I'm having trouble determining whether or not you are being sarcastic. I, for one, am not attracted to people who are not nice. Pretty much all of my friends who are in happy relationships (read; not about to break up because their partners are assholes) are with nice people. This applies equally to men and women.

You didn't have an argument. Your argument consisted of repeating what I'd just corrected.

Did you even read my post. I was explaining to you why If you're nice to her and THUS she's not interested, she tries to let you down nicely as "let's be friends". is not the case. Men and Women have a different definition of 'nice' Heads up. Women's definition of nice includes backing off when we say no.

You know, we don't really complain about the guy who hangs around a few minutes too long. We don't call him an asshole. At worst, we'll roll our eyes and call him clueless. The problem is the guys ask for our phone number, and don't back off when we say no. The problem is not the guys who reach down and grab our butt while we're dancing, the problem is the guys who take us slapping their hands away as an invitation to grab our breasts instead. That stuff is never taken positively, you gain nothin…

I hope you have a daughter one day to give you some perspective. Gee, I don't. I don't think he'd make a very good parent.

Please notice that in her essay, she did not complain about men who flirted with her, except for the fact that many of them did not move on when she turned them down. There's nothing wrong with approaching women at the bar. There is something wrong with sticking around after they've told you to go away.

Yeah, but guys you're never going to get anywhere if you try to come across as 'harmless'. By now you've heard of "Let's just be friends" ? That's a confirmation bias. If you're not nice to her and she's not interested, she acts coldly to you and you think "what a bitch". If you're nice to her and she's not interested, she tries to let you down nicely as "let's be friends". In the latter situation you end up collecting more female friends, but it's not because women are less interested in you.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
