Friday Night Lights' Eric and Tami Taylor (they're actually kinda famous for their healthy relationship)

Yes, I didn't consider him a dating option because he was around 5'3 or 5'4 in height and very overweight. However, I was always intrigued by him because he was quiet and still gave off a masculine vibe. It changed to I would totally date him!, when I saw a video clip of him showing his amazing sense of humor and charisma. I was further impressed when I saw him at my gym. Also keep in mind that he still has a face I consider attractive and very much my type.

Yes, it’s still hot. That dancer in the video reads to me as “probably gay” but I still admire him and find him attractive for all the agility, body-confidence, and coordination qualities others have mentioned. Am I going to splooge/crush on/obsess over him the way I did on Channing Tatum after seeing him in the Magic Mike movies — no. But hot is hot.

Hmm, yeah I guess you're right about that.

It's nothing personal, since the guy in my question is hypothetical. No actual former or current love interest in my life is divorced with kids. I probably will be dating divorced guys with kids when I'm ready to date, and I was wondering to what degree their SMV would be affected by having kids with an ex-wife.

I'm not divorced, or even married. Just want to hear objective answers.

No I'm just a curious female lurker. But yes, the males I'm referring to would be above average without kids.

Well, I'm an Alpha Widow and my ex Alpha did things like wish me Good morning every day, opened doors, held hands in public, paid for dates, listened to things I had to say, called me regularly, was VERY physically affectionate, fully focused on me during our dates, was very giving in bed, good with animals, etc. Basically, he acted like he was a committed boyfriend, even though he wasn't. I legitimately thought I could see a future with him. It's not the "wasn't" part that made him an Alpha tho…

Hot guys (like Channing Tatum who's been married for over a decade) might commit but are they likely to stay faithful through the long haul? Seems like unicorn territory.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
