Could you tell me what you mean by a person who "has a lot going on, but just to get with women"? Women are currently my top 3 motivators for getting my life in order, and I want to make sure I'm avoiding this.

I believe you. Thanks for all the work you do on this sub. It would be immensely helpful to me to hear you talk about them but Reddit might not be the place for it.

I think you basically understand what I want. I was looking for an anecdote with a woman's perspective first or second hand about pining for a guy in ways that wasn't related to physical attractiveness.

Let's just say you divide the population in two: people who have watched Inception and those who haven't. How do you get a sense of the movie without watching it? You could look at average ratings by a 1000 people. This gives you a fair sense of how good the movie is but not much about what it's like. You could read reviews by experts, which give you a slightly less accurate view of how the movie feels to the average person, but you get a better sense of what it is like watching the movie. All t…

Thanks for pointing the first thing out, I didn't know that BMI correlated with BF% strongly. Thanks for the reality check on the second. For the last one, I am not looking for something scientific because I accept the claim that non muscled men are desired. I'm not incredulous that non muscled men get laid. I wasn't muscular and I have had multiple girlfriends. I'm only looking for some kind of analogy to help me understand. Random people's stories on reddit have been my guide to dating because…

Yeah I'm a science student so I know I'm not rebutting everything you said, merely highlighting a possibly important drawback of the stat you gave. It would be interesting if the fat/shredded split was highlighted too. If you're a woman I'd be interested in understanding what this indifference to musculature actually amounts to in your experience. Do women seek out specific non-muscled men if they are known to be confident and fun? Are non-muscled men the subject of jealousy, given "compensating…

A high BMI can also indicate large muscles without fat, indicating preference for muscular guys.

Also, how would you distinguish this "glance" from regular "looking at someone"?

In what situations do you give these glances? This will help me find them around me.

I'm about your age. Where are you meeting these girls?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
