The problem is not really the age, but that a student is depending on his teacher. At least here in Germany adults may sleep with 17 year olds, but teachers might not.

Why do those families need mixed restrooms? A separate small room with a changing table is way more admirable. If this is not possible they should just put one in each restroom. In Germany by the way, bigger places have to offer separate toilets for the genders. This is regulated by law. Also the exact minimum number of toilets is fixed. Only small places might be allowed to offer mixed bathrooms, but they have to ask the city/communty for their blessing to be allowed to do that. So normally onl…

I think unisex bathroom exist in Europe only in the form of one single lockable bathroom for one person at a time in small places. I don't think anybody needs or wants unisex bathrooms. In discos or at large public parties it is quite common though that women use the men's room. It's kind of strange to see them going in in groups openly judging the genitals of the men on the urinals...

I didn't want to go that far. But there is strong support for a circumcision ban in Germany. I am personally pretty sure it is related to the recent findings about very strong islamophobia (the majority of germans said they don't want to grand full religious freedoms to muslims) and also strong anti-judaism (there has been recent statistics that about half of germany's population has strong anti-judaic prejudices). I can't stand when feminists insist on "equal" rights but still swear a woman should never be hit (even if she deserved it) .... Sorry I have a problem with that part. In allmost all cases a woman would physically be way weaker than a man. So (even if "she deserves it") a man should never beat a woman.

This whole thing is really difficult. You have to somehow balance the rights of the supposable rape victim and the rigths of the propably innocent supposable raper. Sometimes I think americans are to far on the first site (even the smalest suspicion seems to have the power to ruin someones live) and europeans to far on the second site (convicted rapers sometimes hardly see the prison from inside). It is a very delicate and difficult topic though.

I agree with you. But it also has to be discussed why the boys are discriminated. Is it evil meaning? Is it because teachers likes girls better (zhe majority of teachers in Germany is female), is it that teachers are just not well enough educated (and cannot differentiate between boyish behaviour and the capability of the boys?) or or or?

Don't know. Some legal reason I guess. The student has to put down his name and student number on front of the exam. But as I said, in this case it is university. Nobody cares for anybodies parents. :)

I don't understand this. I myself am teaching at a university. I would prefer to have all anonymous, but arround here the names have to be taken down on the exam. I still try not to look at the names though.

Not bad google. Basically they compared results of anonymous tests and the grades of the students. When a boy and a girl show the same competence in the anonymous test the girl usually has the better grade. They also discuss if the boys grades might be influenced by rebellious behaviour though.
