Nice, a lost brother across the border lol. There is a saying in SG. SGreans are trained, not educated. The system here stifles every form of creativity for conformity. We learn to jump through hoops, not how to build better ones. Theres some new national survey findings done just a few days ago about singlehood in SG. I will update real with some sources soon (its like 4.30am now).

Hello friend, Glad to know you managed to GTFO of HK. The social problems there seems way worst than SG. I'm already planning ahead for my exit strategy out here too. That means making dollars, staying single and no crazy chicks for the next 5 - 10 years.

Ahh bangkok. I have not lived there long term, but its a relatively stone's throw away from my area (2 hr flight time). I have been visiting there bi monthly for 1-2 week stay. Well, i will still be earning a sizable income in the 8 years on the path to captaincy (except during flight school). Even if i dont make it to captain rank, i will still be drawing about 10k a month as first officer. Of course the rank it wouldnt sound as sexy to the girls (but who cares right?). Other than my concern with the loan, i'm not sure if i am truly cut out for it. I mean it took me 4 tries just to attain my drivers license, and we're talking about a commercial pilot license here.
