As much as I can remember I can't even think of a time when I even noticed someone was alone. If I ever saw someone by themselves I would have assumed their friends were in the bathroom or something if I even noticed at all. Because at College it was, if you showed up to a local bar alone people always assumed something was wrong with you and because everyone else traveled in groups they weren't looking to meet new people. But this isn't college anymore so I will try to force myself to overcome the trepidation and just go for it. I don't know where people my age (early 20's) hang out, most of the bars around me are populated by middle aged people.
