Why would rejection from a person you don't know effect your self-worth when they haven't taken the time to get to know you in the context of a friendship/relationship? Every person has something to offer and is valuable, but if they aren't interested then it's about them, not about you. (Unless of course you portray any red flags).

I kinda stumbled on this somehow but I had to ask,WHY are guys so afraid to approach girls? The worst thing a person can say is no. I suppose that's where the irrational part comes in..
