Yes please! Actually, we've put a lot of work into making it well designed. In a way, it's a deck full of openers, which a lot of people have trouble coming up with. Also, making a card game is expensive! It's only cost-effective when we are able to print a couple hundred sets at a a time. We're not asking for 10k for a single copy; we're drumming up interest so we can print in bulk and get copies to a couple hundred people. 10k is actually sort of a break-even point, and we won't be pocketing v…

Yeah, and even with the legal recourse of saying we have evidence we made it first, they have the legal settlement fees to make it not even worth fighting. That said, I think that may be the case with anything one tries to create, and while it's risky to put ourselves out there, it's also a platform where we have the opportunity to raise money and make something cool happen. Thanks for your support--if you back the project, we've already shared a full prototype that you can print and play tonigh…

Good luck! I think (formally defined, system-based) games are a really powerful way to teach us to move past internalized anxieties.

Disclosure: I'm one of the designers of this game. Always considered myself shy, and the seddit community has provided me a lot of inspiration for social self improvement. Stranger Danger was created as a game that encourages approaching people you don't know. While we were playing, we discovered that after just a few rounds, it does wonders for calibrating ways to approach people--how aggressive to be, how to disarm people. It really illustrated for me that approach anxiety is totally internal;…

I do pretty well physically - not enough for girls to throw themselves at me but easily above average - and I realized a little while back that I wasn't being put in the friendzone, I was putting myself in the friendzone by not being attractive enough. I couldn't admit that women wanted something more, and I couldn't commit to the persona that was required. Ultimately I came to understand that you need to take responsibility for the way people perceive you; there are consequences to the way you …

Which part of the 'underlying theory' are you referencing?

Obviously. My point was that people, myself included, come into pickup thinking that reading the material and applying the techniques means you'll start getting laid all the time.

Uh, it's awesome if they don't turn into casual sex?

barely see a girl there alone, and I do not have the balls yet to go up to a group of girls This is the problem. If you read a bit more seddit/pickup material, you'll find that the whole point is getting out of your comfort zone and learning to deal with the fear. You don't have the balls? Then don't ask to find a shortcut, look for ways to get the balls. Make small talk with random strangers on the street, in lines. Say something completely random to a girl in a coffee shop - you don't have to …

You don't sound particularly unique as far as AFCs go. Chin up, man - you're in pretty much the same place that everyone starts. If you're here, you've made the first step to wanting to get better, so put some time into it, practice, and you'll improve.

Heh, I saw the same thing when I read the OP, but top comment makes it obvious it was about the girl talking to someone else on the phone while they're on a date.

I think that may be why Game techniques are extremely important for some people. I take pretty good care of myself but I had extremely low confidence and I had a terrible time meeting women. Principles here help us learn how to decode some of the signs we're getting and give us a foundation for how to react to them, and with that I've become a lot better at social situations and internalizing an acceptance of rejection/perceived rejection.

Well, the seduction community tends to talk about ways to build attraction and close fast. There are lots of places where you can read about how the friend zone works but the idea is that if you don't make your intentions clear early on, you're going to fall into the friend zone unless you have a really good frame and manage to be an attractive person and keep up the sexual tension constantly. There is no reason for you to wait 2 to 3 weeks though; if you think she's into you and you already hav…

I think the issue that a lot of people are having with you isn't about your question but about who you are and how you ask it. Hear me out. While your question is completely valid, you open the discussion with an indication that your understanding of pickup is extremely shallow, that you've skimmed the surface, that you recognize the methods and techniques, but that you haven't put them in practice or seen the real benefits (aside from sex). Furthermore you probably haven't read the dozens of ot…

I expect to see this guy in a club overdressed in baggy clothing, with an unhealthy pallor, with a frown and crying openly. Alpha as fuck.

What are these long-term valuable traits you're looking for? Are they generally in light with the things in 3) and 4), and can you refine or add any more to what was listed?

No we don't, we need to go out and large more, and write our own FRs.

Of course not. There's a [rule](en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Half-age-plus-seven-relationship-rule.svg?wasRedirected=true) for these things if you bothered to look.
