The Titanic was a historical anomaly. In the vast majority of cases, men were more likely to survive shipwrecks. The only reason that the Titanic was any different was because the captain literally forced the men at gunpoint to let the women and children take the lifeboats. When it’s a life or death situation, most people are selfish. Chivalry is largely a myth.

Money has only existed for a few thousand years, there’s no way any of us have evolved to “naturally” provide it

That voice is irrational, and is not truth. You are not that voice, and you can fight back! Whenever the voice says something bad, notice that it’s happening and talk back to it. Just tell it to shut up. Tell it to leave you alone. Tell it that it’s an asshole and you’re just trying to chill. If you do that consistently, the voice will slowly lose power over you. I used to have a ton of negative self-talk, but I learned to talk back, and now I hardly ever have that negative voice. Life is soooo …

Women who suffer from internalized misogyny are conditioned to make themselves attractive to misogynistic men. Misogynistic men HATE when women are better than them at anything that’s not traditionally feminine. For them, there’s nothing worse than being beaten by a girl, after all. The women in #1 make themselves weak/passive/lesser in order to be picked by the men in #2. Because these women are dependent on their men, they see any diminished ability to provide/perform as a threat to their own …

Actually, women have different-sized vaginas the same way men have different-sized penises. It’s mostly genetic and has nothing to do with promiscuity

If you actually read the the articles posted in the forum the conclusion they reach is often the opposite of what you’re claiming here. From the article linked in the post titled “twin studies,” posted on June 19, 2022: “The responses of our twins relative to their rearing, along with our findings regarding some of their experiences during childhood and adolescence show their identity was much more influenced by their genetics than their rearing.” From the article linked in the post titled “Inte…

People are all just people, dude. Men and women have far more in common than you’d think. Everybody is flawed, everybody is scared, everybody is damaged. Just try to be who you feel comfortable being, and stop hating people based on things they can’t control (like their gender).

You know you’re on r/exredpill, right? That’s a huge part of redpill ideology so it’s a pretty safe assumption to make. Also the commenter is responding to the post and addressing OP as “you.” Do you want them to start with a disclaimer that this doesn’t apply to everybody? Seems kind of excessive bro

I’m almost 40 and my boyfriend of 4 years is 10 years younger than me. I’m happier and more confident now than I’ve ever been. It’s not over until you say it’s over!

I think your interpretation is wrong. Rather than viewing women as superior, RP men view women as collectable objects and/or status symbols. Saying that you want a “Stacy” is like saying that you want a BMW or a Lamborghini. Then, instead of trying to make enough to afford one, or accepting that you’re gonna be driving a Corolla or even riding the bus, y’all go online to bitch about how bad you want a Lambo but nobody is willing to give you one for $1000. It’s pathetic, really. All that is irrel…

If you have legitimate, peer-reviewed studies showing that the “programming” you mention is actually biological and not learned from society—i.e. that it’s the result of nature instead of nurture—I’d love to see them. If you’re just going to respond with unsourced youtube videos, blogs, or pop psychology books, don’t waste your time
/r/ExRedPill05/07/22 07:28 PM

Do you have any actual evidence that this is a “biological trigger that can’t be helped”? Or are you just reverting to sexist bioessentialism?

I mean, if all the women you interact with are bots on the internet or sex workers it might seem like it happens a lot. But irl I’ve never known anybody who’s been in that kind of situation. Most people, both women and men, have sex because they enjoy it. People aren’t vending machines. Y’all need to stop being so small-minded.

A lot of guys have that too? This seems like a you thing, not a men-vs.-women thing. I saw your pics, and you’re totes a good looking dude. If women aren’t attracted to you, it has nothing to do with your looks. Seriously, if you get to the point where you like yourself, ladies will be flocking to you. If anything, this red pill crap is actually reducing your chances. But that’s not the point. Go out and experience life, bro; sex is just one of the billions of incredible things to see and experi…

True, but hooking up has a lot of risks for women that men don’t face to the same extent. Even without those risks, there’s a high probability that a hookup with a man won’t be sexually satisfying for the woman. It’s kind of like having a 50% off coupon for something you don’t want. Not particularly useful. You might use the coupon and get the thing anyway, just because you can, but it ends up being more trouble than it’s worth because now you have extra crap taking up shelf space that you have …

Life and relationships are far more complex, varied, and wonderful than the bullshit system that you’ve described. Relationships aren’t solely transactional; sometimes people just like each other, even love each other. Unfortunately, having this kind of relationship requires loving yourself, but red-pillers seem intent on bitterly blaming women and/or society for their inability to relate to other people rather than working on themselves. Really, I feel bad for y’all, because you continue with t…

I think you have a really good point. There’s a reason why the most misogynistic cultures on earth enforce the separation of men and women and hide women from public view… otherwise men might learn that women are gasp just normal people! You seem like a cool dude and your english is great! Glad you managed to avoid trp and its hateful ideology.

There are a lot of hood suggestions here! One thing that might be helpful might be to cultivate friendships with women. If you have female friends it could humanize women in general; when you have no ulterior motives, you’ll see that they’re just people. You can’t just walk up to a woman on the street and ask to be her friend, of course, but if there are women at school or work who have similar interests, you can talk to her about them. Let the friendship proceed organically, just like it would …

Except that women tend to be weaker than men, while white people are not weaker than black people. Also, I know you guys hate this fact, but men commit the vast majority of violent crimes. The number of crimes committed by black people is the same as the number of crimes committed by white people who are at the same socioeconomic level. So fear of black people is unwarranted, while fear of men is just a practical safety precaution. (This applies to both men and women—men can be mugged, too.) If …

I’m not fat or ugly, I’m definitely a woman, and I live with my boyfriend. But you should really check your attitudes about women. They are just as varied as men. We don’t all care about astrology or traditions. It sounds like your experiences with women have been really limited—I think you’ll find that if you get out more and interact with a wide variety of women, there are many of them who will share your interests and ways of thinking. It’s unfair to judge half of the world’s population based…

You know that animals have culture, too? In this study, a baboon troop had all the adult males wiped out by tuberculosis. When females ran things, there was much less fighting, much less stress, and significantly more grooming behavior. Several years later, the researchers returned, and in spite of the fact that none of the original troop were still alive and the gender balance had returned, the same behavioral changes—less fighting, more grooming—persisted. There were physiological changes as w…

Though I can’t read the study you posted due to the paywall, I don’t think it supports your point. “Women were more likely to rate male targets as more desirable when presented alongside a female while no obvious effects were detected with male choice. These sex differences disappeared in studies that ‘augment’ cues, as both sexes rated targets as more attractive when in the presence of more desirable others. We also detected high levels of heterogeneity in effect sizes and a moderate publicatio…

You should read up on benevolent sexism. It’s not a good thing, and generally changes into hostile sexism as soon as women stop acting typically feminine.

I’m not talking about men, I’m talking about patriarchal culture. Women perpetuate it as well. You seem to really want to feel attacked, but I’m talking about a larger cultural phenomenon, not the actions of specific group of people. Do you have control over what arouses you sexually? Could you just suddenly stop finding breasts attractive, or start being attracted to morbidly obese people? I doubt it. Sexual orientation is largely inborn, but the more specific aspects—e.g. what body type you’re…

As a sexually liberated woman who often has rape fantasies, I want to point out that there’s a huuuuuge difference between actual rape and rape fantasies (at least for me). My fantasies involve the man (or men) 1. wanting to get me off, and 2. not hurting me. Real rape doesn’t work that way. My theory is that, just like many men, women want to be the focus of sex. However, most of the conventional ways to do obtain this kind of attention requires us to perform for the male gaze, to focus on plea…

This is why I don’t watch porn very often. I put myself in the woman’s shoes and most of the time it looks unpleasant at best (and at worst it looks scary, painful, and traumatic—the opposite of a turnon)
