Women brought up in rigid fundamentalist religions are brainwashed into thinking that God wants submission to husband

If something in your relationship is bothering you then perhaps go to counseling together. It may be related to your differing political views but it may go deeper. Learning to communicate through the Chan and differences could make your relationship stronger

And count the cost. It will break you down emotionally over time. He doesn’t want to be helped. Or change. Recognize that you may have co-dependency issues. Thoroughly research narcissistic abuse. It is subtle

Find true purpose in using your gifts to benefit humanity and grow as a person. While you are engaging in these activities as you meet people along the way they may have the same interests as you which is a good place to start. Don’t allow yourself to be isolated. Social groups, spiritual groups, exercise groups…you pick

Lol, I doubt any woman on this site would as long as you spew misogyny and sexism. But you could change your ways and become a loving kind human being and you may be amazed at how attractive you become

Red pill has something to do with it because I think narc men are attracted to red pill. And co-dependent women are attracted to the female version

That is the story of narcissistic abuse. Too good to be true at the beginning. Then the discarding and abuse start. Then the gaslighting. Then the grooming to get you to be their perfect partner, and the rage taken out on you if they feel they are not succeeding. They enjoy causing you emotional pain.

Narcissism. It helped me a lot to watch YouTube videos about it. It goes deeper than red pill ideology and helped me realize why it is so damaging and hard to get away from. I think narcissists are attracted to red pill -

Maybe there is something in him they saw and you didn’t. And I don’t know if anyone can predict you have a bright future if he doesn’t man up and get a job. What man would let his wife support him for 2 months and not be looking for a job? That is the objective fact. Jobs are everywhere.

Why would you think this is your fault? It is not. There isn’t a lot of space or support for your own feelings

Could there be a happy medium? Like a part time job ? Seems like a drastic change with long term ramifications. I personally was stay at home but really wish now I had kept working. It depends on if it is really what you want or if it is just what he wants to have you be home full time. Long term not having your own job and income can be a real downer.

In the future he may need a clearly set boundary or more of the same and it won’t be funny anymore. IE. “I don’t want any further discussion of this topic and if it continues to happen I am going to go spend some time doing something I enjoy more than this. Then leave the room or the premises. Don’t allow yourself to be groomed to continue take a little bit more of what is objectionable to you

Total honesty -about how thrilled and flattered you are at the generous gesture but ask for more discussion about it as a way to get to know each other better -i.e. what are your reasons and his reasons for wanting what you each want and how enlightening the discussion will be for both of you. Men Have been programmed that women want an expensive ring. Or that is how they show love. Women have been programmed in other ways. Honesty and individuality are sexier than traditions. Tricky though sinc…

All of your questions and curiosity and giving him advice about everything seem intrusive. Why not focus on your own life and things that you enjoy and let him manage his life unless he asks for your help. It sounds like you are mothering and smothering him. Co-dependents anonymous might be a good place to get some support.

Also build strong nurturing relationships with women both friends and mentors. Throughout life to try to get all your social and emotional needs met by one man is where women often are unrealistic and don’t realized women especially (more than men usually) need other supportive women to confide in

My husband said my brains are why he married me. He likes having an intelligent conversation. It is incorrect to lump all men into a category -looks are not #1 to all men.

Some people who want this are sex addicts. Be aware of this. It not just an alternative lifestyle but an addiction. And they behave like addicts and you would be enabling their addiction.

Sounds like he isn’t ready to think about marriage age 25 and that probably has very little to do with you personally so don’t blame yourself. You are lucky to have learned this now. If you want to marry at the young age of 23 or date the person you are going to eventually marry then it needs to be a conversation at the beginning of the relationship I.e. “I am looking for a long term serious relationship that will lead to marriage”. Please don’t be so hard on yourself.

Don’t drink or smoke, eat a lot of fruit and vegetables, drink a lot of water and take collagen. Watch your appearance improve, but for many men it’s not about looks.

Possibly an old fashioned etiquette book on how to eat with poise and confidence. Sit up straight with good posture and bring small mouthfuls to your mouth. Chew thoroughly, you will be healthier. Mindful eating includes enjoying each bite and being thankful for the food you have. Visualize yourself as a princess daintily eating your food while dining with your prince and enjoying yourself. I think you are so far along in your journey you will conquer this too. PS. I wish my home was pristine!!

Sounds like you are in a good place then. If family can’t give you the support and encouragement you need at this time, find peeps who can. It may all change once you have kids and your Mom becomes and doting grandmother thrilled with the choice you have made.

I grew up in a family of 10 kids with my mom SAHM. She gave up her identity and to raise us and kind of lost herself. 2 of my sisters are career women and never married. I was shamed into not working after marriage because that was the norm back then in my culture. I was willing to be a SAHM but had infertility. So I went to work. Then I had kids and worked part time. Looking back I would encourage every young woman to develop career skills and spend some time living independently and supporting…

My apologies. But if the income goes away and illness or disfigurement happen there has to be a deeper bond and I think that is what people are truly looking for. I’ve travelled in very wealthy circles as well as not. There are people of all shapes and sizes in every circle from top to bottom of the financial scale, and those on the more optimal looking or wealthy end of things definitely don’t seem to be any happier.

Not all guys look for looks first. I had a baby a month before I turned 40. Every man is different, as is every woman. Some men don’t care about weight, or much else and just fall in love with you as a person. That would be the kind to look for. Not one that you have to change yourself to “please” them.

Know one k now what he thinks or doesn’t think about the past. If u want to know ask him as he is the only one who knows. He may really respect you for making the right choice for yourself as did he.

Do not shut down your inner voice of wisdom. You have to know what you are getting into. You have a right to know b4 long term commitment. Watch about 20 youtube about narcissism. If anything applies to him about that you need to also know that
