Some of the administrators at my school tried that, but students and their parents complained to prevent it. The school backed down and left the girls dress code as it is. Boys: Solid color Oxford Style button down, khaki or navy dress pants, tie, closed toe shoes Girls: Button down shirt or sweater, dress pants or knee length skirt (not enforced or leggings or tights or khaki/navy shorts. They could also get away with certain colors of jeans. People don't want to give up privileges.

There is also sexism in favor of her, with people supporting her because "it is time for a woman president". Hillary has what I have dubbed "Hillary Clinton Syndrome": she is popular in the off years because people like the idea of her but loses her luster when she runs and is seen for what she really is. People don't like Hillary Clinton, they like a legitimate female candidate.

I don't understand how anyone can support such a vague law. Is wearing a padded bra or lifts rape now? You won't find out until the judge decides. How do you prove someone told a lie? Laws need to be concrete so that citizens can be assured what actions are unlawful and what actions are safe.

I think the point of the post is not that it is a high up member of the Obama-Campaign, but rather that it is being used in a national scale. I think the post does not make any attacks on the party the posted it, and is thus bi-partisan.

Well if your problem is gender-segregation, it seems like you should have something male-geared because the female-geared one has already taken place. Set it up so that it is primarily focused on male protection, but allow females to come. Then, in following years, the school is more likely to merge them than to keep doing a men's and woman's.

It still affects me in the sense that it opened my eyes to my world not being as safe as I thought and I developed some trust issues that I am not able to shake. There was also a positive affect though, when I finally spoke to my older brother about it I decided to never back down out of fear.

I think reddit will always have a problem with downvotes. I am of the mind that down votes are a way of saying "this adds nothing and/or is hurtful to the discussion", but instead it is a way of saying "I disagree". My school asexually made a proud announcement a couple years ago that "as part of our diversity initiative, we will only be hiring teachers of color for the next few years." I hate the word "diversity", it is just a publicity stunt, rather than a means of equality. They don't seem to care that true equality is to hire solely on merit and not on things like skin-color and genitalia.

Well it is a procedure that is detrimental to mental and physical health without any benefits. It is also not a matter of circumcision, but that it is forced. Well I acknowledge that everyone has different preferences, but some of us would prefer to have our foreskin. We did not choose to have an unnecessary and painful procedure done to us.
