1	The New York Times thinks that all boys want to (and I quote) ‘murder their fathers and sleep with their mothers.’ You are welcome. I actually just switched from being a psych major (still pursuing it as a minor), but I advocate and try to show people how psych actually is a science as there is a common misconception that it is a pseudoscience which is all based off of what psych was in its very early days. Now everything that is taught has been proven through research and the scientific method. Hard sciences are classic sciences that produce physical representations like bio, physics, and chem. Soft sciences are like psychology where it is tangible. They have repeated the experiments as closely as possible and still gotten the same results. Which A)replicates and B) just adds more validity by expanding the experimental group. I wouldn't call it narcissistic just a misinterpretation of psychology. Same with your point. Psychology is a science. It uses theories proven by science to psychoanalyze. Which both you and the article did not do. Both just called it psychology and it isn't.
