This is perfect actually. But I’m still not sure how to do this. It requires a lot of patience. I think he’s worth the wait though

I totally agree with you and can see that what is lacking the most is an emotional support and nurturing. That I can give to him but also I don’t wanna be too into his personal space.

You’re absolutely right. I do want to move forward with him. We’ve been trying to keep it very transparent between us in order to move on from this situation. Thank you for your advice!

I think he seems to be the submissive type. Honestly I like submissive men as I am controlling and I like to boss around. It’s just a preference and a role model I take from my parents relationship. The crying sounded genuine. He’s in a divorce battle with his ex-wife and it’s been pretty stressful for him. I was just in shock cos it was too much for me and I wasn’t expecting this one thing to trigger this drama.

Yes we’ve slept together and I was the first after his divorce. We have discussed the relationship as it was too intense and suggested we’d take things slow and see what happens. That was the first emotional outburst since I’ve known him.

Officially divorced for less than a year. Dating for about 2 months

Thanks a lot Once again! I’d just like to know how to react to all this. Men are the gatekeepers of commitment and he clearly is the commitment type. So how do I use all of this dramatic situation to My advantage?

Don’t mind his past to be honest. I just don’t know to act around a guy who’s not used to The real world of dating life. Also, I think it’s very admirable to show vulnerability.

That’s exactly what I thought. He’s used to having exclusive relationships. I don’t care about the drama to be honest. I didn’t feel bad for him doing that or anything. I’m the kind of person who sees other people all at once too when there’s no explicit exclusivity implied. Thing is he seems confused and I don’t wanna pressure him cos he has already a lot going on his head with the divorce and sharing of assets and all this BS. Yeah, I’d love to be exclusive with him. He’s a great guy. I don’t …

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
