same as most things: ego defense. if she rejects you, she rejected that overly-silly and 'dumb' persona, not the real you. that's why being emotionally vulnerable is both infinitely harder and infinitely more valuable.

they all suck. best would just be like: "thanks" or "what is it about older guys that you find attractive?" just completely destroys her frame while establishing yours as the strongest, and we all know the strongest frame dominates.

ok, let me know how it goes. the longer you wait the less chance it has of happening. i'm talking from experience.

firstly: ... what the fuck did i just read? i have no clue what you're asking. it seems like the objectively best move is to just go up to her in person and be like: "i don't know where we stand but i find you attractive and would like to get to know you better. how does <activity> sound? you free this weekend?" if she's interested, it'll work. if she isn't, nothing will.

real talk, this answer is on the money. however, i'd start texting her and build some slight rapport, just so you're on her radar and she's probably telling her friends about you. i'd then leave it a couple of days, and call her up to invite her on a date. don't call just for the sake of it, as it's hard not to come across as needy and supplicating. call when you have an intention (as in, asking for a date). the sound of your voice is infinitely sexier than words on a screen, and it has the adde…

easiest way is to get the two other people talking about themselves to each other. if you're the one that facilitated and initiated it ("oh, person c! person b and i were just chatting about .....") you're the one that has the frame. this will be appreciated by both parties subconsciously. if you feel it slipping, eject.

simple. all this means for him is that on some evenings he will be busy posting field reports on other forums.

I would recommend the Fountainhead over Atlas Shrugged. Ayn Rand's philosophy is laughably poor, but her literary style and characterisation is brilliant. Tyler from RSD in The Blueprint Decoded also recommends reading The Fountainhead.

Great soundtrack to that: Portico Quartet.

I'm in exactly the same situation as you. I can't offer any solid advice as I have the same issues you do (everyone's already formed their own social circles), but one thing I'm going to do is join a few societies and become active in them, living a more 'fulfilled'/interesting life etc. But yeah, would love an answer to this :)

I'm certain that one of them did an IAMA after their first three videos came out. It wasn't Jason or Kong; it was the other one (forgot his name). I just tried searching seddit for IAMA and AMA and it didn't come up, but the thread definitely exists, anyone able to find it? EDIT: Apparently it wasn't an AMA at all. This is his account; he just answered a few questions.

Write a message on a piece of paper, fold it up and get it passed to her. Hopefully she'll reply back and you can flirt over this (basically like texting). End the paper-passing with a #-close.
