I don’t understand why men are so obsessed with novelty… it really is disturbing, I think it might be rooted in their belief that women are playthings, and not fully people.

This! I think mirroring stereotypically masculine traits is like a “shortcut” to respect from men, when in reality we should be aiming to stop the negative stigmatization of feminine traits. As long as femininity is looked down upon by men, we aren’t fixing anything, it’s just a bandaid.

The fact that he felt justified in doing this to her because she “provoked him” echoes the misogyny and rape culture everywhere. Disgusting.

Sexism toward women: daily threats, sexual objectification, dehumanization and degradation, gaslighting, lost professional opportunities, countless harmful stereotypes, harassment, rape, abuse, etc. “Sexism” towards men: a draft that doesn’t exist anymore, griping about not being able to punch women, and complaining that their bros will make fun of them if they cry Oh also not to mention the 3% of “false rape accusations” (while conveniently ignoring the 97% of truth-telling women who are actual…

Really not sure how any of these make men seem superior. Especially the washing hands bit? Oh noooo, women are hygienic /s

We’re all supposed to be mothers but we’re not allowed to have any natural physical results of motherhood. Makes sense! /s

This is exactly why women are super super wary of men. Women know 99.9% of the time they’re seen as walking fleshlights by men.

Lol no. He was short and broke and drug addicted and I still cared about him. As a human being. That’s what real people in relationships are like. Enough with the incel shit.

Lol what do you want me to say? That super short guys are hot shit and girls will line up to hook up with them? That’s not true, but that doesn’t mean they can’t find partners who care about them. Is it shocking and insulting that people care more about their partners’ personalities than their appearances when finding romantic partners? Who you are “on the inside” doesn’t matter if you’re just hooking up, why would it? Cmon.

I’m 5’9” and I’ve dated men that were 5’6”-5-8” before. Height really isn’t that important for relationships, but it is when hooking up for some reason. This might be why you’re having bad experiences on those types of apps specifically

Literally what I did and it led me to the love of my life, so I would say 100% do this? If they’re only interested in you because it’s a “challenge” to be with you, they’re not really in love with you for who you are anyway. So it gets rid of the assholes, keeps you clean, and allows you to find men who are into you for you? Where’s the downside for either men OR women?
