My girl and I have been together for nearly 3 years and we mostly split shit. Bills are split down the middle, groceries are split down the middle unless one person buys something that both aren't using (I'm not going to ask for her to pay for part of my whey protein), and when it comes to dining, we split unless one of us is feeling generous. With that, usually if one person pays for lunch, the other will pay for dinner or drinks. It works out great.

Ooohhhhh, I remember swearing in front of one of my female coworkers once (there was a group of people that I was talking to), and she literally grabbed my arm and asked, "didn't your mother teach you that you're not supposed to curse in front of a lady?" A girl that I dated explained this to me. She lived in a household of mainly girls/women and there were multiple bathrooms in the house. Only hee and her sister used their bathroom, therefore the seat was always down. It was a bit of a shock when she stayed with me and went to the bathroom in the middle of the night, and didn't check to see if the seat was down or up and fell in.
