| 4 | I’m seriously so angry that this is such a pervasive narrative in our media and elsewhere.It’s not really related but this reminds me of a story my teacher told me once. Something about a male writer researching to write a book, something about gender discrimination, can’t remember all the specifics. But he was interviewing a group of women when one of them mentioned how when she looks in the mirror she sees a black woman. A white woman speaks up and says she sees a woman.
