There was one woman in 2014. So as I said, quite rare.

Men do quite their share of emotional abuse too. According to this study there are no significant differences on that https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3876290/#:~:text=Females%20reported%20perpetrating%20slightly%20more,no%20statistically%20significant%20gender%20differences. Males do exert more sexual coercion. And emotional abuse is bad, but lifelong injuries and death (which happens predominantly by men on women) is even worse.

Are you complaining that women are bumping into you? Or are you using "attention" in a sense that imply way more than not bumping into you?

A lot of people seem to miss social cues. I think most people see them but for one reason or another (usually the reason is they're mentally unhealthy themselves) they choose to ignore the red flags. I do think society is to blame in the sense that a lot of shitty values are encouraged. Solidarity and caring for others have been replaced by individualism and search of personal success. It's everyone for themselves, especially in north America.

And your girlfriend/wife would cheat on you with my big circumcised shlomo as soon as she could if you had one

And, again, no way to know whether your woman is part of that minor fraction. How are you going throught life while being such a poor judge of character.

How does it feel knowing god will condemn you to hell? It makes me come faster when two people are sucking my dick if I remember that god is watching me and judging. (Also I'm jew we don't believe in hell, or I was before switching to atheism)

How do I know this dude did not balance bananas on his nose before? That's not the point of my comparison anyway. The point is: no, women do not have chaddy gangbangs every weekends. If you find one that do, please tell me cause I know a lot of promiscuous women yet never saw or heard about one even remotely close.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/01/21 07:46 PM

Indeed, so I do know a lot of promiscuous women, which is how I know this is more than a gross exageration. Aint nobody got time to do a gangbang every weekend. Or the energy. Or even the will to do so.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/01/21 07:44 PM

Not enough that it's a social thing. It's like if I was complaining of guys who are balancing bananas on their noses. Sure at least one dude or two does this, but I look like a fool talking about that.

I see your point. I also had to crawl my way to success with raw mental and physical strength while being undiagnosed for clinical lazyness (ADHD) so I can relate. I went another direction and worked on my jealousy a long time ago so now I've shed my needs to possess any exclusivity on my partners. I just wish upon them that everyday is great and filled with happiness and interesting experiences. To be clear Im not implying you should do like me. Most murder is inner city gangs. Rarely sons of rich people indeed. Men having the capacity to cause more damage, even death, doesn't mean they go to violence more often. Studies say they actually do, at least for all types of violence that are actually dangerous (stalking, retaliation after breakup, actual murder, etc). You can't use raw studies without looking at context. Sociological studies are all about the context.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/01/21 02:49 PM

It would be interestting if you analyzed why you have this "obsession" (the word might be strong) about first experiences. I would advise you to take some time to try and understand why that is. Personally I'm more interested in living good times, or maybe even "better" times, than first times.

I accept all studies, cause Im not cherry picking like some redpillers do. I already replied to this yesterday, here is my reply. Blacks are not more violent than whites if you account for poverty, btw. /// Black crime, just like regular crime, is prevalent in poor neighborhood. Because that’s how male and female sexual strategies work. There’s millions of years of evolutionary biology behind it. The usual "redpillers are evopsych experts" when in reality most (not all but most) conclusions I read from those "experts" are pure nonsense or at least dramatically interpreted as they like. I can show you a bunch of studies that go the opposite way from the one you like and if you're like the other redpillers here you'll just tell me my studies happen to be wrong. Then you’r…

I never said anything about beauty. I said that I vaue seeing my partner grow/mature and sharing first experiences. Do you mean first sexual experiences or just first experiences in general? If you really don't care about the beauty part, would you be okay dating a 30 year old woman if you're 30, as long as she stayed home all this time? Therefore she's not so young but she still have a lot of first experiences to live? This apart, why do you give value to first experiences? Don't you think you …

Men are the gatekeepers to relationships How so? And they want lower n counts. I really do not want that, both for casual sex or LTR. Having had sex with virgins, almost-virgins and experienced sluts, I always enjoyed the latter more.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/01/21 10:41 AM

How does giving your youth to the guys that are not worth it Maybe stop thinking that women having sex is "giving" something to someone? Sex and relationships is something that two people participate in. It's not a gift or a prize. You're not worth less after having sex with someone. As long as you were careful (no unwanted pregnancy or STD) you did not lose anything after having sex. and not to the guy who is actually worth it reserving the really good stuff for the latter If you find the perfe…

I would consider this too low for me. I prefer young girls who already have experience. The important thing is you do what you feel comfortable doing. Men have no right to judge you, especially redpillers that spend their lifes trying to "turn plates"
/r/PurplePillDebate11/01/21 10:02 AM

The disgust that men have towards the thought of committing to sluts is an evolutionary defence mechanism that men have developed because a slut reduces a mans chance of reproductive success. You get a credible source saying that or it's just evopsych science outta your ass?

What if you don't want kids? Also, do you really have no way to tell if a woman is unlikely to be unfaithful but a study and her N-count? Don't you think you can read the red flags?

"low" means you did not experience enough bodies or fantasies or just sex in general to have a good idea of what you enjoy in sex and how to be good at it. Need to take into account the number of times you had sex too, don't know why people here don't care about this (actually I know but it's too long to explain here). Having sex 30 times total with 5 people gives you more experience than 10 times total with 10. For me I'd say: you stop being "low" after 50 times total, N-count of 5 people. "med…

There's a difference between being cautious on dates (redpillers seem to expect women to be) and being paranoid that everyone is gonna kill you. You are conflicting both intentionally here. Also stop downvoting all my comments it's ridiculous.

1/ Why would you care so much being ghosted after a single date? It's not like you got feelings after one date. 2/ Women are telling you now they're ghosting because of fear of retaliation and you're complaining about your manfeelings got hurt. It does matter up to a point. For example, the more you get involved with a man, the more the odds that he'll try to control you violently (if he is inclined to violent control). Learning to read the red flags can be a matter of survival. Sometimes you don't know you have a controling violent asshole until he's infatuated with you.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/21 05:55 PM

The study says the nature of the violence is not the same. Slaps are violent arguing, women and men do the same amount of it. It's exceedingly rare that this ends up in a death or a serious injury. Domestic terrorism on the other hand is extremely higher for men towards women. Seriously, read the study I linked.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/21 05:53 PM
1

Did you read the study? The nature of the violence itself is different. Women and men initiate small fights the same, men initiate domestic terrorism way more.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/21 05:20 PM

If you are saying you are basing your conclusions on lifetime of deep experience with a vast number of men Problem with that is that everyone think their conclusions are the right one. But we might be agreeing on this.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/21 05:08 PM
1

Most men fight in self defence also That's the opposite of that the study say. And women initiate more Article not available, sadly. Not incompatible with the one I linked, tho. Your girlfriend was a violent asshole and I'm sorry this happened to you. Don't take this wrong, but your gender would have been reversed, your probability of ending up dead would have been higher.

Women are equally likely to initiate "small" violence. A slap, for example. Violence that represent a real danger to the other one - a stalker, an angry murderous ex-boyfriend- are iniated by men more. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2968709/ women and men are equally likely to initiate physical violence in relationships involving less serious “situational couple violence,” and in relationships in which serious and very violent “intimate terrorism” occurs, men are much more likely t…

are they more likely to cheat and divorce? According to a certain study they are. I can't help but think redpillers use this study as a rationalisation because they have other issues with a high n-count (namely, sex is icky). Personally, in the case of dangerous men or high count women, I think most healthy people are able to see the red flags quite fast. It's hard for anyone to hide their red flags for too long. Men and women are equally likely to be violent Do you have a statistic on this? According to redpillers, men are more aggressive because of testosterone. and men, being on average much stronger, are physically able to inflict more violence, when engaging in it. That's a pretty good reason to be careful. Men are more likely to be sanctioned by society for it Pretty sure a murder will land you in jail 99% of the time, woman or man.

A woman comedian once said to imagine I could only date "Lionbears", a mix between a lion and a bear. My degenerate reaction to this: that's hot. Furthermore, don't forget to mention than most of the sperm are actually unable to fertilize the egg. Only "fresh" sperm can do this which is usually a small percentage of the total sperm (depending on your masturbatory frequency). The purpose of "old" sperm is actually to block sperm from other males. Some kind of cockblock, if you will.

Of course one should criticize studies. Preferably, experts should. How weird is it that as soon as a study doesnt go the way they like it, all men here suddenly are research experts in psychology. There is criticizing science for science, and then there is criticizing science cause you don't like it.

As a scientist I need to tell you how research works I actually worked in research thank you. As a scientist I find it Such a weird coincidence that people on this subreddit only dispute the findings of studies (or 4 studies in this case) which results they don't like. Remember, I'm literally quoting the conclusions of the paper here. Look matter but is essentially negligible I know a few women that would agree to disagree (will you say that they just don't know what they actually want ?) unless…

This study does not prove any of that. It simply states the results of the experiment conducted on samples that are unrepresentative of humanity as a whole. That's a very fancy way of saying you just don't believe this study (because of a test sample too low) - yet you have no better proof to bring to the table. Remember it's not one study, it's 4 studies here. And I'm sure you can find more. But dressing it up the premise as science How do you dare bring a scientific study and call it science W…

Very, very few studies in the social sciences can be trusted; and the conclusions drawn from them even less. Yet this is something I read on this subreddit only when people don't like the conclusions. The double standard is staggering.

It is logical as far as I see it. It is not my job to spoil people. Dunno if you studied communication, but the rule number 1 is to be clear - it is the burden of the person talking to make sure they're understood as clearly as possible. Being obscure for the sake of edginess doesn't lead to great places. That's just my advice, in the end you do you.

That doesn’t really qualify you to speak as an authority more than anyone else in here though. True, but apparently there's not so many people with a firm grasp of the scientific logic here Sex is had for procreation. They’re not “loosely linked” at all. So you studied bio-engineering and bacteria? How exactly does that make you qualified to say what you’re claiming in this post? I know basic scientific logic. As other people have said, animals have been biologically engineered to reproduce. That’s one of our main functions besides searching for and digesting food. See part 2. Sex is one of those questionable things that we don’t necessarily “need” to do to continue living individually. However, humans, and particularly male humans, have a stron…

For this case I'll assume it went over your head or you missed it somehow. I said earlier that the fact that humans have developed intelligence to the point of understanding the biomechanics of sex and reproduction, and now know how to have sex while mitigating pregnancy (birth control), in no way detracts from the purpose of copulation, itself. You do know that contraception existed since at least ancient history? A bulimic can eat food and not nourish his/her body or gain weight. But, that in …

When OP says that the red-pill claim is unscientific, I certainly agree, because in that case, indeed, where is their experimental test report? What strikes me, however, is that his refutation does not present any experimental test report either. Hence, his refutation is also unscientific! The OP is no more scientific than his opponent! Procreation is not sex. All animals and almost all humans have sex for the sake of having sex, not for the sake of reproducing. Anyway, the point here is that there is a urge to have sex, and there might be a urge to reproduce, but that doesnt necessarily make it the finality of your life.

I dont know about ancient homonid, first traces go back to recorded times (beginning of history) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_birth_control#Ancient_world What is the purpose of the urge to release your sperm into a female? When I have sex I'm not getting horny because of the fecondation (Althought some people have this specific fetish). I'm getting horny because of the sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/20 03:12 PM

But when they want to have their own biological child and rationalize it with biology/evolution it is 100% OK, because they are right. So you should just not ask yourself any questions, you can just rationalize with the most convenient excuse you find? Again, that's not even the point. Read Edit1. This is about proclaiming that human's life goal is to spread genes. I dont care what people choose to do with their own life.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/20 03:10 PM

Yes, because the attraction is for the act of sex, not gene-spreading. Contraception have been used all through history, btw.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/20 03:07 PM

Desire for sex, OK, most people have it. Desire for spreading your genes: nope. Did you ever wake up with the sudden urge to go masturbate at the sperm bank? But that's the most efficient way to spread your genes.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/20 03:05 PM

So your point is that free will doesnt exist therefore there is no choice to have kids or not? That's quite the nihilistic argument. Althought I dont believe in free will either, it seems like you can just argue this about anything. And it's also out of context. Read the title: "No, biology doesn't say that you "should" reproduce / spread your genes" If there is no free will, there is no should.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/20 03:03 PM

some of them are rationalizing this with evoultion/biology See part 4 of my post. If your logic is "I should do what other humans have done so I'll be happy", it's debatable but acceptable. If your logic is "Biology dictates that spreading my genes is the reason for my existence" then it's wrong. Example in a discussion I had on this thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/PurplePillDebate/comments/k5v1hy/why_are_rpillers_so_negative_towards_men_who/gekhual/?context=3

That's an okay argument, but not the core of my post.

I discussed this exact example in part 2. I agree with what you're saying.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/20 11:52 AM

The point with appealing to nature is about "what works". You're free to try your own ideas, but they are almost certainly unsustainable and will cause misery. I replied to this argument in part 4 of this post.

You can make the argument of "biology makes it so you're happy if you have kids" but it's a whole separate argument from the one I'm criticizing here. This is what I'm explaining in last paragraph of part 4 "Not spreading your genes goes against your biological programming"
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/20 11:14 AM

If you don't reproduce, you die out You die in any cases Nobody cares about philosophy Saying this is a philosophical argument in itself I'd rather serve her than someone who'd prefer to consume and leave no trace after themselves. Then you recognize you see mother nature as a god, which is your right.

it is true your sole purpose I agree with everything you said except the word "purpose" here. You probably mean it the right way, but the point of my whole post is that people are understanding this word in the wrong sense.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/20 11:09 AM
5

and is your only problem in terminology? My problem is people explaining that one's life goal must be passing down genes because biology dictates it, instead of saying "having kids will make you happy so you should have kids". It's not the same thing, and the first one makes no sense but a lot of people seem to believe it.

I agree with this actually.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/20 10:31 AM

Having kids makes one happy because that is fulfilling the biological program. I discussed this point in the OP. Tldr: Maybe, sometimes, but that's not really the original point.

It almost as though your saying no woman Eve feels the desire to be a mother I did not say this and it's not even relevant to the argument. Here's a logical twist for you to ponder, if your argument were correct then why do so many women feel inferior if they are unable to bear a child, That is a psychological question, not a biological one. I have ADHD so I often feel inferior when I cant achieve some easy things. ADHD have a biological explanation but my feeling of inferiority is a psychologic…

We are supposed to do X, Y and Z for fullfilment I already replied to that in the OP. Tldr: it's not always true & it's not even the topic at hand. If your point is that making kids make you happy, EVEN if it was because of your biology, that is still a psychological debate, not a biological one.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/20 10:21 AM

Plus, reproduction is for most the best way to leave a trace. Blessedly few remain historically relevant in perpetuity. I replied to that argument in the OP. I agree with the rest.

I discussed this argument already in the part "Not spreading your genes goes against your biological programming". Tldr: biology doesn't say you SHOULD have kids. If making kids make you happy you should do it, the reasons behind being biological or not are not relevant to the 'should' part.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/20 09:19 AM

But the vast majority of people want sex and that’s absolutely a biological drive linked to reproduction. But 'sex' and 'spreading your genes' are two extremely different things. I probably had sex thousands of times but AFAIK I never spread my genes.

I see what you mean, but the use of the word "purpose" here is incorrect because it's charged with the wrong subcontext. In more rational terms, the only cause for life is life itself.

Saying we're efficient at surviving and reproducing IS the same as saying our purpose is to survive and reproduce. This makes no sense logically. A purpose suppose a conscious, intentional designer, i.e. a god. We are the products of a random series of events that happened with causes, but not with reasons. Therefore we have no purpose. We just are. I think you are still thinking in a religious way but you replaced your interpretation of god by an image of "Nature"/"Evolution". This is your abso…

Should I be happy knowing how my biology works and go directly against it? Saying we are made to propagate is not an opinion or a feeling. Biology doesnt care about feelings because it is outside the realm of feelings - and outside the realm of morals as well. Agree with OP. Men are extremely entitled and do no efforts for their looks. Or to improve themselves in general (with a few exceptions). Some of them go to the gym and that's it. They imagine it to be enough. Meanwhile women are spending time and money on clothes, makeup, do most of the chores and are still expected to go to uni and have a good job.

Men don't even look at pictures before swiping right. I dont know why this "experiment" is being made again and again, it's known that men are less picky than women, and there are good reasons why (and no, it's not all genetics and other evopsych bullshit that redpillers propagate). Imagine being a woman. Most men are stronger than you, they're also often violent / aggressive / entitled. Also more often than not they're sexist which means they (and society as a whole) will think you are a bad pe…

Dick size is -mostly- a power symbol. While I think size do matter to an extent in sex, I'm pretty sure technique is more important, just like culture have more influence over our life than genetics. Big dicks can sometimes be a problem - I have 7.7 inches and it's pretty easy for me to hurt my partner if Im not careful (pushing into the cervix can be painful). It's hard in the middle of the action to be careful. But mostly it's all a power symbol thing. I knew a girl that used to say her boyfri…

It's not nearly as clear cut as you make it sounds to be. Sure, men usually are supposed to take the initiative, because gender norms currently say so. But are most men able to create romance? Most of them can't even deal with their own feelings in a proper way. A lot of them be like "feelings are gay". Most men I saw in shirts can't even wear the right shirt size. Good luck creating a romantic athmosphere when you can't even dress properly. The average guy sucks ass at romance. The average woma…

I hanged out with PUA a lot when I was 20 - was in my own PUA phase. Most people I hanged out with were damn losers - idolizing a few dudes that I sometimes met too and which happened to be losers too. Not all of them, you could met a couple that were just the normal successful guys, but the ones who were actually invested in PUAism, well, those were actually total losers.

Your point was that women are not forgiving of any faults. Poly women are not magically different from monogamous women. This is social cognitive dissonance. See, each and every one of us have values. They are more or less close to the "mainstream values" of our cultures. When the feminists say "Sex is just a nice activity between consensual adults" they express both their personal values and what they want society's values to be like. Problem is that society's values dont change so fast. So there is a cognitive dissonance between what you feel, and what society say you should feel. And it's very hard to stop feel…

How will hiding your feelings make them anxious? Because if they dont know when things are good and when things are bad, how do they know things are not bad right now? Also dont think you can hide completely when you feel bad, sad or angry. If you're living with someone they WILL notice, and if you refuse to acknowledge it they'll think it's because of them. Women don’t want to deal with a man’s emotions. Period. Just like ab/ff this is just true of a minority of low-value women.

I actually feel like in the US the president is closer to a king than anywhere in Europe: In the UK and many countries because they already have a (powerless) royal family. Yeah I agree - I dislike this term as well. What's important is that I am a mostly healthy, well-balanced person with healthy relationships. The rest is masturbation. Because women are still perpetuating gender roles too? No one said women were innocent from sexism. You can be victim and executioner at the same time.

"Biology" say some things but "All of this is biological + there is no way this can be overturned by environmental conditions + that's the way it should be" That's three questions that biology doesnt reply to. The redpill interpretation of biology is quite a stretch, to be nice.

Ill agree that we are not there yet, but the progress that was made in only a short 100 years is tremendous. I find the perspective of a world were anyone can do whatever they want with no judgement just amazing. It will also help with men-specific issues. I cant count how many times I saw dudes refuse to manage their mental health.

I didnt invent this fact. I posted a study the other day. Again, women are not exercising in gyms, they're going to pilates, yoga, dance class, swimming pool ect.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/20 08:00 PM
2

There is nothing genetic about that I 100% agree. I personally think the straight male culture is to blame, where "self care" is seen as gay / weak / girly. There is also a sense of entitlement for the women's bodies. Gays dont have this culture.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/20 07:53 PM

I actually observe it changing a lot nowadays. Seems like gender roles are being transformed and I think that's for the best. There is still some way to go before being a househusband is 100% a socially respectable profession tho.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/20 07:52 PM
7

Then this would reflect in a significant gap obesity/obese rates between men and women. I gave you a biological fact. This proves that women are being more careful than men, sincd it's harder for them to not be fat yet they arent as fat as men. Also when I go to the gym it’s 80% men and all the weights You dont go to pilates, yoga, dance class ect. Of course for a traditionally manly sport you gonna see mostly men like you.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/20 07:50 PM

That's why we need feminism to keep changing those annoying gender roles. More and more women are happy to have househusbands nowadays.

Women are not great but by all metrics they take better care of their bodies than men. They exercise more, for one. Losing weight is also easier for men (hello testosterone)

There are more ways than makeup but yeah it doesnt last, it's a constant effort that women do.

My point is you are making "biology" say a lot here, with no clear scientific base. I posted a thread here explaining how a lot of people here assume a lot by "biology" but there are multiple reasons why it's really not as clear cut as you make it sound to be. For one, biology doesnt weight in in the nature vs nurture debate.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/20 06:57 PM

They dont need you to bring the bread. And yet they still demand men do A lot of women are okay with having a husband at home. Feminism is trying to normalize different life choices.

You can make people attracted to you. I know because I did. And even if you couldnt, you can still increase your physical attractiveness. Edit: but making friend is useless tho. No one will be atttacted to you because of friendship.

Flirting does not require charisma if she is actually attracted to you. Charisma increase the chances she's attracted to you. Women pretty much do have analyzers in their brains. It is subconscious but they are walking around like the Terminator analyzing guys. Do you have female friends? You seem to have a weird vision of women

Every relationship has a different power dynamic. Men and women do not value the same things. We arrive in a time where women have jobs and can be independant. They dont need you to bring the bread. And they have a choice of partners. So if you wanna be fucked, you kinda have to be fuckable now. Just marrying young to the farmer's daughter isn't enough.

Yet if I someone says something about men being less attractive than women, it's not cuz of beauty standards but actually cuz men are stupid lazy slobs. You have a point here: since we've been objectifying women's body so much, society have become aphrodist. Yeah and women dont care about their appearance at all /s Women spend tons in makeup and haircuts and clothes. While also having 90% of eating disorders (eating disorders are what happen when you care too much about your appearance). Lots of men believe you just need some muscles and that's all. And going to the gym is nice but it's really not all you need. Why even complain about high standards? That push you to be the best version of yourself. Which should be more important than having sex, bu…

Believing in lookism (discrimination by looks) is not a pill thing. Even feminists talk about it. It's just scientific facts. Like Im clearly feminist side but I do believe looks are damn important. It's really not dismal at all. I'm attractive but nowhere Chad levels and I'm doing great. My genetics aren't better than most people. I used to be a redpiller, got moderate success, then I left the redpill because good advice comes with a LOT of bullshit, and I got even more success. The problem is not that women are picky, the problem is most men I know are incredibly not attractive. So your point apply to both men and women but for some reason you make it about women? Why? If I say "I met Julian and George, and george was TERRIBLE" you assume that Julian is not terrible, or you would have said "and both were TERRIBLE". Just as male breadwinning has remained important for marriage formation (Sweeney 2002), the results here demonstrate its enduring importance for marital stability. The results are consistent with claims that breadwinning remains a central component of the marital contract for husbands (Nock 1998). So the researcher clearly state gender expectations at at fault, and the study doesn't include "stay at home dads". He also states that women's financial independance did not increase divorce rates. So the choice communism vs capitalism is not a political choice? Or even capitalism vs feodalism? Your argument with videogames is very weird. World of Warcraft developers decided to include elements that led the game to have an economy a certain way. It's not political because no one got to decide other than the game designers. If the set of economical rules in world of warcraft could have been voted on by the players, then yes it would have been (in-game) politics.

Economic Concepts are neutral too. Technology/science is not intrinsically political. A financial system is entirely political, and politics are anything but neutral. They are literally what decide your life conditions or even if you have a right to live. Your argument is senseless. Well this is because doctors used to be male and nurses female. Now females outnumber males in med/dental school so I'm sure there will be a shift naturally. Indeed, but before that shift happen (it's happening but change takes time) a male doctor will still be seen as more trustworthy. Should we be encouraging men to apply more to med/dental school so the future of healthcare isn't female, or do you think this is a non issue. It would be an issue if there was no equivalent job (in term of high …

Can you respond to the Gen Z part, I'm curious to hear your thoughts on that I kinda agree but I dont know enough about gen Z to have a strong enlightened opinion on it. I will make a mental note to read about it later. And yeah biases exist, but what can we do to fix that? Is it even possible for us to be unbiased? Excellent point, biases are natural and hard to get rid of. But there are ways to reduce (and even delete) biases that are hurtful to a group or population. For example, it seems tha…

That's the nature of capitalism isn't it? You're only gonna get paid based on how cheap you are to replace. If your output can be achieved by paying some other guy half as much, then you're getting canned. A CEO gets paid millions because of the value he provides to the company, a CEO is not easy to replace. I mean you are right in principle. If everyone was 100% rational and always had 100% of the correct information, then this principle would work very well. I just dont think that is the case.…

In capitalist US, I believe people are paid based on how much they are worth (how cheap they are to replace). I don’t think sex plays much of a role I respect your opinion but I really think it's beyond wishful thinking to think that people are in any way shape or form paid after their actual worth. If anything, there's a huge difference between actual worth and displayed worth. And controlled studies do show that people consider women's performance to be less than those of men, even when they p…

Most of our jobs today is in the third sector & service industry. Women seem to be better at communicating, empathy, and have better results in college. So it would seem like they could be the better one at those jobs. But that's just wild speculations. The simple & proven truth is that women have a gender role that is not equal to the masculine gender role. This do mean they will go for less high paid positions, but also that they will be considered less for said positions. It really goes both …

So can we use the same reasons as to why the wage gap is a myth? "It's the fault of ugly people that they choose less high-paid positions" "It's the fault of ugly people, they just don't negotiate their salary as well as attractive people" But in all seriousness this time, it's probably something like this. Ugly people are victims of lookism just like women are victims of sexism, which destroy your self-confidence and your credibility. Thus, it's more difficult to negotiate a salary. This study …

Read the OP, Im talking about fat in general. The topic is beauty norms throught the ages. Prehistoric times are just a part or it. https://link.springer.com/chapter/10.1007/978-1-4613-8300-0_3 Historically, obesity in women has not been considered undesirable but rather beauteous especially in cultures where there is a shortage of food.

one of those hypothesis is that those sculptures were made by women sculpting their own bodies, and as they didn’t have mirrors it is proportions is based on an distorted point of view of themselves. "One of the hypothesis" yet the one you're choosing... This kinda validates the point of this post: redpillers loves to cherry-pick . I do think you can tell someone's values quite easily. Almost everyone pick up on small signs that betray someone's intentions. When you dont consciously recognize the signs then you pick them up subconsciously and your "intuition" tells you something is off. But you can train to analyze those small signs consciously. I trained a few years on cold reading, hypnosis, bodylanguage reading ect, and I have a strong empathy, so I became quite good at it. It is extremely rare that someone manage to su…

I'm saying a lot of red/blackpillers use science badly to justify their opinions. Again, it's the actual title of the post. The alpha wolf is an extreme example were the creator of the concept had to step in and tell people to stop using his concept badly. No need to argue about the science itself here, we argue about interpretations.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/20 02:03 PM
1

It is what you are implying Then let me clarify: some species work with a dominant alpha hierarchy, some do not. Why would what some scientist says about wolves have anything to do with primates? Some primates have dominant alphas (gorillas) who have exclusive access to sex, others do not (or at the very least, not in the way redpillers understands it). https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/europe/alpha-male-alpha-chimpanzee-primatologist-frans-de-waal-a8421291.html

I did not say this at all. I'm saying you can't apply it copy-pasted from animals to humans - and invent your own conclusions from there. Edit: Also, pack of wolves don't work with a dominant alpha system, according to the expert.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/20 01:39 PM

You are still implying a lot of things here, thought. For example, you are implying all women love dominant men, or that they like only dominant men. I'm sure there is a grayer area somewhere around there. I think what the bluepill doesnt like about the redpill is not men trying to look hotter and more confident, which is almost always good and sexy; it's rather all the bundled bullshit that comes with it. I read more than once you should never cry in front of your wife, that's toxic shit.

Double standards, much? Nope, I 100% agree with you there, you are making a very good argument about height, and I did read some studies that confirms it. Same for women being small: genetically women are supposed to be same height as men. But men socially like small women and women tall men.

its blue pillers standardising the beauty norms for men (tall, dark and handsome) Is it now? But feminists (so bluepill side) are the ones saying all types of body should be valorized, aren't they? And for both genders. So, basically, the opposite of what the red pill's saying.

It does depend on circumstances... Aka the environment and the culture. It is crazy how fast those can evolve. Tanned skin used to be considered ugly, until about 70 years ago. Men are murdered much more often in general. That's actually not so true anymore, althought it was 20 years ago. The murder rate for men got dramatically smaller in the last 20 years. In 2013 it was 75% of male victims - 25% female. - althought the difference probably kept declining since. 90% of murderers are male.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/20 04:21 PM

Like does that mean people fundamentally changed? Society changed, which changed the environment of people, which changed people. I'm sure if you check how big the N-count lie is, it would be smaller now than 10, 50 or 200 years ago.

There are historic reasons. Same with religion. There are a lot of religious people for historic reasons. Change takes time. But that doesnt make god real.

A is almost true. Most people are insecure and misogynistic. Most men and most women. If you're a heterosexual woman your biggest issue is not with random women tho, it is with your male partner. You know, the one that is usually responsible for the absurdly high murder rate of women. 50% of women victims of homicide are killed by their partners vs 6% of men.

https://www.unifiedlawyers.com.au/blog/global-divorce-rates-statistics/ France 55% vs USA 46% But it's not actually useful for my point that this is true or not. You can categorize women in any way you want and you will often find one category more prone to divorce than another, especially if you divide along a cultural line.

That argument is such bullshit. European women (let's say french) are more likely to divorce yet I see no one advising to avoid relationships with french women. This is just the typical excuse to not tell the truth: that men here are big boy virgins that think sex is icky.

I don't understand how you can say this, when the study we are currently discussing actively say the opposite. 1/ The study says the only thing that increased is 6 to 12% of men didnt had sex in the last year The ratio of virgin males is between 2% and 6% depending on your education level, with higher education getting less sex. So nowhere close to 30%. 2/ This trend did not change recently with the arrival of tinder / online dating, as incels say it did : Measuring the number of partners instea…

Ill read the study but I really wish you would have one from another source, I already read from the Institute for Family Study and they're a christian conservative propaganda machine. Edit: so basically they say 20% of men AND ALSO WOMEN have 50-60% of the sex with the opposite gender. That doesnt fit the incel narrative at all. Also I love how they turn the study to prove "people should get married earlier", thats such bullshit
/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/20 11:49 AM

The "all women are fucking chad" is a gross exageration. The average man have a higher n count than the average woman. Although Ill admit that it doesnt take into account the variance. The truth is most normies have no issue dating. It's hard for the shy/awkward portion of men, which I used to be in, then I got out.

Rodger is not attractive because he looks like a psychopath - but physically his face is quite pretty, if you remove the murderous look. It's very possible that a lot of incels have mental issues. I have some too, I'm ADHD (confirmed) and maybe autism (non confirmed). I had to read a bunch of books to learn how to communicate with people. I'll agree that mental health should be taken more seriously everywhere

Redpill only works for attractive people, so you are probably attractive, there is no other way. I keep saying that elliott rodger was actually attractive. My female friends agree. Only incels disagree, weirdly.

nothing else besides looksmaxing matters That is definitely not true either. I saw ugly guys get girls instead of hot dudes at parties just because they were smooth / charming. I saw my own success with women increase dramatically as I matured and grew older and wiser. Women care about looks - and it definitely matters more on Tinder, which is why I…

If anything, it inspired me to be better. Did it? One of the principles of the blackpill (correct me if im wrong) is "You're no Chad if you're here, so it's over for you, don't bother trying" Isnt this core to the Incel ideology?

It's not only that. They also recognize that they cant ever be lusted after or improve. But look at elliot rodger, he was smoking hot. How do people like that become incels? The thing is, I completely agree on the parts that the redpill proved with actual data (women caring more on average about the man money than the opposite) Heck, feminists agree too. The difference is just "Is it a natural or cultural thing" and "is it something good or should we change it" And those are vastly more complicated than people from the redpill seems to understand. Again, where is your data ? You write long sentences but you dont have anything to bring on the table. Redpillers on this thread gave me psychological studies and I gladly accepted them. You just write long prose hoping to persuade but it's all coming from your limited experience, not from actual data. I could do the same from my own experience and it would not convince you either.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/20 06:59 PM

Well do you have any data to back up your claims? Because all you're doing right now is saying "this study I dont like BAD, this other stat I like and I will interpret it as I please!" So your last sentence about the addicted or the converted sounds like you're projecting.

Of course personality is important. Do you imagine that women jerking off to porn are fantasizing about the huge bank account of the porn actors? Also there is actually a huge trend of 40+ women dating 20-something men. A a previous scientist, I am 100% certain that results said "empirical" means they were not the result of a controlled experiment. It is probably just a definition VS use issue, just as when I ask how much you weight you wont reply literally by "how many newtons you are attracted to the earth", but you'll reply with your mass.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/20 01:38 PM

Yes, I used to be a scientist. "Empirical results" is a term used when the observation was made from the field, or guessed from what seems to transpire from some other experiment; as opposed to results from an experiment that have been carefully controlled in a lab setting. Mind you I'm french, so maybe the words have a slightly different nuance in english.

Are you talking about ethical non-monogamy such as polyamory? IF both parties want to live as polyamorists, it's a great lifestyle. It adds some challenges, but it also remove a lot of problems that monogamy have. It's a tradeoff that can work very well for some people. I was never happy as a monogamist, so it just made sense to me to have poly relationships. I tried monogamy for 4 years then poly for 10 years and it's clear I'm never coming back to mono. I wouldn't say it's for everyone, though…

I actually agree with 95% of what you said, yet I dont seem to take the same conclusions from it since my ideology would probably be considered more bluepill than redpill. See, how do you go from what you said ("cheating at your job can help in life, you need a compatible relationship") to "feminists are evil women pushing an agenda to castrate all men" ?

On exalte c…

Would you classify "Looks, money and status matter, but not that much, and other stuff matters too" as wishful thinking / bluepill?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/20 02:35 PM

Can't there be a nuance ? I disagree with black or redpill (althought I was redpill 15 years ago) but I would never say that looks dont matter. Looks matter a lot. I'm pretty sure a lot of self-claimed bluepillers agree. But they wont agree if you say it's everything.

"I'll find a lucky woman to worship and sacrifice everything for her and she'll be loyal and we'll live happily ever after." If I dont subscribe to this ideology, yet am against red/black pill, am I bluepill?

They have zero interest in "serving" in the army. All they wanted was benefits and free college and sitting behind a desk pretending to play soldier. Source? So women and their whining about voting, to push global socialism, got it what, one year after men did? By lying about it? What? Yeah all of endocrinology plays a role into natural selection, also most biology. You are derailing the topic. My question was: do bluepillers actually deny natural selection? As in, are they refuting darwin's hypothesis, or doing anything similar? If yes, how?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/20 12:59 PM

That would be true if laws actually translated into actions. So your point I guess is that feminist litterature is hypocritical compared to feminist actions? Do you have an example of feminist action that intend to promote female worship?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/20 12:57 PM

I really dont think bluepillers or feminists idealize women. It's actually a central point of feminism that worshipping women is bad because it inevitably leads to women oppression, and that women should be treated as human just like men.

Yeah there are horror stories about poly/mono all over the spectrum. I saw a lot of shitty guys & gals use it as a tool for manipulative or abusive behavior. One thing I learnt for sure is that the only way a relationship last is if both the partners decide for themselves that they want for themselves to be poly or mono. "Trying" to be something for someone else never works. Personally I got burnt more than once by being in relationships with monogamous people who wanted to try poly. Never again…

So while I'll agree it's not for everyone, my 10+ years of polyamory have been very different from what TRP/MGTOW and such are describing. In most of those relationships (from the top of my head Id say 90%), I systematically had more casual sex or partners than my partners. The thing is, the women I date (and I think most women) are just too busy with their everyday life to lust after "chad's cock". They're already busy between me, their careers, studies, and hobbies. Having more partners, while not necessarily increasing a mans SMV, at least indicates I high SMV, while having more partners does decrease a womans perceived SMV But when you say "sluts" you mean "all sluts" not just "low-market-value sluts". What about high-SMV sluts? Also called "hot sluts" Also, does this mean you "like" someone depending on their sexual market value?

I still cant wrap my head around the fact that men here dislike sluts. I'm a man and I just love promiscuous women. I love sex with women so I love women who love sex. I dont know what's the problem with that. I dont dislike butchers just because I dont eat meat. Discussions about "personal responsabilities" Id say are another topic, more of a left vs right thing. except we are not having this discussion in the manopshere aren't we? At least I don't consider PPD to be part of the manosphere. PPD is half manosphere half not In that cause we should discuss the truth about why these men have anxieties, and that's because the application of the law is unjust and most often then not bias toward the female. That's really not the goal of this post but feel free to create another one to discuss that other topic.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/20 06:09 PM

The goal of my post was to stop people from spreading more disinformation ? I see so many people spreading fake news here it's worrying as fuck. Edit: to reply to the last part of your post, men who do this in the manosphere are not ridiculed since this is the manosphere main discourse.

Some people need guarantees, and a prenup is not a guarantee. It is as much a guarantee as any contract. You can argue that a contract is not a guarantee indeed, nothing is ever guaranteed in life. Well that's the thing, the way the law evolves and figures out what constitutes "fairly" is by throwing out prenups that were deemed unfair, among other things Everyone here keep implying the woman can just nicely ask the judge to waive the prenup and the judge will agree, but facts show that is simpl…

I seriously doubt the absence of an attorney is the only factor a judge would need to overthrow a contract. I'm not saying you're lying but maybe you're missing some key elements. Sounds like you were a kid when it happened. If your mom was driving a fancy car and wasnt feeding you, she sure is a bitch. But I'm surprised if your mom wasnt feeding you, that your dad would not contact the child protection services.

That just 10% of prenups are considered null without a good proof in your legal system I'm pretty sure in the USA and in Europe that's not 10%, but way, way less. Remember, it is a contract like any others. I can't pretend to know the legal system everywhere, so I can't argue your points for Brazil, but most of the people on this sub are from the USA or Europe, and I read so many times that "prenups are useless" when it's basically a myth and a lie. The problem is how broad “coercion to sign” or “misinformation” can be extrapolated into being. To the point where, yeah, they really aren’t worth much as a defense. You keep saying that, but it never appears to be true. In the case you linked, the OP wrote the prenup himself (ugh) and included a clause to waive child support. What the effing fuck ? Who does that? Of course that can't be hold in front of a judge. As a said, take an attorney and notarize the prenup !

For us the most important was: Great tax breaks Immigration issues: I'm european, my wife is not. If she gets fired and we're not married she can be deported. Inheritance: I come from a shit family, I have no kids and I dont want any. If I die, all my money goes back to my parents. I want my money to go to my partner instead, for she is my true fa…

Marriage is simply IMHO romanticized and reified, when it should be fairly simple: The government thinks the country have things to gain if you form a partnership with someone else (I think it's bullshit but whatev) Therefore you get legal benefits from this partnership You sign a contract with your partner to legally bind the partnership Prenups make total sense if you consider marriage like what it is: as a legal contract. I'm very glad I married my wife, not because I love her (I don't need a…

You cut the quote too short: As It turns out, an airtight prenup is exceedingly rare. There are a number of factors that can result in a judge overturning a prenuptial agreement, but reaching that point is difficult. I also edited the OP to add this: I realize that lawyers will say on their websites that "they can easily break a prenup" - that is advertisement. Of course they want people to hire them. Please don't use advertisement as a source.

I never said non monogamy made you happier. The title of this post is: "non monogamous are as happy or happier than monogamous people" - where did I ever imply a causation? Sidenote: On the other hand, I started a thread on this subreddit a few days ago about promiscuous women. People kept linking a study showing that women with high n-count have slightly bigger divorce rates - and they don't hesitate one second to clearly say it's a direct cause. I agree with you that this should not be done. A…

What is absurd to me is the typical mans reponse to our changing norms which is to seek multiple sexual encouters, often discreetly and therfore non consentually, including during marriage yet demand loyalty and "purity" from their long term partners. I don't treat people as object, I merely used a metaphor to explain why having sex with new people, or a variety of people, feels new and interesting to me. I personally dont think sex is degrading. You're being disingenuous here. If they exhibited traits that showed a problem with mental illness, of course. The study says there is correlation between high n count and mental illness. The reality is that women can always sleep with a man better than the man she can get a relationship with. What decides whether she will or not is her willingness to have casual sex, her N-count. Nothing else can decide on this?

When your skin tears it does not close back up completely. This is why stitches are needed to hold the skin together If you have such violent sex that your vagina require stitches, well, I do think that's a problem. I litterally never heard of it happening, though. Even regular vaginal tears are quite rare, especially if you use lube (like you should, dry sex isnt good). So your point is that a man needs high qualities to have a successful sex life but a woman does not? So do you mean men with high N-count are better long term partners? I know and understand this metaphor pretty well, thank you. My issue with this metaphor is that it secretly implies lots of untold principles. You can't assume this. Someone may not show any symptoms and can still have a disease without knowing about it. Before losing the condom, responsible people do tests. Past behavior is an indicator of how a person is likely to behave in the future. I didnt said the woman cheated. I said she has high n-count (might be casual sex). Dont you think it is possible a woman have casual sex because she can, but then stops when she have a reason to stop (such as a serious relationship)?

I actually took it as an example because it is fairly vanilla act I understood this, this was an example for my comment too I don't infer anything else without getting to know her better So should I conclude from this that her N-count is not a problem for you, but you would still take notice of specifics about it, such as the kind of sex acts she practiced? Therefore you can check that she is as interested in you as she was in her previous casual or serious relationships?

• Yes. However, if I found out later on her past is promiscuous I bail straight away. I used to feel hostile towards minorities, having grown into a religious racist right-wing family. I am glad today I can see non-white people as equal humans. I think purging my racism by deconstructing the fondamental reasons of my feelings was a good choice for my life. Don't you think it is important to know if our feelings make sense?

Sex can indeed be used as a self-destructive tool. But so does any addictive disorder, for example someone addicted to work or addicted to microtransactions in videogames. This does not mean working or playing "fall guys" makes you inadequate, you can do those things in a healthy way, just like sex (or do you disagree with this point?) Let's assume for the question you meet a woman with a high n-count but that did not use sex as a self-destructive mechanism. Would you have a problem with that an…

Thank you I understand better ! So, just one point that is not clear to me : Knowing her history, or her baseline behavior, and then comparing it with her behavior in your relationship is probably the best way to determine her amount of investment in you What conclusions do you infer from someone who had a lot of casual sex before you ? Assume all other factors being equal (she swallow both her ex and you)

Of course this if your option and your preference, everyone is entitled to their own choices of partners. I just struggle to understand how your feelings are logically consistent. But it seems like you struggle about this too. You can of course choose to dig the question deeper or just to stop replying to this discussion.

I'll ask you what I asked another redditor: Let's say women from Europe also have a higher rate of infidelity or divorce. Would you refuse to date one ? Would you seek mostly traditionnal religious wifes who might have lower infidelity / divorce ratio?

Thanks for your reply, however I really prefer to discuss beliefs with people who actually hold them.

will compare me to past partners Is this a problem? Due to evolution [...] I can't explain it but its like its programmed in me I'm sorry, I don't think this is very credible. These feelings are shared in the majority of men not just me. If this was due to evolution, this should be all males, wouldnt it ?

Full disclosure: I might be stupid today, I'm still hungover from yesterday. That being said, I carefully read your comment multiple times and I dont really understand what you're saying. From what I understand in signalling theory, a honest signal is "a sign that carries true information about the signaller". How is sex an honest signal? What information does it carry? Or do I misunderstand? So, if a girl has less sex/worse sex/she isn't willing to do stuff for her guy she was willing to do in …

Let's put aside the "higher chance of infidelity" since other commentators already mentioned it; Can you elaborate about "she wont be able to pair bond with you on a deeper level" ? What makes you think the bedroom will be colder?

Do you think women cant have had a lot of casual sex yet value a relationship seriously ?

Can you elaborate, as the OP intended, without metaphors please?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
