Farmer's Walk: The best full-body exercise? It happened to me while I was midway through a deadlift set. I do 5x5 and I start by warming up before working my way up to my weight. I remember after a set, I was kinda stretching by squeezing my traps together and I think a muscle in the back spassed out. Next thing I know, the spazzed muscle started hurting and lasted till the next day. That was a weird moment for me. | /r/TheRedPill | 22/03/18 03:04 PM
Farmer's Walk: The best full-body exercise?Been doing some farmers walk with dumbbells, I can feel the burn it’s great! I also tried experimenting with static holds on dip bars. I can feel the burn in the traps, delta and forearms. | /r/TheRedPill | 21/03/18 03:33 PM
Farmer's Walk: The best full-body exercise?I’ve had his internal debate before. Squats or deadlifts if I had to choose. It’s a hard choice because ultimately I’m choosing the “lesser of two evils”. But for some reason I think strengthening the back has more benefits overall. Just my two cents worth ¯_(ツ)_/¯ | /r/TheRedPill | 16/03/18 03:43 PM
Farmer's Walk: The best full-body exercise?Aloe vera is great, works as a moisturiser but I’ve never tried it for anti-inflammatory purposes. Should I give it a go? I’m not having major joint issues but just curious. | /r/TheRedPill | 16/03/18 01:23 PM
Farmer's Walk: The best full-body exercise?Do you apply the aloe vera gel after your workouts? What about on your rest days? | /r/TheRedPill | 16/03/18 08:10 AM
Farmer's Walk: The best full-body exercise? When i find that i don't get sore from an exercise despite increasing weight or reps, i try something new. The body is interesting, so many muscles and joints that it's hard to target everything in our typical workout. I was at a park recently and tried an interesting situp station that had no back support. I did two sets and really enjoyed the stretch. Nothing out the ordinary. The next day i woke up with DOMS around my bladder. lol | /r/TheRedPill | 16/03/18 07:54 AM
Farmer's Walk: The best full-body exercise?Agree with the situps. I'm not saying don't do them, but i don't understand why people go all out bonkers with crazy situp programs. Crazy-high reps do a lot of damage to the spine. | /r/TheRedPill | 16/03/18 07:52 AM
Farmer's Walk: The best full-body exercise?Pushups, pullups, farmer's walk -- if you had to pick only two, what would you choose? | /r/TheRedPill | 16/03/18 07:49 AM
Farmer's Walk: The best full-body exercise?Serious question, but have you ever squeezed a muscle too hard and suddenly get a cramp? | /r/TheRedPill | 16/03/18 07:46 AM
Farmer's Walk: The best full-body exercise?Interesting, i've always been very careful about shoulder exercise (lateral raises, barbell raises, etc) because as i grow older, i try to avoid overstressing the shoulder joints. I still do raises but i make sure i control the movement and avoid going overly heavy. But building delts with farmer's walk seems like a good idea. Think i'll try it. | /r/TheRedPill | 16/03/18 07:45 AM
Farmer's Walk: The best full-body exercise? The Farmer's Walk is a very functional exercise, even picking and putting the weights down is like a mini deadlift. | /r/TheRedPill | 16/03/18 07:40 AM
