Compare quality, I usually have around 3 plates available, if a new one , of better quality (hotter, prettier, more enjoyable, funnier) comes around, then I start dissing the one that means the least. A few weeks ago, I had this new amazingly hot plate, but she had a lame personality, and was going too strong on me, so I had to let it go. Listening to music has cultural value as well, imagine being all fucking Marck Corrigan while discussing music with someone. Having your favorite songs, favorite bands and talking about them gives you identity. Eating sugar or masturbating doesn't.
