Focus on body language and your vibe, this is primitive and instinctive like attraction and chemistry. Words and language is a man made technology, its far less important. Your comments here make me think you have a tense body language that make women tense too.

No this is awful advice. This sub is about building attraction and the beginning of a relationship. This is what you should do to appreciate only women who are already with you and have feelings for you.

You are absolutely right that she is trying to take control here. I won’t bore you with the details but this is why she’s been more unpredictable and exciting. We’ve jostled for control over things from the start. I do want something serious here with a woman who is my peer. Its just this objection and the resistance shes put on me closing despite date full of fireworks has caught me flat footed. It makes me think if I just ask for a date without a game plan it may leave this on her terms.

Thanks man I think what you’re saying makes sense. I guess its because I haven’t been able to close this thats its got me a bit caught off guard. I played this aloof initially but turned up with an intensity and passion angle after she asked me out. I think “being chill” is out. She messaged me saying she had a great time and wants to see me again after our date, so I voiced her to the effect “the time we spend together is unforgettable but I feel you’re a woman who will just leave me hurt in th…

Thanks for your great articulation of something that I’ve done intuitively but never understood. I’ve recognised her as being driven, independent which is why shes on my mind at all. I’ve run a very less verbose, heavy on the body language, and sincere but intense angle with her. The more I think about it this objection can’t be the real reason I haven’t been able to close this yet despite the chemistry.

This makes intuitive sense to me. For the last part I don’t think she’s actually particularly insecure for a woman in general so I don’t think that applies. The real objection must be something else, because I’m a bit caught off guard that despite the intense chemistry she is resisting the home run here. I’ve not made contact since the great date, I’m hoping it will add some suspense at very least, if not for her to do some pulling.

I guess that leaves you with hookers Otherwise what you are saying is, "you want have something for nothing"

'So why don't we?' (matter of fact dead pan delivery) 'I don't know what if they turn out short/alcoholics/retarded' (calibrate the appropriate level of playful tease) Don't over read single actions/things said, focus on being in the moment and pushing things ahead.

Nice to hear your thoughts on this. Test/objection whatever you want to term it. What is your go to executed strategy for this commonly recurring objection/test? I'm interested in seeing people's thoughts on this beyond getting hung up over my personal scenario but the general details are there. It sounds like your strategy boils down to playing it hot and cold, keeping it Pavlovian and rewarding escalations. I can agree with this in principle, its close to my current approach but adding some pa…

This is how people become edgelords. Being offensive comes with a social cost, its about calibrating and showing what social cost you are willing to pay to have authenticity. In a vacuum being offensive is not good.

Personally I feel handshakes have a very man-man undertone. Like arms on the shoulder. I generally don't shake hands with women I want to build attraction with, and do it to signal platonic boundaries. A slight variation is to kind of grab their hand with your two fingers and thumb a bit, think the French 'enchante' thing, its a bit European and situational however. To go beyond the scope of your question here. I think you are starting from the wrong foot here. What you are doing is, trying to a…
