Well first off, Jedi aren't suppose to smash cat so that's a deal breaker in my book. Second, I don't interpret the Sith code/ideologies to be focused on emotions like wrath and hate. I think the focus is more on passion and becoming a master of your passion is what gives you strength. Check out the link u/joseph_fuzzco_JR posted in response to one of my comments. It has a pretty good analysis of what the Sith Code means.

I mainly ignored her. Eventually I said something along the lines of "I told you I needed time and space" then continued ignoring.

Man, I really feel bad for this guy. Sounds like he still has the marriage 1.0 state of mind where you stick by your oath "for better, for worse" where his wife seems to be in the marriage 2.0 state of mind. I know OP thinks he is too far gone on the blue pill that he couldn't be saved but if any of us needs a helping hand it's guys like this. I hope he finds the truth and support he needs.

The main reason why I don't take women's words seriously is because they don't take their own words seriously. Their words are directly influenced by their emotional state at that particular time, and they will change or twist what they said when their emotional state changes. Great example of this happened to me last week. A recent ex of mine was emotionally distraught and was trying to get support from me. When I refused, she said we are done for good and she will never talk to me again...she …

Nice. So you used the threat of violence to silence a beta while sexually assaulting his GF by smacking her ass. Back when I was in school I was suspended for smacking a girls ass because it was reported by one of her beta bitch friends and was considered sexual harassment. If you had gotten in a fight you very easily could have been pressed with assault charges. I'd rethink your lessons learned.

This guys seems to be doing the right thing not talking to her. That pizza thing is hilarious though. I want to hate on it for being a shallow, dismal attempt at an apology but as I started to rank "things I'd be OK with my GF randomly sending me at work", pizza might be number 1.

It sounds like you're too concerned with appearance bro. We call them Strong Island Ice Teas cuz they are more alcohol than mixer. Triple Sec is the only liqueur in the mix and is mostly to ease the harshness of the rum + gin + vodka + tequila. If you're drinking strong islands all night and not a complete shit show, you're manly as fuck.

I used to watch the tv show The OC. If you're not familiar with the show, it's a teen drama that ran in the early 2000's. Looking back, that show was garbage and the two reasons I watched it were 1: there were tons of hot girls in the show (Mischa Barton, Rachel Bilson, Olivia Wild to name a few) and 2: girls watched it so it gave me a conversation topic and a good reason to get a bunch of girls over to my place on Wednesday nights.

Thanks for this post. It shed some light on the changes I've been noticing over the last year or so. The responses I get from my peers when I tell them "I'm over sex" (I'm 30) make me feel like something is wrong with me and that I'm not healthy. In reality I feel like a weight has been lifted where I'm not stressing over women and getting laid. Now I'm at the point where I don't really know what to do/where to go with my life. I've gotten an education, career, house, etc. all based off the idea…

Interesting. I'd like to see overall statistics on women jurors vs men jurors. I've been following the Aurora Theater shooting case and noticed that of 24 jurors selected, only 5 were men. Ideally, I'd expect a more 50/50 split of men and women.

Eh, i would say this only applies if there is attraction and even then, I wouldn't label that as friendship. The way I see it is real friends are made from sharing similar interests and hobbies. And I'd argue that it's really the similar hobbies that builds friendships because it gives you a reason/motivation to get together. I only have 1 real female friend at the moment. I have no attraction to her at all. But, we do share a few similar hobbies which is why we hang out. Considering how you wro…

Hah, I just watched that too. While I cringed for the guy dating that one chick, I honestly thought he had a pretty good head on his shoulders (minus the staying with her part). A lot of the advice he dished out was spot on. That chick is lucky as fuck he did not split. I also thought the dude living in Miami finding all these girls was a champ. I want that job.

This. I'd add that regardless of success or TRP life style, peoples' interests and life situations change over time and friendships dissolve. I'd be surprised if OP hasn't made new friends and isn't acknowledging it in this assessment.

Assuming OP is the one paying for the entirety of the house and he he has a genuine interest in it (meaning he doesn't like the house because she does) there is no reason he need to bail on buying it. He just needs to leave her off the mortgage. Just my 2 cents. I know the housing market where I live is ridiculous right now and houses are hard to find.

Oh, there definitely comes a point where you are "cured". I've done it twice before. If either of those two hit me up to talk or get together, I'd laugh and decline without thinking twice about it. I think that response is when you know you're 100% over it. Sometimes it just takes longer to get to that point. You actually answered my question though: 1 year, 9 plates was your longest.

I may have put too much background info in my post. I totally agree with your advice. Practicing mental discipline is certainly a main focus in my path to self improvement. It is a practice though and I'm not perfect yet. But ya, I was more acknowledging the fact that I still think about this chick not really thinking about her in detail (if that makes any sense). Ok, i'll agree this isn't best the time or place for OP to make a stand. It's easier to write about some bullshit no one has strong opinions on to avoid criticism and to be socially accepted. Sometimes I forget how fucked up high school was. Being socially accepted is the only important thing at that time in one's development.

"The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing" Blacks would not have the freedom they do today if it weren't for the brave men that were vocal about the injustices against them.
/r/askTRP03/02/15 05:27 PM

When I said it was beta, I was referring to when a man chooses to accept the way things are and sacrifice his beliefs in fear of what others might think. An alpha male would stand strong in his beliefs.
/r/askTRP03/02/15 05:25 PM
-2

So the lesson is to not speak out against injustice in fear of the consequences? If no options are presented against Common Core principles, they will go on to be accepted without question. What we are advising OP to do is to accept the shitty society we live in and make no attempt in changing it due to the fear of what some over powered feminists might think. This is beta at its fullest.
/r/askTRP03/02/15 04:53 PM

Honestly, I don't give a fuck what people think about me. I have arrived to my views on the topic by real work experiences and reading books/essays. I would not be so sure about TRP if others had not written about it. What if all the authors of the books relevant to TRP decided not to write about the subject because they were afraid of what society might think of them?
/r/askTRP03/02/15 04:44 PM
-1

Nope, not living under a rock. I'm very well aware of the way society views us. But we can't let that deter us from speaking out and taking a stand. Nothing is going to change if we do nothing and "fly under the radar". As strong men, we must not be afraid to stand up for what we believe in.
/r/askTRP03/02/15 04:37 PM

ಠ_ಠ posts on a social website are not anything like a well thought-out argument written in an essay to be presented in an academic setting. Come on man.
/r/askTRP03/02/15 04:22 PM
-5

Ok, I see your point. OP: write about how women need more rights and how men are oppressing women. Write about how men are destroying our society with rape and abuse, and that women deserve more. This will be widely popular and will surely get you an A+ and the approval of all of your peers.
/r/askTRP03/02/15 04:19 PM
0

You say "only our actions bring about change" then advise OP not to act. In my past writing classes I wrote killer papers when it was regarding a topic I cared about. OP should write about what he is passionate about and if that is men's rights then he should go for it. What if his presentation helps other young men in his class realize that they are conforming to a feminist society and that it is OK to criticize it? What if his presentation helps some young women in his class realize that there…

You're implying that OP will get a bad grade on this essay, fail English, flunk out of school, and be a social outcast. I think if the paper is well written this is highly unlikely. I understand TRP has some very unpopular view points but we can't be afraid to talk about them, especially if they are presented in with logical statements with data to support them.
/r/askTRP03/02/15 03:57 PM
2

Isn't this advice (mirroring most of the comments) saying that he should conform to a feminist society and not take a stance? This young man is looking to be the change we talk about and everyone is telling him to keep his mouth shut. He doesn't have to attack women in his essay. He can make logical conclusions from relevant data/statistics that shows the harm to society that certain feminist movements have caused. Maybe it might help his fellow peers to look into the subject more and draw their…

Dude, I loved reading your post. I am going through a somewhat similar situation (although some different plot twists). Maybe I'll write about it one day. Anyway, just wanted to say a couple things: 1. Maintaining frame is fucking hard. One thing I've been working on lately is focusing on recognizing when I've lost frame instead of focusing on keeping it. Also, find out what kind of chocolate is her favorite and bring her some. Don't make a big deal out of it, try to do it as casual as possible. I can also vouch for this. In the last few years I've developed a pretty solid DEVI performance. Lately, I'd say I've gotten too good at it. There is absolutely no form of comradery you can have with a female compared to a male. Just look at how differently women treat their friends. They will back stab them and leave them over the stupidest shit. I've listened to every one of my female friends talk shit about their other female friends.

Also, a shitty girl will leave to ride the carousel while you put in the work to become great then come back to try to share in your success. Beware of these as well.

I have two bachelors degrees in engineering and working on an MBA. I've achieved many of my major goals I've set for myself. I've done all this with out committing to a serious relationship. I've dated girls that put major pressure on me to get serious with them. Looking back, I would've not been able to accomplish what I have if I have them what they wanted.

Haha it really irks me when people say they are bored. I'm never bored, always got something to do/create/research. Interesting people are never bored.

I've come to this realization too with two of my ex's, both of which, preTRP, I was devastated when we broke up. Both came back to me in the recent past and all I can see is leftovers. One has a kid, one wants a kid. It's so blatantly obvious that they aren't interested in me at all but rather what I can provide for them. All I can do no is laugh at them on my way to the bank.

What about the best style to meet women? After watching the ice dancing in Winter Olympics, I was thinking about taking a tango, or salsa, or some style with a partner and romantic undertones. Buuuut. I also would like to learn how to c-walk

I'm in the same boat bro so I have no answers. It's like I used to pick up women because it was a challenge and I wasn't sure I could do it. Now that I have had success, it's no longer a thrill.

That book is truest a life changer. I tell myself "this too shall pass" nearly everyday, good or bad. Makes me appreciate the present moment regardless of the circumstances.
