Really? I don't think it was necessary to remove. I was simply stating the impression I got from it. I stand by my words. Some of those guys say much worse things about women than "whiny and bitter." I'm all for being supportive, but some guys (or better PEOPLE) are that way, there is nothing wrong with calling them out on it.

Your username made me almost spit out my tea by accident! Too funny :)

Thanks! Yeah like I said I was a little put off by it in the beginning, because the extreme RP men seem really vocal and well...extreme. I also feel that long hair is generally more feminine, but it doesn't work for everyone. Personally I think it looks better to have shorter hair that looks healthy and stylish than long, damaged or thin hair. If having a shorter hair style makes you FEEL prettier, than you will act prettier, if that makes sense. But yeah, I am not looking for approval from men …

Yeah I do this too. I asked for his opinion before I pierced my nose and got my tattoo, he likes both :) I am working on designing a tattoo for him too. (I am an illustrator-I would never actually DO a tattoo for someone-I'm too afraid of making a mistake on someone's skin! I'd feel SOO bad! I just draw it up and pay a professional to do my design)

I don't really like to label people as "beta" or "alpha" because I think it is more of a spectrum. I'd say my husband is a mix of both and I wouldn't have it any other way. But yeah we have been together since 2007, married since 2011. He is a personal trainer/yoga instructor and I have been working out with him for years. Not trying to brag but he knows that I am in great shape. He says he GENERALLY prefers longish hair, but also likes shorter styles if they are edgy. (As an illustrator/graphic…

Totally! Thanks for the input. I'm still on the fence about it because I know it takes a relatively long time to grow back. I do know that when I had short hair in the past, it motivated me to doll myself up more, and I felt that I looked really cute. I think I am just a little paranoid about it because I have read some rant written a man about how girls who cut their hair are "messed up and deranged." He even went as far as to say that when women compliment another women's short hair cut are ju…

I love a cute sundress. They are comfortable and feminine, and if the style is appropriate I will just throw on a long sweater, leggings and cute boots when it gets cooler. Sometimes I will wear skinny jeans and a nice blouse, but I do the dress/skirt leggings if it's cold thing more. I actually NEVER wear heels. I am relieved that my husband doesn't like them. In his opinion girls rarely look comfortable in them, and knowing this ruins the appeal in his mind. I am not saying everyone else shoul…

I don't know, I do agree with what you said about some girls being too coy and flirty, but technically I approached the man who would be my husband first, and if I hadn't done that, well...he wouldn't be my husband! ;) But I like what you said about being interesting and genuinely nice.

Maybe I am not the typical woman but it depends. My husband is a little taller than me. But he carries himself extremely well. He is fit, dresses stylishly, smells nice, and has a VERY handsome face. To me he is way more attractive than taller men who are...well...less handsome. For me if a guy has other great qualities, than not being tall isn't an issue. And I feel like I can sense it when a guy is insecure about his height. I know it is easier said than done but try not to be. My advice is if…

I think I am similarly proportioned to you, just a little shorter (5'5") Do you have a long torso as well? I feel like it makes my figure a little more exaggerated but not in a bad way (husband loves it). I was heavier and had acne when I was young, I am actually smaller than when I was in high school (29 now) I did go through a phase when I was REALLY skinny when I was like 20-21, and I had the same hip bone thing going on. I got rid of photos and clothes from that time so I would never think o…
