The video wasn’t about her wanting their seats though, it was about a disabled man needing their seats

Women who need men are not high value women. Similarly, a high value man isn’t interested in being with a woman who needs him. That is what a lot of men say, that you want a woman who needs you. But a lot of the time, once you lock down the girl who needs you, y’all’s eyes will be wandering. To where? Towards the emotionally independent women, the women who don’t need you, who are fine without you, so that you have to actually work hard and chase them to impress them and make them stay with you.…

Take a break, then. If it’s costing you so much more than you’re getting out of it right now, it’s no good. Pushing through the exhaustion is just going to make it worse in the end. The energy that you’re spending on women every night, pour it back into you. Do stuff for yourself, see your friends and family, think about your future, work out, make money, practice your hobbies. Enjoy what life is outside of women, basically. Sometimes you get laid more, sometimes less. If 3-4 months is the longe…

You… just made one hell of an assumption, lmao. You have no idea what they were attracted to when they were younger. You missed out.. on what, exactly? Being able to treat women like shit just like all the assholes did?

I think most women do, actually. Some are just emotionally unavailable themselves due to trust issues, or they are hiding their attachment to protect their ego and because they don’t want to look ‘crazy’. But women naturally experience a release of oxytocin, the bonding hormone, after sex. It’s a pretty hard-wired process, one that goes all the way back to hunter-gatherer times and played an important role in women’s survival, so modern contraceptives aren’t really gonna have much effect.

Well then look for that minority? It certainly isn’t gonna be easier with neurotypical women. Autistic women, like most autistic people, feel horribly misunderstood and tired from masking their autism. They also feel insecure socially. Being with a partner that is autistic too is of an indescribable relief. Suddenly you don’t have to lay out every single part of your brain to make the other person understand how you tick. But the thing is, a lot of autistic women are better adjusted socially tha…

Exactly.. the idea of having sex with them. Which is something different entirely than hating someone as a person. Women don’t hate shy or awkward men for the people they are but that doesn’t mean they want to have sex with them.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/23 11:13 AM

That’s a whole other discussion ffs. It’s obvious that they’re talking about the risks that come with SEX specifically. I think we can all agree that sex is inherently more risky for women than it is for men, if only because of the risk of pregnancy. Right? That’s not having a victim mentality, that is stating the obvious.

Bro mentally stable, neurotypical people aren’t wasting their time on dumbass subreddits like these, they’re out there connecting with each other using their social skills that are like second nature to them, making friends, hooking up. Truth is most of us are a bunch of losers on here. Trying to understand how to be a normal human, why other people seem to have the things just come to them naturally. And I’m glad someone said it.

‘When the female homo sapiens is faced with an attractive male, she simply cannot help but open her pussy doors for him’ bro you’re talking about women like they’re some species of animal in a nature documentary. Women are not a hivemind, your rule is not a general one. It depends on the individual woman’s past and values. Some women are more promiscuous than others, for them the rule applies, sure. But there’s plenty of women who strictly only want to have sex within a committed relationship. I…

Lol. You’ll be missing out on a lot of wonderful potential partners with that rule, but sure. Women are humans. Humans are capable of rational thinking and self-control. They do not helplessly give into their instincts. That’s literally what distincts humans from other animals. Especially women, who have lower testosterone levels… Women do not get overtaken by their horniness the way men do. They are much better at self-control in that aspect and that’s why it’s also more expected of them. But t…

Being rich in itself doesn’t make you a high value man. It’s more about personality traits such as persistence, physical and mental strength, ambition, confidence, etc. A poor man that shows ambition and fairness and who works hard is way more of a high value man than a spoiled, entitled piece of shit who was born into richness because of his parents’ company.

Looks matter for sure, but it’s not the end all, no. Not raw physical appearance at least. But it is all about image. For men a big part of it is social skills and social standing, so a lot of women will go not necessarily for the guys that look best objectively but the most popular or powerful ones. Which is, well, not many men. And often these guys are relatively physically attractive already. Higher standards for physical attractiveness are more evident in women, when it comes to picking sexu…

Okay so I should have specified that I wasn’t talking about marriage. And that I was talking about the west. My bad. Still, a man in the west (which I assume is where most of us on this subreddit are from) is free to not commit to one girl, if that’s what he wants. Men can have multiple fuck buddies if they want, as long as they are able to attract the women in the first place. The problem is that only the top percentage of men is able to do so. Most men can’t. This is not men’s fault and it is …

You’re right, but technically, men today are free to do that. There has never been more sexual liberty than in today’s society, since hunter gatherer times. It’s just that many men don’t get the chance to sleep with and date a lot of women. Because women don’t find most men attractive. Their selectivity is the natural result of the fact that sex for them comes with the risk of pregnancy. And yes, this does mean there is hypergamy. This fucking sucks and I empathize with men on this matter, but i…

I know this sounds harsh and it isn’t fair that it works this way but isn’t that biology’s fault in the end? Women aren’t attracted to most men the way men are attracted to most women. I think it has always been that way but it’s only now that women aren’t dependent on partnership/marriage to live, that this truth is coming forward more.

Except she will understand it better at 25 than at 18, because she will know herself and life better and her world view will have changed entirely. 18 is fresh out of high school man… they are endlessly more stupid than 25 year olds on average. Ask any stable and emotionally mature 50 year old and they will say they could never imagine dating an 18 year old because they feel like a kid to them. Again, simply being attracted or even just hooking up is not the problem. But actively choosing to dat…

It’s definitely morally bad if the woman is so young that her brain hasn’t matured yet. 18-25ish. At least for long term relationships it is. I guess a hook up is fine. The differences is brain development and life experience create a power imbalance that cannot be overlooked.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/23 09:07 AM
5

That’s weird as shit too, but tbh a 25 year old is different than a 18 or 19 year old, the brain development that happens between those ages is insane. It’s the old men being with literal teenagers that is the main problem. In their mid-twenties women are already way more mature.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/23 09:02 AM
6

No. It’s because of the phenomenon of people (online) using ‘female’ to describe women and specifically people using ‘female’ for women but just ‘men’ for men in the very same sentence. I suppose the original commenter is trying to be petty by turning that around. Tbh I don’t care much, in the end it’s just semantics, but it’s true that ‘females’ for women is much more widespread than ‘males’ for men so that disparity is admittedly a bit weird.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/23 05:53 PM

Well… of course. Women who like long hair are already kind of an outlier. You cannot be a femboy with long hair and expect to be attractive to the masses. Having a niche look is not a bad thing, you just need to find the people who are into it.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/09/23 09:46 AM

This. It’s sexual dimorphism.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/09/23 08:16 AM

The thing is, short men can be attractive despite their shortness, so it’s hard to give a universal, clear cut answer. It matters to a significant degree: shortness in itself is not attractive. This can be overridden, by finding ways to compensate for it and by finding shorter women (who are often more willing to date an objectively short man as long as he’s the same height/taller than her). But it’s not easy, for sure.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/09/23 08:13 AM
1

But it does. It changes the shape of the body as in… the body gets taller. ‘How high off the ground you stopped growing’ is wild gymnastics. Creative, I’ll admit, but completely meaningless.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/09/23 08:06 AM

Thanks for just saying it out loud 💀 So many of us here are actually just fucking autistic and it’s a big reason why we struggle. Not only because of society and dating culture. Dating culture sucks, don’t get me wrong here, but enough ugly people with great social skills get laid left and right. Check yourselves guys.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/09/23 03:06 PM

You are absolutely right. That is where we as a society are failing and should work to become better. Men’s loneliness is a big problem. But the solution is to have more empathy for these men and take them seriously. In the worst case scenario, if they really consistently fail to connect with people, then we need to help them gain perspective on the fact that there is more in life, and help them redirect their lives to other things. The solution is not to blame women.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/09/23 03:26 AM
9

Acceptance that life isn’t fair. It’s no one’s fault that this is the reality for men, this is just how it is. Women aren’t doing this on purpose with some malicious intent to make all these men lonely. They are just living their life with what they have been given, which is; the privilege that they are the more desirable sex that doesn’t have to work as hard for attention. Doesn’t mean that men aren’t allowed to be sad about this reality but at the end of the day it’s still not women’s fault.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/23 07:04 PM
2

That’s an assumption… It depends very much on who the person is. A 21 year old can have been through much more shit and be way more mentally ill/hard to deal with than a 30 year old. There’s also the fact that the brain isn’t fully developed until 25, so at 21 a lot of women are still immature in many ways. If you’re a younger guy yourself this won’t necessarily be a problem, but especially for older men, I don’t understand how it would be more peaceful with a 21 year old than a 30 year old.

Mmmm lot of the times they’re autistic too, making it harder for them to bond with other women, especially in groups, cause the social expectations are much more subtle and intricate than they are with men. So a lot of the times they are not like the other women. Tbh if having to choose between mostly male friends, or no friends, I’d choose the first too. Loneliness kills. Maybe they’ll get a boyfriend out of it, which would be a major win for them.

Social skills are much more important to teach as a parent imo. Of course on top of building healthy habits that include eating varied and healthy foods and staying physically active. But ‘fitness’ in itself shouldn’t have the priority, because it will always be easier to lose weight when you’re fat than it is to build social skills after growing up isolated and deprived of it.

If you think this is what ‘most women’ want then you haven’t talked to enough women lmao. Women make up 50% of the population, and just like men, they are all individual people with individual preferences. Some might be into this type of men. Others prefer shy men, men who read, men who make art, or the musician type, etc. I really don’t understand how that’s such a hard concept to grasp.

The first one is not a good example imo since escorting is something else than having casual sex that you actually ‘want’ to have. I don’t think there’s a way to work in prostitution and not come out damaged and with bad feelings around sex. Casual sex because you enjoy it will not nearly have the same effects. And only a very very small percentage of women do prostitution so again, not a good example.

I’m not saying men can’t be attracted to younger women, you can’t really help who you are attracted to anyways. You go on a rollercoaster ride of depression, anxiety, anger, shame, jealousy, guilt, grief all in one week every month. And you can’t even feel sorry for yourself because you know it’s ‘just’ your period. Also it’s really inconvenient to just… leak blood. It gets everywhere, even if you use products to prevent that.

We are equal, but not in the way you are trying to argue we are. Women are just as superficial as men, sure. But it doesn’t present in the same way. For women, it’s more about status than it is about raw physical attractiveness. Being attractive as a guy will only get you so far if you don’t have the charisma to go with it. You can be as hot as you want as a man but if you are a social disaster, then the initial attraction that women may have had towards you will die. Men on the other hand, are …

I agree that autistic men’s struggles shouldn’t be put down, and anyone who claims autistic men are being ‘coddled’ is blinded with resentment or jealousy or something, because in general, no one is coddling autistic people other than weirdly obsessed autism moms. It’s true that it’s not a good idea to get horribly drunk when going out but that doesn’t mean it’s your fault if you get raped. The difference between rape and your car crash situation is that with rape, there is another conscious being involved, one capable of moral judgment. I wouldn’t argue autistic women don’t have to go through self-improvement, rather, I’d say they are forced into that early on to the point where they are already infinitely more socially adjusted by the time autistic men have to make the effort to stay in the loop socially. Which is why it looks like they have to do less. Because girls use more much more indirect communication than guys do, this expectation is laid upon autistic girls all throughout their life. They mask hardcore from the moment…

Well it’s been said that high functioning autistic women communicate on a similar level as do neurotypical guys. There’s not as much hidden intentions, reading between the lines, etc as there is among girls. Which why you often see these women having an easier time getting along with men (and other neurodivergent women). I suppose that’s why relationships between NT men and autistic women can work out. Of course it matters. It matters to a certain extent. You don’t need women to tell you that it does to know that now, do you? Would you date someone you’re not attracted to? Most important thing is not being physically repulsive. There needs to be a baseline level of attraction, but you don’t need the genetic lottery for that. How does feminism connect to this? Could you elaborate? I think more so, it reflects a general difference between how society looks at men and women. Being a committed mother and partner is something different entirely than ‘existing to please your husband’. A mother can and should take care of her children and a wife can do things to appreciate her partner but she doesn’t exist solely to please him. No one exists to please other people. Okay, that’s from the woman’s perspective. You are implying that ‘coachability’ in a woman is attractive to men, though. I guess I’m just having a hard time imagining that? Like I can see the feeling of being strong and able to protect your girl would be nice, but to be a ‘mentor’ to her? Sounds like it would become exhausting. Also, would that mean that men who, according to you, find coachable women attractive, want to feel better than their partner?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/22 05:04 PM

I feel like you can’t separate the attractiveness from the fertility. I think men have been wired to find youthful qualities attractive only because it indicates fertility. For a while, young-looking older women might be as desirable to men as younger women, but since those older women aren’t fertile anymore, slowly but surely men would adapt to still choose younger, fertile women, because otherwise we’d die out, lol. Humans will always want children, we’re wired to procreate.

You have a point about the generalization but I think it’s important to make the distinction between race/skin-color and sex. Skin color has no bearing on an individual’s brain wiring, sex does. Though generalizations like ‘all men are rapists’ are obviously just as unreasonable as ‘all black people are …’, discriminating on skin color makes less sense than discriminating on sex because differences in skin color is something which only shows in appearance while differences in sex are more compli…

Our brains still work much the same way as, say, 10.000 years ago. Back then, there were no hospitals and there was no child support. Women had to make sure they picked the right man to have sex with so that their offspring would be healthy and strong, and pregnancy and all it’s risks would be worth it. That’s very much still the reason why women are more picky, because evolution hasn’t yet caught up with more recent developments such as child support.

That’s a horrible comparison. Let’s assume that in general, lower n-count is preferable in women and an n-count > 0 is preferable in men. A woman not telling a man about her high n-count is the same as a man holding back about, say, being a virgin. It’s about a quality of yourself that you are not disclosing as to appear more attractive to someone. What you are holding back is your intentions. Look, here’s the thing, the standard is monogamy, so if you do romantic things for someone, man or woma…

Feminism does not represent all women’s wants and needs. Also, what feminism preaches is not always equal to what the majority of women, including feminists, actually want. If a man could experience life as a woman, there’s no doubt he’d be amazed at all the casual sex he could get and he’d thoroughly enjoy it at first. However, it tires quickly and becomes unfulfilling if you have access to something 24/7, especially when only a small part of the sexual encounters you have are actually worth it…

From what I see she never claimed otherwise. She said one of the leading causes of death for pregnant women is homicide. Often by spouses or exes. It’s not meant to say women in general suffer more from homicide, it’s just to showcase another risk of pregnancy; something which is exclusive to women’s experience.

Would there be many men who actually want to get into those female dominated fields, though? I see the specific appeal for women, and people in general, about STEM. Many jobs are higher paying and STEM jobs in general are looked upon with respect. Female dominated fields don’t have that same kind of reputation. It’s not like they can force men to get into fields like kindergarten childcare, teaching, secretarial work, etc., if men just don’t want to.

It’s true that a diagnosis isn’t gonna change much except for getting a better understanding of why your experience of the world seems to be so different from other people’s experience. For autistic women especially, a diagnosis will not change much since their symptoms tend to already be (perceived as) more mild because 1) Autistic women are often relatively well adjusted socially and can even appear more or less NT-passing. So, what did women do in all those centuries where computers weren’t a thing? Obviously women are less physically strong than men, but young, fit women can handle physical labour and can be a valuable part of a workforce. Also, if doing physical labour is part of your everyday life, you will naturally grow the strength you need. It makes sense that if you give a woman who’s only worked computer jobs her entire life a task that requires hard, manual labour, she’s going to not be successful. But i…

Well, so are the neck, and the inner thighs. But those only become sexual in the right context, like breasts. I already said that breasts can indicate sexual maturity in a woman and can therefore be appealing. So sure, they do have sexual functions, but they are subordinate to the purpose of feeding infants. What I meant when I said they do not have a sexual function is that they don’t have a sexual function the same way reproductive organs have. Breasts can just be pretty to look at, just like …

Well again, I think there’s points for both sides, and it’s probably intertwined like you say. They can be sexual, but it depends on context. Breasts are not quite as sexual as, for example, a vagina. Shapely breasts are sexual in the same way anything pointing to youth, health and fertility can become sexual. Long, healthy, shiny hair, clear skin, plump lips, etc. I don’t think we could ever see a vagina as non-sexual, since reproduction is literally the only function of the vagina. Butts and b…

Willingly is a strong word IMO. Does a happy and healthy, young, middle class woman with supportive parents and a degree go into prostitution? Nope. They’re not slaves, but often there will be at least some shit going on which made them resort to prostitution in the first place. It’s not always as bad as the stories you hear, but prostitution is not really something you get into if you have better options.

Nobody goes into prostitution if they have better options. It’s not easy work, it damages.

Hmmm… I’d say there is arguments to be made on both sides. Breasts are appealing because they can show a woman’s body is sexually mature, but breasts of themselves do not have a sexual function. Instead, their direct function is to feed offspring. They don’t exist to appeal to men, they exist to feed infants. But yeah, perky breasts can translate to sexual attraction because in general, it indicates a woman is young and fertile.

Women’s cautiousness around sexual assault is only natural. A statistic that says men are more likely to get physically assaulted doesn’t change the fact rape is a thing, and that that is something which happens more often to women. The whole society shouldn’t revolve around it and the entire male sex shouldn’t be blamed for what rapists do, but I would say women’s cautiousness in general is fair, and not a bad thing, as long as it doesn’t mean innocent men get accused of course.

Sure, but I don’t just mean a teacher and a student. I mean any large age gap where one is barely 18 and the other is like 30. It doesn’t count as statutory rape because the law draws the line somewhere. But 18 is still young and society will look at it as morally wrong, even when it’s not legally wrong.

Of course 17 year olds don’t think differently than 18 year olds but 18 year olds in general still have little experience with sex and little understanding of the consequences, and so do 17 year olds. Just because 18 is the baseline doesn’t mean they aren’t still vulnerable when it comes to sex. You have to draw a line somewhere, and at 18 you are legally an adult so it makes sense to draw the line there. But legally right doesn’t always mean morally right. The fuss about using the word ‘female’ is a bit much. It’s not a conscious decision most guys who use it make. Fair enough. Intelligence and its subsets are more dependent on genetics than sex, though. A daughter of parents who have good spatial reasoning ability will still be better at it than a son of parents who have poor spatial reasoning. So I’m not sure how much you can take this average into account when trying to differentiate between the experiences of men and women. This is true, however, you have to think reasonably about what promiscuity means in this day and age. A century ago, promiscuity would probably mean any sex partner outside of marriage. You’re right. The entire social dynamic changes when you are with people of your own sex. It makes a lot more sense to have female-only or male-only spaces than to have white-only spaces because there’s not actually a difference in the way you interact with people of another skin color, and if there is, that is often because of prejudice on either side, it’s not hard-wired into your brain like it is with men vs women.

I know lots of men who are dominant but they are not socially skilled or below average looking. These men surely do not have a lot of choice. Anyways, I was trying to debunk your statement that masculinity, dominance and chivalry are oxymoronic …

You’re oversimplifying things. Many people have seemingly contradictory feelings and traits but still they coexist. No one is 100% alpha masculine dominant mega super giga chad all of the time and that’s good, because those traits will not be desirable in certain situations. The most important thing when it comes to attracting women through personality is emotional intelligence. Social smoothness. You need to know when to be assertive and when to let go of control a little. A guy with high emoti…

It seems like you are searching for words that are the literal equivalents of each other… I don’t think that’s necessary. My point is not that the two words should be perfect equivalents, just that they are about equal in casualty. Dudes is very informal, female is more stiff and formal. It’s just a weird combination. ‘Girls’ still works a lot better than ‘females’ IMO because it’s less formal, same goes for chicks and bitches. Of course chicks and bitches aren’t exactly polite but that was not …

I don’t think you have to use ‘female’ to specify you mean cis women to be honest. If you say: ‘I’m into women’ the vast majority of people will automatically assume you mean cis women as this is the norm. And either way, that was not the case in the specific example I gave. ‘Dudes’ was not used vocatively. It was referring to men as a group, ‘females’ was referring to women as a group.

It doesn’t have to literally be the feminine form of the word ‘dude’. Just anything more casual than ‘female’ would have been my choice in that sentence. ‘Girls’ works fine. Chicks. Even ‘bitches’ would make for a less weird contrast than ‘dudes’ and ‘females’ lol.

I’m just giving one explanation for why it might be frowned upon to use ‘female’. Linguistically it sounds off to use that word to describe the girl you had a conversation with at the grocery store like ‘oh yeah dude I had this conversation with a female today and…’. It’s just kind of like… Why would you say ‘female’? Why not just ‘woman’ or ‘girl’? That would make much more sense in such a sentence. There’s a grain of truth in it. If a population loses too many of its young, fertile females, the population completely crashes. Like, dies off. You need a lot of females to repopulate, and need less males as one male can impregnate several females. You just need to make sure there’s enough males to keep diversity in genes. For this reason, women going to war has been pretty much a no-go as this brings far too much risk on the entire population. I don’t see this changing anytime soon. Men going …

They can, but usually when you refer to women as ‘females’ you do so in a scientific context. It’s just an odd choice of wording to say something general like ‘I saw a female in the grocery store today’ when the expected wording, especially for a native speaker would just be ‘I saw a woman in the grocery store today’ or ‘I saw a girl in the grocery store today’.

Exactly, you don’t say ‘males and women’ or ‘men and females’, you either say ‘men and women’ or ‘males and females’, the latter often being used in more scientific contexts. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with the word ‘female’ by itself, but I have seen people referring to women as ‘females’ and to men as ‘dudes’ in the same sentence, something like this: ‘… dudes working out to get females…’ and that is a rather odd choice of wording.

The argument of ‘men invented everything so be grateful to us’ is logically unsound. Just because some man at some point invented a dishwasher does not mean all men deserve gratitude for this. And that goes for all inventions in society. Women who are attracted to abusers most often have attachment issues. Their attraction to abusers then has everything to do with their personal history and experiences and not with the fact they are women. They have been in abusive relationships before, be it with a parent or romantic partner and they are trying to recreate that dynamic. So, nurture, not nature. About 50% of the population is thought to have secure attachment. That includes women. You won’t see a mentally healthy, secure woman g…

I’m here to try and challenge people’s black and white views on the world. I don’t think it’s one or the other. Both can exist at the same time. ‘Gender bigotry’ existed when racism was still normalized in society. I think it’s just the good old ‘battle of the sexes’ and sadly, I think that one is here to stay.

No gender is more oppressed than the other. If that was the case then the human race would probably have gone extinct by now. Where men have disadvantages in one area, they have advantages in other areas, same goes for women. That’s how the power balance and therefore the rates of survival between the two genders is sustained. For every false accusation a man falls victim to, a woman gets raped for real. Men and women both face issues and you can’t say one gender has it worse than the other. You…

Yup. At some point, feminists started saying they are for equality for everyone but that doesn’t make sense. It’s feminism so of course it’s going to primarily focus on women’s issues. And there’s nothing wrong about that. Women can have their own movement and men shouldn’t demand that this movement also benefits men. It’s the grouping together all men and blaming men as a whole that makes modern day feminism so toxic. Men as a group can never be responsible for all of the problems women face. T…

I guess it exists, in the form of the ‘real women have curves’ shit. And with behaviors that are typically regarded as less feminine: burping, farting, talking loudly, smoking etc, which are really just annoying behaviors regardless of gender but when women do it, it affects their perceived femininity while with men it’ll just generate laughs from their friends, maybe an eyeroll here or there, and people move on. You don’t see it nearly on the same scale as it happens with men though.

Sure. I think everyone has different boundaries when it comes to that. Ideally she would take it lightly but if she feels offended she has a right to I guess. I was responding to the comment of ‘we don’t call it a medical condition when people are making fun of bald men’. People don’t call it a medical condition when it’s about men because it’s literally not (unless a guy has Alopecia as well ofc, but with most bald men it’s just the result of aging)
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/22 06:07 PM
5

Maybe cause men bald naturally and women don’t? People make jokes about women aging but balding is not part of that for women, the balding is indeed the result of a medical condition, not just nature like it is for men. A bald woman is not the same situation as a bald man.

But then again, I don’t think people are trying to deny psychopathic women exist, on the contrary actually. They mean that a healthy and stable woman: the average woman, the vast majority of the female population, is not like that. If a woman is like that then she’s a psychopath and not representative of the female gender, thus she cannot be used as an example to make generalizations about the whole female gender. That’s where the people are who have similar experiences and knowledge on the topic, that’s the people who actually have something useful to share with you. Perpetrators are most often adults whom the child knows and if it happens within the home, chances are it is happening continuously. It’s almost like some of you are hoping women will complain so you can get that ‘haha, gotcha’ moment. No one will be preventing women from getting babies if male birth control is introduced. And you know that because… you are a woman? Don’t make the mistake of applying your own values and desires as a man to women. Women and men value different things. That’s what I’m thinking too. It might be some evolutionary thing. Women evolutionarily have needed male validation to survive. Bad boys are no exclusion. It may feel more safe to get on the ‘good’ side of a bad boy, who has lots of confidence and resources to protect you. This may sometimes win women over despite his abusiveness. Yes, he might abuse them, but as long as they can keep pleasing him, he won’t kill them and he’ll be able to protect them from threats if needed.

Yeah, stereotypes exist for a reason but the idea that we shouldn’t rely on stereotypes to judge individuals also exists for a reason: Stereotypes are not representative of individuals. A lot of the comments seem to miss what I think is the main question in your post; about the use of emotional expression in survival. I’ll give my two cents. It’s pretty simple really. First off, all humans benefit from emotional expression. Expression of emotion is crucial for forming bonds with other people, which in turn is crucial for survival: it is well known that humans need other humans to survive. Men also express emotion for this reason, if they didn’t, the human race wouldn’t have mad…

So I realize this was a month ago, but here we go anyways. My point was that, theoretically, men are physically able reproduce pretty much all their lives, while women can only reproduce up until they are about 40, so no matter how cruel or harsh or painful, it kind of makes sense for women to be more picky than men, at least about their sexual partners. I don’t think that’s true. I think it does happen, enough for it to be a problem on its own. That being said, it’s definitely less accepted if men bully women for their body than vice versa. Yeah, they do. People in general judge other people based off of looks. That’s how humans work. I don’t know if it happens more for guys, there isn’t really a way to measure that.
