Okay so you are not what I would call "non-promiscuous", if you catch my drift. Sounds like you shouldn't have double standards. Not sure what the purpose of your post was because it wasn't really about promiscuous vs non-promiscuous. You obviously don't care if a woman's been promiscuous... you're just trying to figure out if the woman you want (the promiscuous one) is good for you. She isn't wanting a relationship and I doubt she would be good for you at this stage.

The truth is, really beautiful women are not often the types that sleep around the most.

Yeah so, as a straight woman myself, a lot of women have really low standards. It's not politically correct to say, especially in women-only circles, but it's just the truth. I personally was never interested in "players", even if they "chose me" in the end. I have dumped those kinds of guys in the past. Not interested. I was always interested in relationship-oriented men, or men who were a bit more careful and less fixated on the "let's go clubbing and sleep with everyone" lifestyle. My current…

Honestly, no. I'm a woman and I don't have a promiscuous past. What I can say is that the women I know/was friends with that did have more of a long line of sexual history, were far less likely to be happy committed to one man, or would assume they deserved better, or would be more okay taking "chances". It's totally okay to want the right match for you, or to walk away from something where the man mistreats you... but promiscuous women tend to want a divorce so they can sleep around. At least t…

I haven't ever had casual sex so I can't really claim to be like women who do, but I do know that a lot of women are brought up to chase casual sex because it's "cool" or somehow "liberating". For ex, with my white female friends, it was just the norm for them. They weren't really shamed for it the way women in my circles would have been. Honestly, I could have done that in high school too or university, but I was religious and just didn't even want to. All I know is that men encourage it a lot.…

Hmm, I see attractive women with men who aren't quite their "match" all the time. Just saw another couple like this today. There are women out there who don't care. It's just that if you're very unattractive, you'll have a hard time. One thing I have noticed is that women who use online dating tend to over-shoot aka shoot out of their league. I've seen some of the women from friends' apps/guys I know and wow is the word. Some of these women are average at the very most (with makeup) and they aim…

Haha I have never had casual sex, and I'm not a big drinker. I didn't drink during my 18-23 years, at all. Sounds like I'm just a gen Z. :P I don't see anything wrong with these trends, though I'd say the declining social skills are a big factor with gen Z.

That gets easier for guys too. A lot of young women want to get with a guy that already has everything. I have seen it myself. I wouldn't have believed it if someone had told me, but it's a real thing. True. A lot of women are vile.

I hate the number scale, but you can be an 8/10 and be chill. You can also be a 5/10 and not be pleasant. More than anything, I think it comes down to how someone is on the inside - are they happy on the inside, truly empathetic, caring? Did they grow up being praised for their looks? If they were praised for their appearance, they're more likely to be unpleasant... but plenty of us were ugly ducklings and had to rely on character and personality and capability for a long time, before our exteri…

Exactly this. My parents immigrated to North America (so I was raised here my entire life).... I've heard some insane shit about what's going on back where they're originally from. Women dating around more than I ever had (and they come from a very strict country), more narcissism there than here (as in, the diaspora kids are less narcissistic somehow), etc. People think it's just a "western" thing but it actually isn't. It comes down to character... and truth is, a lot of people are low value a…

Hmmm, many of the most toxic people I've encountered are married. It just so happens they found someone who was too scared to be single, so they coupled up. I would actually say some of the most functional people choose to opt out until they meet a great person, so they end up being single for longer.

95%? That's a really high number. I definitely have those people, I just ignore/block as much as possible. I would never have put myself in the top 5% (in the whole world) on looks at least. Pretty sure it's more than 5% of women who garner that type of attention.

Yeah I know, I get it all the time with my more "normal stable life" friends - I'm absolutely shamed on a level, even if it's very passive. As a woman, the pressure to follow the script is very high, much higher than it is even for men. So it's been a struggle but the great thing is there are plenty of men out there who actually want more of the adventurous life rather than the "normal" life, so I haven't had issues attracting that.

I have good social skills and had no issues asking questions in subtle ways that were always direct. It's why I got recruited for espionage (but never did it). There's definitely a fine line but when you know how to be, you can ask a lot more than you think. It's not about being rude, it's about simply asking in a way that's delicate and well-received. The other thing to add is that women often don't ask very directly. Men generally seem to like my directness, because they're used to women skirt…

Agreeableness is a turnoff? Lol, in what world? I personally very much like agreeable men. I don't mean a man who has no spine or no opinions - I mean a man who won't argue for arguing's sake, or who won't constantly have a neurotic attitude towards everything. That type of person (the exhausting, neurotic, combative, etc) is exhausting to be around.

My boyfriend is 6'3, attractive, etc, and yeah he's been ghosted several times, had women lose interest, etc. And I mean women who are objectively less appealing than him. The only women who were eager were way less attractive than him, which blows my mind - how do these women have so much confidence? Personally, I have been ghosted but probably less than him, and honestly because I haven't actually gone on a lot of dates from apps, I can't speak to a large sample size... but it's been a mixed b…
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/21 06:52 AM

Oh and in the past... I've compromised on big things and been mostly burned. For ex, compromising on someone's attractiveness to me just doesn't work out. For some reason, less attractive men are men I can't date. Their egos blow up and then they act arrogantly and rudely - that's happened to me more than once. My current boyfriend is definitely the most attractive man I've dated and yet he's also been the most self-conscious somehow. It blows my mind how this happens.

Oh I thought you meant those traits were BAD, lol. Yes, a bit of "I don't care" is great, obviously unless it hurts others tremendously. It's confidence.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/21 06:46 AM

For #5... what did she expect exactly? If you're 6' as a woman, you're not going to be perceived as universally attractive. Her expecting to date a man who was 6' or taller was a bit weird to me. For me, it was that I never expected to date someone with less emotional stability than me. Honestly, i always figured I'd end up with the type of man who was stoic, quiet, and I'd be the one who'd have the bigger emotions. My current boyfriend looks physically masculine but while I wouldn't say his emo…

I love this. My boyfriend is like you - he loves how I look without makeup but I often wear a bit more (still not much) than he'd even necessarily notice/tell me to. I still have quite a bit of contrast in my features naturally though so the difference isn't huge unless it's wedding-level makeup.

No, I don't think you realize how many women have those things done without being spotted. I'm a woman myself and have not detected those things in every woman... I've had women tell me and I didn't realize they did those things lol. I have not and I have actually been asked if I've had some work done, because apparently it's unfathomable to meet someone with some of my attributes but natural.

Yeah I actually have fantasized about this before lol, as a woman who likes how she looks when she wakes up... and is not the best at applying makeup the way a lot of women my age do. I would honestly love to see a world where we all just go bare-faced. It would totally change things up and I know I'd see less ego in a lot of women I know personally. And a lot more men would appreciate women for who they are.

Hmm, I'm definitely a natural woman, I look good without makeup but I don't consider myself to be a model or anything. What do you mean by "spends hundreds of dollars on beauty products"? Do you mean in a year? Then yeah, because my cleanser and moisturizer aren't super cheap (former is about $15 a big bottle and latter is about $30 a bottle because it's so annoyingly pricey). But in a year, my makeup bill is probably $120-200? That's $10-16 a month. Not exactly outrageous. It all depends on the…

Exactly this. I had no clue what FDS was until 2020, but when I was dating actively in 2018 and 2019, I was definitely asking some of those questions (very straight forward and direct ones, sometimes about uncomfortable subjects) within the first 3 dates because I definitely did not want to waste my time, nor was I comfortable proceeding to physical intimacy with 99% of people, at least. The modern "dating" world is a bit screwed up like this - men expecting physical intimacy before the woman kn…

Not sure I understand the last thing ("not caring what you should do")? Of course everyone wants a partner who's conscientious and reliable.

My boyfriend thinks I'm mysterious, as has any guy I've dated. Sometimes you just have it a bit and you don't even mean to. It's not something I do on purpose... it's just having a bit of my own thing going on while also wanting to share and be open with him.

I liked him because he was attractive and vibrant and exciting. We'd go on road trips and out of the blue and spontaneously do stuff it was great. Yeah if that all makes up a "bad boy" then I guess I'm a "bad girl" because this is me too haha. A lot of people mistake "exciting/interesting/adventurous" with something negative.

DT traits actually put me off severely. This is shown in my dating experience of basically dumping every guy I've dated prior to my current boyfriend. Not all of them men I dated had DT traits (in fact I'd say 3/4 didn't) but the one with the DT traits evident, was the only one I actually did not have a decent ending with. I was very straightforward about how much of an asshole he was, and I let him know that it was shitty and I had no interest. He ended up emailing me 2 years later begging for …

There is no such thing as an unlimited supply... not if you actually have high standards. Although I could easily go off and get a bunch of guys interested in me, it doesn't mean I'll want a life with them. And I don't do casual affairs, never have, so that means a smaller pool for a specific reason (a long term thing). I do think red pillers generally have mental health issues. The first person I ever dated was definitely a red piller, who at the time was "spinning plates" (I now know what that…

I agree that it's a dangerous premise to sell to young women. I'm a creator myself and I always find it's important to write really good stuff because this stuff affects people's brains more than we'd like to admit. The only thing I'll say is it's also escapism.

Best comment in here. Although I'll say one thing about your 2nd last paragraph - it's more so just about her having sort of a mid-life crisis, kind of the way men often do in similar (yet different) ways. And it's very important to note that they were very mismatched. I agree that the guys were pretty lame. The lead female also seems immature. Definitely noticed the narcissism as well.

Lol I'm Asian (but more like the kind of Asian the lead of the show is, rather than East Asian...) and I'm not even considered "too old" within my culture, because shit changes and shit is changing. I'm not single but my parents still get approached by dudes who are interested in me, and I'm in my 30s now. Also, plenty of Asians hook up, in Asia and outside of Asia. Your comment is way too one-dimensional. Although yes I totally agree with the "spent my 20s working hard to build myself up and di…

Just FYI - the lead herself is actually 3/4 Asian and would not be classified as a white woman, at least not in real life. The actress for some reason always dismisses her ethnicity in casting, IDK why. She's Persian, not a white chick from Ohio. Also just to add (I'm Asian myself), plenty of Asian women are promiscuous. Let's not stereotype.
