| 69 | Just had my first son.....Here in the UK the mother can choose whether or not to put the father on ther certificate. Then you have to go through legal routes to be put on it. If the mother dies in child birth, you don't have automatic rights over the child. Imagine losing your partner and child in the same day. | /r/MensRights | 01/12/21 04:11 PM |
| 8 | Example of discrimination towards men.It interests me the language these news outlets use. There is no such thing as reverse discrimination. By definition all treatment or consideration based on class or category, such as race or gender, rather than individual merit; partiality or prejudice IS discrimination. This type of language is an attempt to fuel hatred against a groups and create resentment. Thier main goal is to keep us fighting, to make money from hatred of one another. | /r/MensRights | 28/10/21 10:19 AM |
| 20 | Canada's New Covid Stimulus Package. To be given only to the mom of the house. It's ok dad's, you can still get it, if you get a letter from your wife saying it's ok. (She's doesn't need a letter from dad. shhh!🤫)This has been my arguement with this type of discrimination. You can't punish groups for the past as it impacts on other minority groups in the future. True equality isn't tipping the balance I the other direction. It's about putting right was was wrong. | /r/MensRights | 24/12/20 09:01 AM |
| 4 | One of the most embarrassing things about America is how the family court system ALWAYS sides with the mother, no matter how abusive they are. This happens in the UK where removing children from parents has a commercial aspect. It's profitable to take as many children away from their families or father's as it is a money making device. Try and sue these companies and there are safe guards against it out in place by the system. The worst thing is UK law is set up to make it easy to remove your kids from you based on a feeling you might do harm, no evidence needed. It's sick really but no one cares until it happens to them. | /r/MensRights | 06/09/20 08:31 AM |
