I misread that line as "I won't work out"

Yeah the math on that is insane to think about. Two new people (at least) every week. It's almost impressive in a bizarre way.

If you're a 40yo woman, the boat hasn't just sailed, it's gone around the world and come back with exotic spices.

In the real world, no one cares about these kinds of reddit opinions fwiw. If you focus on improving yourself for a fucking long time things will usually work out. You just need to be smart about what you really want and push for it relentlessly - if the standards of women are bullshit high then you need to reach them anyway.

Had bad relationships and wants a better one but has no idea how to advertise that. Being a women past the wall would absolutely suck.

The real transition the article misses is the invention of birth control.

Details which are very important are missing.

Solid advice by her btw. She was tactful but laid it out very well imho.

Being hot and crazy can be attractive, but it's the 'hot' part, not the 'crazy' part, which allows it to work.

She has her children already so whatever. She has to deal with the cards she has now but better than to not have any, I'd think.

To be fair to her, it could have easily been only a few LTRs

There's too many details missing for someone to give you solid advice. Don't use statistics alone to make such a big call.

Everyone I know who has had a tattoo has suddenly decided that they want more at some point. Just an interesting aside.

Some are willfully delusional but at the same time I feel for those who were conned by society and didn't know any better until it was too late.

I just go on here to remind myself that I still can feel empathy for people who've obviously fucked up their lives by stullting around. There are plenty of lolcow women to have a laugh at that make it fun too though ;)

For so many men this is an instant hard pass, not merely a red flag. It's not like there aren't people out there willing to date single parents, but usually those are also single parents (or guys just looking for a quick root).
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen23/01/20 07:07 AM

As long as you're paying rent to your parents and helping out around the house or some fair exchange of those, and saving hard to move out. Living at my parents' house by 25 was too much for my sense of being a burden so I moved out and now we're on great terms even though things weren't exactly bad between us all before. It's worth it. Work towards independence!

100% that it can take one miscalculation or even the slightest oddity to end things, but amusingly major errors can sometimes go completely unchecked. Like strolling through a minefield where not every bomb is active. Dating is so fun!

We're all human, women want to have sex and meaningful lives too, and putting someone on a pedestal will never result in a healthy relationship. This guy seems like he's worked things out a little and good for him.

When it comes down to that sort of standing up for yourself against an entire civilisation in collapse, you need to pick a hill you're willing to die on. It's no small thing.

Interesting to see someone posit the flip side of degeneracy. Use the morals you still have or what's left of them.

Aren't the chances of genetic deformity basically on par with incest babies once the mother is over about 35?

This is potentially character development. I'd certainly give someone like that a chance. She's had an ephiphany 8 years earlier than most (or at least pretends to) and that's something.

Why ask four questions at once if you intend for any of them to be answered?
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen23/12/18 07:36 AM

Nothing chameleon about them discussing what they want openly and honestly. It might not be what anyone wants to see but it isn't dishonest, though its payoff might be.

NGL I'm pretty sure I've gotten laid before purely out of being a tall guy. Feels bad how unfair it is but not going to scorn good fortune.

Have been friends with a woman I slept with. It's a dynamic that can work but you need to understand that you're not on her radar and to go for someone else.
