If a man said to his friends, "Dating is really taking a beating on my self-esteem with all these rejections" How do you think they would react according to this thread?

Even on places like Scandinavia where they have free Healthcare, free childcare, free daycare, etc, women still choose to work less The narrative always ignores this too

make more money isn't necessarily a positive thing ... Exactly That's the genius in their message. A man who sacrifices his life slaving away all day at work is the privileged one solely because he earns more money. That is how privilege and equality is defined today

Of course But it's never framed that way. Instead it's "Women earn less and the reason is oppression and inequality and the solution is even more benefits, outreach or otherwise pro-discrimination bias in their favor" The fact that women have the privilege to freely and happily choose more work life balance jobs, retire early or not work at all - all without the social penalty men face is to be completely ignored The fact that they live longer with so much more time with their family is ignored …

The wage gap inequality is now the earnings gap inequality meaning it's not enough to be paid equally for the same work, if men work longer hours in higher paying jobs that means they earn more that means it's unfair. And The number of CEOs isn't 50 50. It's not enough to have equal opportunity for these jobs (or more than equal when you consider AA), the outcome must be 50 50 or that's unfair too This is how equality is measured today

That said, do women really need pick up artist coaching? You're giving them too much credit. The "coaching" is simply to target the hottest guy in the room, stand next to him, engage in a polite, plausible deniability type of way, then have the guy do all the actual heavy lifting of escalating and risking rejection
/r/MensRights21/02/24 12:34 PM

Their moral arguments against women doing this are completely disingenuous I think the criticism of 4 and 5 women only considering men in the 7 to 8 range is valid Standards should be realistic, yes
/r/PurplePillDebate08/01/24 12:52 PM

It’s absolutely crazy how much success have on dating apps. Yet... a majority of women strongly dislike OLD in spite of all those matches?

I think the thought process is in this exact moment, the man (most likely) is not in immediate danger. He has the ability to defend himself at least until the authorities arrive - in this case, surrounded by flight attendants, with the police waiting when they land. When people rush to intervene, they do so (in their minds) because the person is NOT able to defend themselves. If a young ghetto woman was beating up on an old man, people would step in, etc.

dating men drastically beneath them A male CEO/senior executive would have no problem dating an admin assistant. A male physician would have no problem dating a nurse or a therapist. A famous male actor would have no problem dating someone who is "only" a teacher, etc. None of these are true if you reverse the genders
/r/PurplePillDebate26/12/23 12:32 PM

There's too much meanness on both sides There isn't though, that's the point. Outside of manosphere subs on Reddit, you see this on dating apps and in the mainstream media, it's perfectly fine and widely accepted for women to proudly and defiantly make their height demands, often with mocking and insulting undertones. Where men by contrast have to tiptoe around the subject with very polite wording. It's not a both sides issue

No I don’t know anyone that has that expectation. It doesn't really exist. If a man has a preference to not want children, either his own or the woman he's dating, no one will care either way. A lot of women don't want to date single parent Dads too.

No it's not. Women want a leader, and you're deferring to her by doing that Unfortunately, a lot of women who would otherwise be interested feel awkward and uncomfortable texting the guy first. Even though he clearly made the first move, they feel the guy should be doing this part too.

What's happening now is everyone is afraid to escalate Everything starts and ends with some polite intro small talk, no one takes to leap to actually risking rejection by asking for numbers, etc 99% of dating advice is something like, "ask her a question about what's she's doing" ignoring the most important part about escalating Everyone waiting for the other person to get the hint and take all the risk

It’s also weird to assume that there aren’t any men looking for relationships on dating apps. Good point. I think it's just typically Reddit femcel speak. The female version of "women only what to date 6'3" Chad"

Not to worry, the mainstream has got them covered with new clever term to get them out of accountability: The "glass cliff": The concept of the glass cliff is that women are more likely to be appointed as leaders when an organisation is in a time of crisis, so that their position is seen as more precarious than male counterparts. https://www.theguardian.com/business/2023/nov/05/over-the-glass-cliff-female-chief-executives-have-shorter-tenure-than-men-due-to-crisis-management-roles#:~:text=Women%…

The observation in the article that women living in crime ridden criminal hell holes like Camden, NJ don't have a lot of good options - drugs and crime, not only unemployed, but not looking for work, incarcerated, no desire to commit, etc, etc, etc. She's right. Now, her other example of the pretty white woman I don't believe for a second. That's solely related to her refusing to be realistic with her standards vs. screening for height, advanced degrees, full head of hair, etc, etc, etc, etc.

She's referencing Camden, NJ which is one of the worst crime neighborhoods in the country. I think the criticism makes sense in this context. You're not going to find a great husband in a crime ridden ghetto.

The complaint is the complete lack of honesty from women. In this example, everything they say they claim they want (i.e. "a respectful boyfriend who genuinely cares") is thrown away if the Bad Boy is hot enough

I've been in male spaces my whole life just wanting to be treated like a man Except... you wouldn't. Men are often hostile and confrontational to each other or rude or indifferent. The entire tone changes around women. People are much softer, much nicer, much more welcoming, much less likely to be hostile or aggressive. You have no idea.

A woman can have the same or more amount of fat as a man, and the woman will be hot, sexy and fuckable. Damn. That's a great point I never considered. Fat distribution is the key.

The bar for attractiveness is just much higher with men. True, however women would argue that they more than counterbalance this by being much more forgiving if the guy can "make up for it in other ways" - great sense of humor, super talented at playing the guitar, below average coworker who super fun to be around, great in sports, etc. The list goes on and on. This doesn't really apply to us men. The super funny co-worker with a great personality who is a virtuoso on the piano doesn't help her …

Believe it or not, the reasons behind this sentiment isn't something like, "men are disposable, who cares if they die?" vs "children and most women are virtually defenseless where most men at least have a chance to fight back".

here’s also the problem that many women don’t want a “stay at home dad” Exactly. Feminists always ignore the giant elephant in the room. When men act outside their gender role, it is women overwhelmingly who reject this and demand he stays in his lane. Feminism always ignores this vs. the usual scolding of men for being too fragile

how come fathers don't have to give up their careers?" and the obvious answer there is "they chose to make their careers the priority over staying home with children". Women, overwhelmingly, and their dating preferences for mate selections, requires men to be in this provider/max earning role. Women create this gender role and then feminists act like they're victims at the end of the year because he earned more income that was expected and demanded of him

governments should have a national daycare program They have that in most places in Europe and women still choose to work less hours
