I do this. Not all the time, but every once in a while I catch myself out at a bar or a party and I'm just kinda feeling "meh". I'll be not talking to people, or if I am talking, just to fill the silence. I take myself out of the situation and challenge myself, "I bet you can't talk to x person" or "You probably don't have the confidence to dance" ect. That usually is enough to get the ball rolling, once I get over the initial slump I'm back in the groove. Might not work for everyone, I know mys…

There are times when I lie and I don't know why I'm lying and don't like it. However, there are times when being good at lying is useful and I enjoy it. Women seem to find dark triad traits attractive, so I was very unapologetic and proud of my lying to this specific girl in this specific instance. It's a tool. Tools are Amoral, it's not until you apply them that they become good/bad.

Normally, that's what it feels like, like I'd be playing a character that's the "Alpha" version of me. Last weekend it didn't really feel like that, I just kind of "did" without actively thinking about it.

Wait seriously? You're telling me some divorce raping bitch could halt the single most stalwart force in green and sustainable energy along with space exploration? Can we charge with woman with crimes against humanity?

I think it's for the guys, if he's divorced that might make him seem like he's already been broken by a woman and less threatening to other dudes in the office.

I've tried the reverse beta game. It usually involves acting like someone who comes from ludicrous amounts of money and is somewhat aloof to what life is like if you don't have ludicrous amounts of money. I usually use the cover that I'm an heir to an oil family. I usually only do this on vacation or when I'm visiting a friend in a different city and masquerade as a spoiled rich college kid. It tends to attract other spoiled princesses who come from lots of money, or at least pretend to. It can …

Could a veteran tripper explain the differences in experience between mushrooms and LSD? I have always been fascinated by psychedelics as a concept, but never had a burning desire to try them before.

Wow that dance was actually really memorizing.

I agree with you. I used to truly not give a single fuck about what other people thought. However last year when I was diagnosed with depression, I found one of the main reasons I was caught in my downward spiral was because I started to care about what people thought again. I don't know why I just cared again. Not giving a shit about others' thoughts of me is my main obstacle to happiness and success in life. I don't know why I started to stop caring in the first place, and I don't know why I s…

I'm approaching the "I'm too old for this shit, time to get a real job," age really quick, I think this might be my last summer. However everyone who has ever left to go into the real world tells me, "stay as long as you can, you have your whole life to make money behind a desk."

I'm in college and I think my biggest detractor to me really enjoying my experience is this goddamn PC culture. Whenever I'm in class and I hear some white knight or ultra progressive chick mention something excessively blue pill, uniformed or just plain dumb it makes my skin boil. I understand it's dumb to look down on these dipshits for their views, they can't help themselves, they've been socialized to believe that is "moral" or "right". Still, it throws me back into an anger phase and I focu…

Some people seem to find this hard to believe, I went to a summer camp in Wisconsin as a kid, and currently still work as a counselor and have been for the past four summers. This all sounds like par for the course. Most summer camps are like sexual playgrounds. When you spend everyday cut off from the rest of the world with a staff for a few months at a time, weird things tend to happen. People have needs, and within a two weeks or so with new staff it always divulges into a fuckfest. The older…

Nothing substitutes bettering yourself. I'm not saying don't take these drugs (it's your body pollute it with 15 beers or a bunch stims take your pick) but before you even consider doing any of that, lift, read and experience. If you're a boring, beta, two-buck chuck before you take some drug to make you more social, you're still gonna be same loser when that drug wears off. Nothing replaces making you a better you. There is no shortcut. There is no magic pill to make you chad. Grow up. No one c…

No. Publicly stating you are Red-Pill makes it seem like you "learned" to be alpha, which gives the appearance of lower SMV than someone who is just naturally alpha.

The attention should be on the perpetrator and why they felt entitled to enact that violence. Guilty until proven innocent. Let's just throw due process out the window. I feeeeeeel like he raped her, therefore all the attention should be focused on hypotheticals as to "why" he raped her, not silly facts like "if he raped her".

Tarantino managed to put the line "my big black dingus" into a movie. That scene is gold.

Exactly. It's easy for us to say, "let's just be more selective about who we potentially have kids with," but for every 1 guy thinking reasonably I guarantee there are at least 5 or 6 (conservative estimate) who are so pathetic and desperate to get laid.

makes me chuckle how everything is attached to a dollar amount. In this country, people don't give a shit about an issue until you quantify it in money. Money talks.

The best way I think is just to try it. If you aren't comfortable being that direct, fake it. Make a character in your mind, think of James Bond or Robert Downey Jr.'s Sherlock Holmes. These are people who are charming, witty and direct. Act like you're playing a character. After a few times of actually doing it, even if you're faking it, it will start to seem easier.

Thanks for the advice. "I only have so much left," was me trying to use logic and to justify myself. In hindsight, women aren't logical and I don't have to explain myself, I'll try to be more conscious of when I catch myself explaining my behavior.

You're right I should say I implemented strategies proposed on TRP, not TRP itself. I've always naturally been confident and in shape but I never really had strategy or knew what I was doing. I read all the sidebar material and posts regularly for months and tried to understand/internalize the mentality proposed here.

After reading for about half a year, I tried do implement aspects of strategy like preselection, not giving hotties the attention they're used to getting and being direct.

There's no schism. There are no "good and bad guys, no two camps, just your perception of two camps. TRP is a bunch of dudes going out, lifting, bettering themselves, making money and fucking girls. Either improve yourself and help others improve themselves, or get the fuck out. Don't overthink it.

No, I don't. Those aren't my views, I was explaining what the presumed purpose was behind the theory, I don't agree with it at all.

Long term? To bring about an end to prejudice. If everyone is a Eurasian-Negroid, then there aren't Europeans against Muslims, White Americans against Africans, Chinese against S.E. Asians, if were are all an intermingled race then we might stop trying to kill each other. Or at least, that's the theory.

This struck a cord with me. Particularly the line where she said she was lonely. I have a similar relationship with a female friend of mine whom I work with, we're both summer camp counselors so "work" is a stretch, more like hangout for 9 weeks each summer. Last fall she visited me and we went out to a couple bars, halfway through the night both of us are pretty drunk and we begin to talk about each others' sex lives. It was at that point we both start to realize each others' manipulative, mach…

I know what you mean, I was the youngest of 3, with two older sisters. I have read studies that show that men who grew up with mostly older sisters have a greater ease of developing relationships with women, but I realize now that's because a feminized worldview has been drilled into me for years. God if only I had found TRP in highschool instead of college
