I say keep it simple. “Hey! You were at friend X’s party last time too, right? How have you been?”

I’m the same way. I hate conversations over text. I want to just schedule a date and save all the talking for face to face.

Well, I think it’s sexy to be confident and to be yourself. So I think you’ll still attract attention. Hopefully it will lead to genuine connections if that’s what you’re looking for!

I don’t think that’s necessarily true. There are lots of attractive guys at the gym that I don’t try to make eye contact with. Also, tons of less attractive guys that I notice because they are killing it at the gym. For me, it’s not quite that simple I think? I really just love working out so I’d have a friendly conversation about fitness with just about anyone that approached me respectfully.

I think it’s inappropriate in almost all circumstances — working out is “me-time”, and I value that very highly. I definitely do check out guys at the gym though... other women may disagree with me on this, but I think hypothetically, if I’ve been checking out a guy and make some significant amount of eye contact with him, I wouldn’t be opposed to him approaching me. But this has never happened IRL, and I am 100% satisfied with that - the gym is my “happy place” where I go to focus on myself and…

I dated a guy that didn’t have any friends- he was a good guy, just very busy and had trouble connecting with people. Because he didn’t have friends, I had to be everything for him and it was sort of exhausting. Like, he didn’t have any other support network to turn to when he needed one — just me. It also made me feel guilty when I wanted time to spend with my friends, because I knew he couldn’t do the same. Honestly for me I think it would be a deal breaker. I need some independence in a relat…

Bring a volleyball. Bitches love volleyballs. For real though, I’ve met a bunch of people who just ask if my group of friends wants to join up with their group to play a friendly game.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
