Men don't get paid more for the same job They do, but not by much. It's just that nearly every study out there compares apples with oranges. I've seen a study about 18 months ago that was more accurate. Compare both sexes with the same employment history [same training, same jobs, etc.], men get about 10% more in pay, but those 10% exist, because both negotiate differently. Those numbers are just for Germany, but I do believe, it's like that everywhere else.

I see at least two different problems here. Why should being held for child support mean getting parental rights? Biological parent should pay, rest is up to the child, whom he/she wants to have as a parental figure in such cases. It shouldn't be something like "this person pays child support, so this person has the parental rights" in the first place.

Please, the lie with "1 in X are getting raped at the colleges" is obvious. If you look at the actual report that is being quoted on the linked page there, 1 in 6 is pretty accurate for a lifetime. 18 percent of women surveyed said they experienced a completed or attempted rape at some time in their life and 0.3 percent said they experienced a completed or attempted rape in the previous 12 months. First 14 months are being paid by the state (65% of the former income up to a maximum of 1800€). After that it's unpaid leave, but the one taking leave is still protected against dismissal until those three years are over. It's more a law thing to show the sanctity of marriage and to support those, that have married in changing your tax rate.
