My thoughts on "It was rape because I was drunk".Duress is one of the greatest nullifiers of contracts, also being forced to sign. If you signed a contract while drunk, that alone does not give reason to nullify it. You have to show that you had absolutely no grasp of the consequences of signing or the reality while you were drunk. Very hard to prove. | /r/MensRights | 25/08/13 02:42 PM
My thoughts on "It was rape because I was drunk".An alcoholic has the full culpability and liability for contracts entered into while sober as any other individual. - See more at: http://contract-law.laws.com/consideration/intoxication#sthash.Sxr4itF0.dpuf | /r/MensRights | 24/08/13 08:30 PM
My thoughts on "It was rape because I was drunk".Also, look a this. http://contract-law.laws.com/consideration/intoxication During contract disputes in which the intoxicated party attempts to prove that the contract should be declared voidable, they must prove that they were intoxicated to the point that they were unaware of the legal consequences of entering into the contract. If this can be proven, it will establish that the contract violates one of the contract law basics, specifically that the parties to the contract must genuinely assent … | /r/MensRights | 24/08/13 08:29 PM
My thoughts on "It was rape because I was drunk".First of all, this is a q and a site, nothing it says is truly reliable. Second, On the other hand, if s/he became intoxicated involuntarily (or not "by choice"), it is more likely that s/he will be excused from obligations existing under the contract. | /r/MensRights | 24/08/13 08:25 PM
My thoughts on "It was rape because I was drunk".No, you're just making up bullshit, this is never the case, whatever you sign, under your own free will, is legally binding; if there ever were a few cases where it was the case, they are the outliers. | /r/MensRights | 24/08/13 05:38 PM

Melissa Harris-Perry On George Zimmerman Verdict: 'I Live In A Country That Makes Me Wish My Sons Away'Yup, people never realize how quickly that could have been them. He was just an average concerned citizen. He even volunteered for the Obama campaign, an administration that had turned against him. I try not to hold this too much against George, but if it had been someone else, chances are that George would be one of those protesters, but that doesn't matter, what matters is how the media and the ignorant portion of the public basically crucified someone who clearly did no harm. | /r/MensRights | 15/07/13 07:41 PM
