I don’t understand That's why the social aspect is important, going to the gym alone sucks for me even though I like working out but if you have a buddy you're more hanging out and you can encourage each other. There are other ways to accomplish the same thing like joining a sports team or a martial arts club/gym/dojo. It also helps with mental toughness and learning about yourself, your limits, and how to safely push those limits. Using a straight razor when you don't know what your doing is a great way to permanently damage your face. If you really want to use a straight razor buy a bag of balloons, inflate a balloon, cover it in shaving cream and remove all the shaving cream without popping the balloon. Once you can do that reliably you can shave with a straight razor reliably.
