny and not unbelievable (i.e. it could just be a scenario but that doesn't change its truthiness).

I'm not making social commentary or whatever, but also having a father as a guide to, erm, curb this so you grow "up" and not "out" and make a harmonious person to live with.

To expound, because "there is something good in them" (most people believe in the majority-goodness of their mother, right), and people who have nothing to fear/lose anymore (like mothers with grown-up children) use that.

If you're talking about the same guy (slightly older), yeah that was in his face and that was the point of the video.

calculus, anatomy and chemistry for yourself And then all the ridiculous volumes of area-specific knowledge you have to read and memorize for medical school.

Yeah, but you would likely "man it up" and not pretend it was about something else.

I'm pretty sure the only reason she did that was so she wouldn't get nothing by both choosing "keep". See this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S0qjK3TWZE8

Actually, the way they "like" or want to be is often the way they are taught or see on advertisements, etc., and guess what purpose those are for? For male entertainment and viewing pleasure.

In the Alan Dershowitz thread, it was pointed out that filing of false criminal charges is itself a crime. How does that reconcile with these cases? (Where actual charges were made--were they in the NFL case?)

Not even that, I think she could not believe what was happening to her. "This isn't what's supposed to happen!"

"...And you can't deny it." "What is this, third grade? You mean to tell me you are 'professional' news casters?"

Now, which one of these is less professionally dressed, behaves less professionally, and has applied numerous shiny factors to their appearance? That's right, the sleazy, disrespectful bigot with the chrome dentures.

Exactly, but something still should have been done. (But if we're going to say that, then we need to say the same for the hundreds or thousands of "reality" shows that exploit all kinds of abuse.)

That definition of harassment is so frivolous that the courts should be flooded with cases.

I hope that's a "feminist" joke, because point (1) is an error in logic and in definition, and point (2) is a gross misinterpretation, even a twisting---Okay, the longer I think about it, the more I am sure of it. Have an upvote!

Yes, but note I never said he should "hit her back"; that's not excusable (even if hard not to do).

I was attacked and when I told the officer that I "pushed" my attacker to get away, I was arrested for assault. Oh, come on! What was the attack?

Of course, he's big enough to break someone like a twig, so the restraining has to be done very carefully. I still think there is a way to do it, with verbal and physical action combined. Which laws in particular do you wish to cite? Do they vary from state to state?

The blame also lies with the show's producers and the recording crew, which was probably under orders from the producers to not interfere at all. Some television executives know what kind of shows will sell (to some audiences) and will simply exploit whatever they can.
