The center was relatively close to my home, whereas I noticed other patients were flying in from all over the country and renting apartments nearby when they transitioned to Day Treatment. Some people drove 2 hours every morning to make it to Day Treatment. I remember now realizing how lucky I was to be there once I found out the length people went through to get this treatment. My experience was unique because I went to a residential-style treatment centre vs a hospital one (which I've heard really suck).
