Maybe I’m different than most but…hey girl what’s your number??

The number and rate are subjective. Nothing wrong with having a little fun. Stop slut-shaming.

I did read the study and I’ve replied to your other comments. This study says there is no difference in divorce rates for women with 2 partners and women with 10+ partners.

Because his study is from the Church of Latter Day Saints. If you read the study, they explicitly say that there is no difference between divorce rates of women with 2 partners and 10+ partners. Also, the study omits couples that had previously had a divorce. It also includes 18 year olds. 93% of the respondents are religious. It’s a biased study that cites publications from the 80’s and 90’s.

Kind of irrelevant because you’re assuming the husband refuses to accept that the marriage is over and is not able to move on.

The study says there is no difference between 2 partners and 10+ partners. “Two caveats are in order. First, the 33 percent divorce figure for women with ten or partners who married in the 2000s is not statistically significantly higher than the 30 percent five-year divorce rate for women who had two partners. Second, it is unknown as to why having ten or more partners has become more strongly linked to divorce only recently.”

Sorry but I’m not going to take a study done by BYU on sexual promiscuity seriously. That study was sponsored by the Church of Latter-day Saints.

Hahahahaha fair point I would’ve probably felt the same.

How do I know if she is loyal? I know because we have a very loving and trusting relationship. We both CHOSE to NOT be single anymore.

58 isn’t that high. It’s just not. What if it was 58 guys who only lasted 60 seconds?

Ok first of all, excellent comment. Thanks for not popping off at me like everyone else in these comments. You make some very good points. I think we are actually in agreement on how to assess a potential partner! Yes, the past certainly matters. I think a lot of guys would disregard everything about a girl once they heard the number 58, but there’s soooooo much more to a person than their body count.

I guess I just don’t see it the same as most other guys. When I meet a girl, I’m looking at the here and now. I’m concerned with the feelings I’m having in the moment, rather than getting hung up on her past. I don’t care what she did when she was a teenager or in her early twenties. I can’t expect her to just sit around or stop having sex with guys because she hit 15. It’s a subjective number anyways. If her body count is 58 and mine is 100, what does it say about me that I’m judging her? I thi…

You don’t need to be in a relationship to have sex with someone. What if she didn’t want to be in a relationship but still wanted to get laid? Isn’t that was a friend with benefits is?

Sure you can look at it that way. Or you can look at is as having a good time with 50-odd people while you’re still young. You’ve referred to someone with a high body count as frightening, having a lack of desire for substance, demonic, and a meat slinger/slingee. That’s a pretty shallow way to judge someone but I know I’m not gonna change your mind. You do you.

Some people just don’t want to be in a relationship. What’s wrong with that?

Yup. There is some serious woman-hate in here. It’s crazy how many guys out there carry the mindset of “higher body count = less desirable”. They clearly don’t know how to find the fun girls. And I agree, 58 is not anything crazy. If it was 200 then I’d wonder why, but having a good time with 58 people throughout your teens and twenties is no reason to hate on someone. It’s all just insecurity because I would bet that the average body count in these comments is ~2.5 Imagine finding a girl who’s …

Unfortunately people fail to see this exact point. She’s looking to get into a relationship and doesn’t want to be a hoe anymore. She is literally saying that she wants to settle down and find someone special.

I stand by my statement. He’s gone out of his way to find studies that back up his incel viewpoints.

If you’re an inexperienced guy with low confidence, then it’s not surprise you have resentment towards girls with a high body count. Women are attracted to experience and confidence. Last time I checked, sex is fun for everyone. But these guys are acting like girls aren’t allowed to have some fun before they settle down.

Say it louder for the people in the back. These guys clearly don’t know how to find the fun girls, let alone lock one down.

You’ve got that completely backwards my friend.

What is an acceptable number for you then? How many, and over what time period, does it take to become “promiscuous”?

Wait so the girl is only adding more guys to round to an even number? Wtf are you on?

You can’t be in a romantic relationship with someone fun? I think you’re assuming that a high body count=cheating. Not true.

Your take on this is confusing. You shame a girl with a body count higher than you prefer, but don’t offer what would be a better number. What is an acceptable number? Let’s say you’re happy with it being 10. Well then let’s look at this from the flip side…what do you think about a girl who has only been with 1 guy? Is she a prude? Is she unadventurous? Unattractive? Is she terrible in bed? This is why I say your take is confusing. It seems like you don’t know what you want.

Are you kidding? Sluts are the fun ones. Y’all don’t know what you’re missing out on.

Yea I guess I did word that badly. I was just trying to get through the door. I never was violent towards her (aside from the kick which I already explained was accidental).

Thanks dude. Wasn't trying to steal your thunder or anything...just thought I would share my story. I'm glad you were able to get out of the situation too. Cops almost always go for the guy in domestic disputes, I guess luck was on our side.

No bullshit. She was staying over in my room that night. I had a very small room (10x10?) and I had put two twin beds together so it was actually comfortable to sleep with her. Problem was that the bed took up 90% of the room. She was sitting at the desk, which was at my feet. I was trying to go to sleep and she was sitting at the computer. We were arguing pretty heavily and I just said fuck it and tried to diffuse the situation by not arguing with her anymore and just going to bed. She kept tal…

Same thing happened with my gf. We got into a huge fight and she started clawing, scratching and hitting me. I was lying down on the bed trying to sleep and I just started kicking my legs. I didn't realize her head was at my feet and I accidentally kicked her in the head. The back of her head hit the bedpost and she collapsed and started to seizure. I don't know exactly what happened, but I guess they call it a "stinger." She was unresponsive for a minute or two, but it seemed like an eternity. …
