Maybe half and half? I'm GenZ and plenty of people my age use AI. The ethics should be worked out somehow, but nothing wrong with liking it

There is a difference between book smart and street smart But in this situation it's more that she likely has self awareness and desperate for validation issues

Everything the other commenters said, and I would like to clarify when you were at this stage I legitimately don't care that much about a woman and even tell her that, but the moment I start to fall for the woman and shower her with more affection or want to escalate the relationship they seem to get turned off. Were you already dating or it's predating? If it's predating perhaps they thought you were just friends? Probably dumb question but it was unclear to me

Oh naw it's just what I learned from my history classes. My professors are the real ones. Thinking is hardly rare, anyone who needs to design solutions to problems will have high abstraction thinking. And the same goes for you, you seem to have studied a lot of things and put thought into them, so I found what you said was solid and felt the urge to reply

Real, I'm the exact same. Maybe it's normal as I'm only honest with 1-2 close friends, not really with other friends or acquaintances. Even then there are a few things I have not told them. I am honest with family and it still ends up with a big fight sometimes but we're used to it at this point. It won't be as toxic as with family but I don't want to have to tiptoe around my partner or inflate their ego by saying things I don't think. I can say it in a nice way or find positives I actually thin…

Agree on the sin wave, and perhaps it's moving upwards thanks to technology increasing quality of life. History repeats itself but there are differences. That is if nothing resets civilization like a meteor. I feel you, even though I personally like humans they can be hard to deal with.

Fair. As for the transgender shamans thing that was for Native Americans, specifically for the history of Western culture and Christianity that doesn't seem to have a precedent until recently. So hope there perhaps?

Yes it's difficult to strip away from gender roles founded on biology but these past few decades have been full of changes unprecedented to thousands of years of evolution. So perhaps we are at the prime time for change or transition? Even if it'll realistically take several stages and we won't see it being common until we're old and gray. That would be moot then I suppose.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/26 07:47 AM

True. This is probably why older woman and younger man couples often work out well because she can take the lead and knows what she wants, while the younger man gains experience. I'd like to say the "exception" is increasing, even if not as common and still tinted by gender roles in many different ways. We can only hope for the future (or just me, y'all don't seem to hope at all)

Likely because it isn't as common and hysterical women are seen as normal. Even so, yes we should start talking about it more as society has changed from the past

I was hoping you'd read until the end of the comment because my main points were in the second half, but well, to reply: Babbage, Lovelace, Turing, Zuse, Atanasoff, von Neumann each built a different piece of the conceptual machine. As for frequency hopping technology: • The technique most directly connected to modern spread-spectrum communication (used in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth) comes from a 1941 patent by Hedy Lamarr and George Antheil describing frequency hopping to prevent radio jamming. • Mode…

A very long reply I’m not sure you’ll bother reading: It depends on the company, location, and specialization you’re at. It’s true that most contributors are still men though. It does not mean that if men disappeared suddenly women would be helpless, putting aside reproduction. Society is a roughly patched up machine. It will hiccup but people will live. I don’t know if you studied history but many women contributed to the initial stages of creating the computer. Before popularization “computing…

This is one of those situations where making general statements is difficult because the world is full of different cultures and norms and so many individual circumstances. One woman's life can be very different from another's. So is a man's to another man's. And I don't just mean Chad vs average joe but average joe vs average joe with different values and experiences. It's true that in general average men do the approaching and initiating, and society pressures them to "prove themselves" and co…

I suppose but it applies to either gender for that person? It was just a tongue in the cheek way of saying it’s the individual that matters. But it’s just one woman’s opinion. And I agree appreciation for male beauty is sorely lacking in comparison. But that’s because gay men and female sexuality was looked down on until recently. Plenty of other women in this thread mentioned ass, legs, collarbones, muscle, arms, dick

She’s just saying she doesn’t like men or women as a group or it automatically applies to every woman or man. Just that it depends on the individual she meets. I suppose she is bisexual or asexual then. She isn’t drawn to any female or male specific traits but general stuff like good ass or funny jokes that apply to both genders. This is my assumption

Well, I’m not the original replier but the fact that you’re piggybacking on the accomplishments of a few select humans personally unrelated to you, shows that you yourself are likely not even in the specified relevant fields. Just saying if you actually were, you would be up to date to the current state of STEM, research and technology which has people innovating regardless of gender and country of origin

I agree with some of your points but acting like “men’s feelings” aren’t the focus is part of the problem. Your framing should be “we should care more about men’s feelings”. Which women take it as “men’s opinions” so they feel threatened because they feel subject to enough already. But no there is a difference. Intersectionality plays a role here as men’s opinions (especially those with status and power) have been overrepresented. So rather than opinions it should be about men’s emotional develo…

Another comment because I have more words: Because after the anti-gay laws came into effect, men who expressed their desires for both women and men, can only express desire for women. And women who were restricted on expressing desires for either gender lest being called a slut couldn’t explicitly express desires either way. Plus like how men tend to be taller than women, it’s no secret men on average are hornier than women. Horny women exist like how tall women exist and asexual men exist like …

People like to say some women are a certain way, they get turned on regardless of gender due to self protection has its basis, but looking at my cousins and many women out there, straight women who aren't even remotely interested sexually in the female body are pretty common. As for the sexual rigidity of men, like another commenter said, case in point is military, sometimes even sports. That is not to say 100% straight men don't exist, but that there are more bi men than we think. Perhaps there…

Why don't straight and gay people fit on the spectrum though? They are just at the extreme end. Like the color spectrum, bi people are gray, straight/gay people are white or black

Thank you for dragging this out. It’s astounding just how many people really want men and women to be the same in this regard. I’m sorry, the vast majority of men who identify as straight are actually truly honestly fully 100% straight in any circumstance. Is there a small percentage who are secretly closeted? of course! But that is a small percentage. No, it is not due to a social stigma. No, they are not secretly closeted. And no, they are not secretly bi-curious to any degree. I can agree wit…

Is it gay to be tempted by a man who looks delicate and feminine over an actual woman even if she is ugly? The fact that femboys or crossdressers get some straight men hard says something
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/26 03:38 AM
1

Men have more of a reason to deny any gay tendencies due to stigma, that's why everyone is so sus when a guy says he is not gay or that majority of men aren't even a bit gay. Regardless of whether it's true for the guy or not, it's just based on probability

Here’s the thing that might get me burned on the stake of progressive politics, I’ve personally seen women lean into their bi side more after bad experiences with men. Very valid. Though it's hard to say whether they already had the genes but remained inactive due to comphet and activated later. I don't get why that would get you burned on the stake but I'm not exactly a political extremist either. So maybe I'm not a good reference. Perhaps there are social factors to attraction and genetic/biol…

Maybe if society as a whole put more emphasis on men spending more time on their beauty (which is indeed increasing), she would appreciate male beauty more. At the current situation, on average women are indeed more pleasant looking
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/26 03:06 AM

Probably because lesbians are less stigmatized and men are often dogged on if they are "gay" in any way. So there is more prevalence in suspecting men being in the closet. It's also more common for women to be asexual or primarily depend on emotional bonding for sexual attraction

I wonder what causes bi vs straight, is it the hippocampus/amyglada? Can it be trained (like more exposure and more arousal to a certain stimuli strengthens it while with lack of exposure it remains weak). Or is it determined by biology/genes? And why the different wiring and how it plays in evolution

sample size of 2 Of course not saying it applies to everyone but that it's an option and likely necessary as income trends change Studies It's also interesting that for both men and women the dependent side cheats more, although the self esteem aspect is different. So it is possible to happily live a relationship like this, its just creates unnecessary stress, if the parties cant handle it. That is true. Hopefully it will change by generation as younger men these days are relatively less into ma…

Makes sense. And yeah, your ideal women likely wouldn't be on dating websites or clubs/bars. Perhaps a hiking group, dance class, academic groups or church. It's pretty hard to meet people once you're out of college. I'd love to meet that dream woman, but it seems borderline impossible in the first place, and it feels as though socially adjusted family men are not really valued or in demand by women. I can't really say as I don't have exact numbers of what is what but it seems to me they tend to…

Like you said in your other reply, as long as they aren't malformed like one eye completely bigger than the other, they are not considered ugly. Of course women may rate some average man ugly in comparison to handsome men but they still pass the threshold. Where the threshold is in below average to average depends on the woman. So my meaning was that the incels in the pictures are average, some even above average. If they learned styling they could literally enter handsome male territory. I susp…

Idk about statistics, I was basing it off two of my relatives, one my aunt is the sole breadwinner and her husband stays home to raise their daughter, they've been married for at least 10 years. The other is my cousin she married her husband but he got disabled after a car accident and now she is the only breadwinner but they're still married for like 5 years. It's only anecdotes but since it fell into an average person's life like me I figured it should be getting more common. And plus online a…

It makes sense to be mad and frustrated. But think about it, for your goals and the type of caring and devoted woman you want, does she want a raging bitter redpill man? Or would she want a socially adjusted family man? The path forward is thinking about what your ideal woman would care about, not what some other random shitty women are trying to do like datemaxxing looks or income.

I think when people say "bad personality" they mean to say "bad social skills or persona". Bad personality as in not necessarily evil per say, but "unsuitable" or misfit. But the nuance doesn't carry well so misunderstandings ensue.

Based on the meetup pictures of incels they aren't even ugly and pass fully well. It's more likely they lack social skills than their looks

The average women you have in mind is probably above average. Average women often fail when fishing for chads or don't even attempt. Because Chads and Staceys date each other. If the Stacey can't land her dream Chad, she settles for a lower grade Chad or like you said "some guy" because she has options and is desirable. Staceys tend to come from upper middle class and higher which translates to spare time and energy for polishing and grooming looks. Women of lower status are more likely to think…

The market is bad but for income at least there are cases where the guy makes the home and his partner makes the dough. So guys who know how to make a home is valuable too? It's just that in general men make more than women. So it's not as common, but it's increasing compared to the past. And I think personality still plays a role. Though you were probably just listing desirable traits. I think truly ugly people male or female are rare. Most of time it can be fixed by grooming, exercise or makeu…

I don't get why this isn't the default advice. This seems like the most rational way of thinking. Or rather most people think this way it's just this subreddit I guess. Perhaps they already have the former half down, most incels don't seem to be that bad looking. So it's likely the latter half and the nuances of being "confident and friendly to women", not being a pickme or giving off desperation that needs work. They need better social skils

Indeed there are a lot out there. I feel like women who like twinks tend to be queer or lgbt in some way. Though twinks and "beautiful men" are very normalized in Asia and not just lgbt as you can see in kpop and celebrities. So I just lurk in these type of topics because idk what peacocking advice/opinion to even give since I don't understand the attraction for whatever tall, 6 pack, manly masc, domineering trash man people go on about. Bro someone who actually understands than perpetrates biases and ethnocentric views towards Asia 😭 It's like they haven't spoken in depth to actual Asians, thinking they are too good for the "subservient race" to even ask for their opinions and just assumed shallow knowledge off the internet
/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/26 05:15 AM

It may have been true for part of the population for 1) money and 2) non-traditional women seeking non-traditional men. But most of the population still prefer partners from their own culture, they just blend in the background. People like things that are familiar. White people are just exotic for people with fetishes, like how some White people are with Asians.

Yes women are more vague and implicit about it, making it more of a pain. Fear is irrational though that's the issue, it would be wrong to use that to justify like how a crime is a crime. And it's not entirely fear but also in general women choose to soften their words or beat around the bush to not seem too assertive or say bad things directly. I dunno perhaps my reply wasn't that relevant to your experience because idk what it's exactly like in those women's shoes. Perhaps it's more likely tha…

"If a woman isn’t willing to contribute anything on the first few dates, she’s not actually interested. She just wants someone to fill a role." That's a good conclusion and filter. To be fair marriages weren't really for compatibility or love in the past, it was mainly for survival. So after you get rid of the survival incentive, having higher dating standards and less people getting married is normal. Why permanently alter your life if it's not going to bring good changes? Although I will say t…

Agree women need to be more honest and mature communication, but I suppose from their perspective they think of the "gun is always loaded" perspective for men similar to how some commenters in this thread use for women. They hear news stories about how a woman rejected a man or broke up with him and the man killed her. Of course it won't be that extreme but they want to avoid any backlash because historically men owned women and fighting directly got shut down. Bad habits learned from parents. E…

I think the plausible story that argues the two events were related and not causal is: via a combination of nature and nurture, she was predisposed to have mental health issues, and even if she had never performed the experiment of pretending to be man, eventually at some point, something else would have probably given her a mental breakdown, and she'd end up on this path anyway. But either way, I think it's strongly suggestive that the two events are indeed at least related. - comment from the …

If being a woman is so wonderful why don’t you change genders? Open your legs, get pregnant for a year, give birth, that way you can become a caretaker and get involved with children and the elderly. People welcome you in their worlds, let their guards down around you and have “decreased boundaries” with you.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/24 03:14 AM

Women have a lot more to lose with a bad sex partner in general though. Men can just stick it in then dust off their pants and go when they finish but the woman has to worry about cleaning things up, vaginal tearing if the man was too rough and impatient, physical harm if he happens to have a weird fetish to harm or choke her. Though of course if it’s a crazy woman who has a weapon or physically abuses him and threatens a man to tear open his butthole and the man doesn’t fight back due to fear o…

Given women in general aren't as casual when choosing a partner, if she chose to be with that man then there is something she finds attractive about him. Reading this post in 2022 (because I was ten 10 years ago). Thanks this really helped! I’m female but also a pushover and this felt applicable. It’s more acceptable for women to be pushovers but I should be more “candid about what I want” instead of worrying so much about what others think and rejection.
