It's Bateman's principle, pretty sure it was taught in school.

There’s nothing wrong with women being picky as long as they accept the reality that for as long as we have a culture where one man marries one woman and the ratio of male and female are roughly even, then many women aiming at the best male specimens will go without a mate, there are incels and then there are their female counterparts who keep complaining all the good men are gone or so hard to find as they approach their forties. For every man that’s alone there will be a woman that’s alone.

Well since you brought up biology. Males are biologically programmed to seed as many females as possible, that's why they aren't as picky as women, basically any healthy female is a viable mate. Females are biologically programmed to find the best genetics in a potential mate, that's why they are absurdly picky, because to females it's more of a competition for the best, rather than simply a search for viable mates. So I would say the difference is not so much the level of attractiveness but the…

Money, looks, personality. Generally women put money > looks, while men put looks > money A decent mix of the 3 or an extreme of one will make anyone desirable. You need both unless you are absurdly rich. You only need to be absurdly rich if you are ugly with a shit personality. Being rich, considerate with below average looks is still excellent partner material. Sex is better with considerate partners than with someone who just looks good but doesn't put in any effort, so I'd say that factors i…

Desirability stems from 3 main factors. Wealth, Physical Attractiveness and Personality. A good ratio of these 3 or even just an extreme of one will make you desirable. How desirable you need to be will depend on the standards of others which will be higher the more desirable they themselves are. So if you can't find a partner either be more desirable or drop your standards. The fact of the matter is, unless there's a huge disparity in the ratio of male:female in the population where you are, ge…

Looks are secondary to the size of that bulge... in your wallet.

That's just the incel excuse, it's always been about money, but it's easier to put the blame on I have a face I can't change, than I need to be more successful in my career.

Male equivalent is divorced, ex gets his stuff, the house and he's stuck paying alimony.

Far as physical attractiveness goes, age is just a number, if you look better at 30 than some 20 year old you'll still get hit on more often.

Generally it’s the same with women valuing men for their wealth by asking “So what do you do?” straight out the gate, that’s why you’ll see older richer men end up with younger women, their preferences match.

Partly true, on the flipside better packaging means more people will drawn to try your product, but if the product is crap they'll still dump it.

So basically "I'm super awesome but I can't get a date." The likely explanation is they're probably narcissists IRL, their personality is so negative it that overwhelms all their positive aspects, assuming they even are what they claim and it's not just their narcissism leading them to overestimate their desirability.

I'm going to be generalizing a quite a bit, but the reason why I feel this complaint lacks merit is because unless there's a significant enough disparity of sexes in the population, there's going to be a relatively equal amount of unpartnered men and women who are not in long term relationships. The fact is everyone wants the desirable people and a lot of the undesirable people don't even want to hook up with each other, so why does a desirable person owe it to an undesirable person to be their …

If just average is too high a bar then they're probably below average themselves, the problem is below average people don't like each other either they always aim above their class so they have no one to blame but themselves for ending up alone. Aim low enough and you'll find someone, think they're too low for you? Guess what if you've gone that far and still haven't found anyone then you ain't worth much yourself, at some point down it's a personality problem not a physical attractiveness issue…

I don’t see what mileage has to do with sex, but are you basically saying that if she can’t have sex any more at some point she would no longer have value to you as a partner?

Admittedly they’ll probably tap anything given the opportunity presents itself, but going out of their way to fawn over a below average attractive woman they don’t even know, I can’t say I’ve ever seen that happen either.

They may be desperate but if they’re desperate for you, that’s an ego boost for most. It’s not the same kind of desperate like they’d hound every woman in sight. A lot of incels complain about never getting a woman’s attention, but in reality they’re complaining about the women they want not giving them attention, while they themselves ignore women of average and below average attractiveness.

She was “desecrated” already because she had sex with someone before you, but the only reason you’re not okay with it is because he desecrated her in less time than you were able to.

I think the issue is you’re looking at sex as a “reward” rather than something the both of you just do as a part of the relationship. You can’t really compare how many dates till sex, it should be in the moment and if that’s the mood you both end up in as a natural extension of enjoying spending time together. It sounds like you’re not putting any value on the dates you have spent together and just see it as the price you pay to get laid. If you don’t enjoy going out with someone, it doesn’t sou…

That could be true, they may still be financially dependent on their parents, so a partner with money isn’t a priority yet since the sense of need isn’t there.

Granted I’m 30+, but has that really changed for longterm relationships these days? I guess I can kind of see young girls messing around with the cool guys wanting to become their gf, but how often does that play into actual long term? Usually those are the brittle relationships that break under any kind of real pressure, which a lack of money tends to create.

Generally speaking you're correct guys don't need to be that good looking to get an attractive partner, generally they need to have money.

If that were the case the thirstiest nerds would be the ones getting laid all the time.

I don't think most regular guys look for more attractive partners due to "status", long term commitments mean you don't get to sleep around, so the mentality of most guys is that if you're only going to be able to sleep with one person it better be someone you really find attractive because you won't have any other options. If it were about status it would make more sense to marry someone with higher status, like an unattractive but very wealthy individual, which is actually more in line with wh…

Definitely scripted, none of those interactions looked remotely real, B movie level acting.
