In custody doesn’t mean arrested and charged with murder on the spot. He was took into custody because he was bleeding, so he could have been stabbed as well. Or they think it was a retaliation stab after he did the stabbing.

I know they are speaking of the seat in this post, but I have other problems. I don’t know ANY women who put the LID down. I always put down the seat and lid, however, those of the fair sex somehow cannot wrap their otherwise well-meaning brains around putting the fucking lid down.
