Well, you have to take into account to the differences in job choices. For instance, a gender studies major (largely women ) wouldnt earn as much as an engineering major (largely men). And also, men have childcare too, and the point i was raising was people claim they work less per week because of childcare, but men have childcare too. i think the US. Dept. Of labour said women work around 74 hours per 100 worked by a man (on average). The sad part is when i explain this to a feminist, they always say "thats because women have to take care of their families"

just explain to her that the US department of labor says that on average, women work 75 hours per 100 that a man works. And when we look at salaries, we look at end of year totals. If they make 78% of our salary at 75% of the hours worked, they get payed on average a little more. The wage gap that feminists use is a statistical exploit, and not an actual issue.
