Sexual harassment? We used to call that 'welcome attention' from men, says Fay WeldonA welcome sentiment. Male sexuality is is vastly more good than it is bad. We need to own it and celebrate it. | /r/MensRights | 30/03/17 10:43 AM
A Brief Lesson in the Differences Between Men's GroupsA really great approachable video that also really accurately hit the mark. I'll be keeping it in mind to share with other people. | /r/MensRights | 30/03/17 10:29 AM
Why would you identify with a group whose main form of defense is silencing criticism?Isn't this sub an example of that? I reckon there are many people on this sub who would love there to more dissenting opinions from feminists here. A bit of friction can keep things lively, and help us sharpen our understanding of the issues we hold dear, and and the arguments that best move our agenda forward. | /r/MensRights | 30/03/17 10:07 AM
MGTOW is a release from bondageI like this strategy. It's reasonably achievable for most men. | /r/MGTOW | 29/03/17 11:27 AM
"A speech urging women to “reign in their insane sisters” concluded a day-long conference showcasing conservative speakers at the University of Calgary on March 25. " : "The Gauntlet / Jordan Peterson speaks at U of C for Generation Screwed Action Forum"You're right I do have hope. Let me reorganize my thoughts in that light. I think it's great to ask women to step up. I think its much more important to ask ourselves as men to change. TRP & MGTOW are very clear about how they think men should change. There seems to be a lot less clarity about what men should do from mensrights. If we can address that issue I guess we would see a lot less cynics here. | /r/MensRights | 29/03/17 10:28 AM
How open is the Overton window regarding men's issues? If you are going into a hostile environment you may find it easier to frame the issues as affecting young boys rather than men. If I remember correctly this method has been suggested by Warren Farrell as a more effective way of getting through to women in particular. | /r/MensRights | 29/03/17 09:48 AM
"A speech urging women to “reign in their insane sisters” concluded a day-long conference showcasing conservative speakers at the University of Calgary on March 25. " : "The Gauntlet / Jordan Peterson speaks at U of C for Generation Screwed Action Forum"I doubt that this kind of call to action will have any effect. Women seem to be able to wield identity politics as a weapon much more effectively than men. People don't willingly give up power. If we recognize chivalry (men's out-group preference for women) as an obstacle, then we should equally recognize that that women's in group preference is probably an even more effective barrier to changing the direction of this ship than men's chivalry. I hope someone can convince me I am being too cynica… | /r/MensRights | 28/03/17 09:55 AM
This is what we're up against.I've been watching a lot of Jordan Peterson lectures recently. One of the things he has mentioned is that Post Modernists don't believe in dialogue. I guess this is a good example of that. | /r/MensRights | 26/03/17 07:26 AM
Is it true that most MGTOW are Incel?I doubt it. Incels still have women on the pedestal, they are so hungry for a taste that they define themselves by this deprivation. To be a MGTOW I think you have to have at least some intimate and sexual familiarity with women. To have had a taste and decided it didn't taste good, took too much effort or was not healthy for you. It seems like there would be little meaning in rejecting something you don't believe you could obtain anyway. | /r/MGTOW | 26/03/17 03:44 AM
Men should do everything, apparentlyIt seems like a reasonable list of expectations for a partner. The problem is these desires are not being fulfilled by women's fuck buddies and one night stands. Women need to look in the mirror, change themselves before they ask men to change. | /r/MensRights | 26/03/17 03:16 AM
