Please look into CBT methods and coping mechanisms for controlling binge eating. I have BED and have gained 100 pounds in the last year, another year I lost half my body weight in 8 months. EDs snowball and get worse and worse every day. Every day it gets harder to turn back, every day I wish I would have started so long ago. My body is destroyed. You said you only do it a couple times a month and hopefully you don't starve or purge alongside it. You seem very self-aware and I hope you can get a…

I agree with everything you've said. Off the top of my head, the practicing Christians I know are certainly not the kindest people I've met! Not by a long shot... I used to work at Starbucks when I was younger and we would all argue over who worked Sunday midday because that's when the church-goers come in and they have some fiery tongues. Lol. No one has made me feel as bad about myself as a wholesome looking mom with 6 cute kids in her van when she has to wait in a line hahaha

However, I am 20 so that may change at some point? haha

SAME. Also, all I see from new mothers is stress. Their relationships fall apart, they miss out on things they love, they talk about feeling like a shell of a person... it's hard for me to consider the idea of having children rationally - it seems like a purely instinctual urge to me? I don't know. I feel "maternal instincts" towards animals. Yeah yeah I know how stereotypical that is. But I have an emotional reaction to animals. I want to protect them, I feel warm and fuzzy and can't help but…

I wouldn't really mind except for the fact that it's women he knows. That immediately makes it inappropriate to me. It's not really like celebrities/models as eye candy, it's women he personally knows that he is fantasizing about having sex with. I really doubt he is friends with these women because they are interesting - it's solely based on these looks. I would be uncomfortable because the second he gets a chance to hook up with one of them...

It's a little odd how much this centers on the person's looks. I guess men are much more visual than us. Attraction is all about the way they make me feel and the "vibe" they give off to me.

I'm so glad this has helped you! I hear about so many people having this reaction to birth control pills. The percentage of women who experience adverse affects from hormonal birth control is astronomical. I can hardly believe it when I hear it from so many people honestly! I'm the exact opposite - it makes my cycle bearable. Without it I have debilitating cramps, long 6-10 day periods, often two periods per month, horrible mood swings and food cravings while on my period, and I ALSO have unco…

Cerave is just the best! I love it. I've tried La Mer for a few weeks at a time and genuinely liked Cerave more!

I really need to up my routine but always hate finding new skincare products and makeup! I'm the worst at picking them out, especially when it comes to the right colors for me and I never know how to choose products. I have acne in the corners of my chin pretty bad and I'm half Persian and am out in the sun a LOT so my skin tone is always changing - I swear one day I'm tan and the next I'm not! I use all drugstore products and have always wanted to branch out but it's sooo daunting. I also would…

Violence or aggression in any way. Stingy. Gets caught up in "drama" despite being an adult. Doesn't like animals (idc if they want pets or not but not connecting with animals is a huge red flag to me). And of course, having different fundamental values from me. I had a very rough, poor, often horrific childhood, so I'm in no position to judge based on a person's past and don't go by that at all. Most of the people I know have really been through some shit. To diverge a bit, I've also only had…

Exactly. I don't get into the "one of the guys" thing at all, because I'm way too sensitive and can't joke around in the way men often do with their friends. This doesn't mean I can't have male friends or anything of course, but I just try to keep a barrier up that says "I'm still an exceptionally sensitive girl, so keep that in mind" lol!

I'm so glad to see this! I'm into eccentric, weird things so I feel like it only makes sense for me to have an alternative look. I've read so many times on RP forums that an alternative look is an automatic red flag. I admittedly understand why because most alt people are weirdos of course (lol) but I'm happy other people here can relate! I'm really into pinup fashion and vintage/retro clothing and I've been into metal, punk and all sorts of alt music and the surrounding culture since I was like…

Oh gosh. I have a similar problem, my "thing" is being really involved in the hardcore, punk, and metal music scene and I have an alternative look and interests. I'm just a weird, unconventional person in a lot of ways that I've had trouble relating to traditional and conservative men with, even though I do share their values we usually have completely different personalities and interests that I feel would scare them away. The thing is, I completely stereotype where I see someone and only think…

Thank you! The pinup style is definitely hard to get into - I have little insecurities that I might look like I'm in a Halloween costume sometimes, but recently my friend actually said to me "you know, you pull off that look so well, so many people who do it look like they're playing dress up" and I was like I'M VALIDATED!! lol :P Maaaaybe? It's so strange because for the MOST part, I think the "gaydar" is just an intuitive thing. You know how sometimes you'll see a guy and just feel like he's…

This happens to me too! I am a little alternative though, and from what you said it doesn't seem like you would fit that so I have no idea! It may be little idiosyncrasies with how you dress or come off that would be hard to explain - for the most part, the gaydar is just intuitive. lol! Here's my personal anecdote: I strictly wear dresses/skirts, have soft almost waist-length hair, wear feminine makeup, definitely come off as very girly but I get approached by women occasionally, or people ki…

It really confuses me how much material is out there of women saying "guys NEVER ask girls on dates any more, they just try to booty call us!" and that it's so relatable for a majority of the population. To be fair, I'm pretty young but I've always gone on dates...? I mean, you experience things like guys trying to pick you up when random people approach you on the street and such, but just decline and get on with your day. Who are these men that you actually KNOW who are asking you to "NeTfLiX …

If he was 20 when he started seeing his aunt, he was 21 when it ended thus the time where he was meeting strangers off the internet was two years ago or less. He obviously has serious issues and needs a lot of time and therapy before getting into a serious relationship, I imagine he will continue to have extreme problems with sex down the line if that step isn't taken. These desires don't simply go away - they grow the longer you let them fester.

Also, I would like to consider myself very feminine but I also have masculine interests and I find that my attitude stands out a lot among so many other women who try to emulate the masculine energy that's around them. I'm very into metal/punk/most alt rock music and go to shows all the time which can get very physical and are pretty full of "macho" guys, I do a lot of DIYs and building furniture, I love shooting, backpacking, fishing, leatherworking and archery. Feminine is an attitude above al…

Nope! My boyfriend is a mechanic and I've actually asked him about this subject. Think about basically any masculine skill one could have and he's probably a master at it - construction, cars, electronics of all kinds, etc. He's told me that men in those fields generally don't gain feelings for the women who work alongside them due to their extremely masculine attitudes/appearances, not just because they like a "guy thing". I honestly wasn't sure until I asked him, but it made sense! He just tol…

I'm in the exact same boat, down to our ages and the age of our boyfriends! I had a REALLY rough childhood and was basically a delinquent by the age of 12 - most people go through their "party phase" at 21, I went through mine from 12 - 15, trying just about every drug under the sun, drinking all the time, getting arrested, hanging out with much older people, coming very close to being kidnapped/raped/murdered etc. I started doing online school at 12 and my mom would be gone for weeks at a time …

I'm not sure where you're located of course, but I always like to go on day trips a couple hours out of town! Recently I took my boyfriend to a state park in a small town 1.5 hour away from home and hiked for a while, which was surrounded by farms so we got to see a bunch of animals like donkeys and ostriches (we're huge animal lovers if you can't tell), swam in a beautiful creek with no one else around, went snorkeling in a spring that has a shallow cave system, went to a farmer's market and go…

I would say get them removed if you don't like tattoos in general. Personally I love my tattoos but I got one during my very young delinquent phase that I let my 13 year old friend do (I was also 13... great decision making skills, naturally) that I recently got covered with a beautiful floral piece. I WEPT when I realized the eyesore was gone. $6,000 seems like a lot but if you won't be hurting for the money I would consider putting some towards it for a bit - or visiting a country where tattoo…

I felt the same way, then I realized how unhappy everyone around me seemed and that it was obviously not the path to a healthy, intimate relationship. An example: One person I know who has children has two kids with two different men, and a different guy who she is now married to. He takes her children to school, works all day, then comes home and does everything around the house. I know this sounds like a BS story someone would tell on the MGTOW subreddit (lol), but I was at her house long ago …

Personally, most of the people I know have a mental disorder, including most family members. I go to therapy just for someone to talk to but I have no diagnosis. It seems like most of the people that I find interesting, engaging, and kind struggle with something. I think that's due to my interests though - weird sense of humor, alternative music, art, taxidermy, etc eclectic interests draw lots of different people in IMO. None of them are irresponsible, shortsighted, violent, mean, or anything l…

- Find the shape you want your eyebrows to be and have them done that way! Don't be afraid to change them drastically. I'm Middle Eastern and pluck my facial hair probably every two days. If you think their darkness makes it worse, don't be afraid to dye them!! Sometimes making your eyebrows a tad bit lighter changes a LOT. - Get medication for acne. - Find a good treatment for dark circles. Personally I don't mind mine and think they can be easily covered up with concealer, but there are lots o…

What do you mean? And I'm not sure, actually! I haven't discussed MBTI types with too many people. A lot of people that I ask say their type has changed every time they take the test.

Sorry, I just logged into this account of not having much access to the computer for a few weeks! Yes, I definitely am. Something I'm glad to have overcome is getting super fired up in debates. I definitely relate to the "devil's advocate" title that is given to ENTP types. I find myself sticking up for viewpoints I don't actually have just because I feel this NEED to have the other people fully understand every possible way of looking at something.

ENTP-A. "The debater"... super accurate :) I've taken it probably 5 times and always get the same results over the past few years.

Nope! While I do think it's more harmful to women to sleep around, and they're biologically inclined to do so less than men, that doesn't change the fact that I feel the moral implications are the same between genders. As in, I suppose it's more "natural" for men to sleep around, but I don't see it as any more acceptable just because of that! Being SUPER promiscuous indicates poor character to me, that they don't place importance on intimate relationships, and that they don't mind taking advanta…

Haha, we both talk about how awful it is, but I will take it regardless if/when we get married. I just like the symbolism behind it.

I realize this seems incredibly shallow but I actually really don't like my boyfriend's last name. It's his biological father's, who he has never met (I don't get why he got his last name) and it sounds like... the sound one makes while trying really hard to spit (sorry). He actually wants to change his name to his mother's side of the family that he was raised around, which I like, so I'd happily take that one! :P

Yes! My house has a mori feel to it too. I never really knew there was a name for it but I love the shabby/boho foresty feel mixed with japanese fashion, which I also love.

My style is a weird mix of mori kei, pin-up/retro and funky thrifted pieces. I only secondhand shop. I love plaids, velvet, leather, lace... all kinds of fabrics that pop. I love skater dresses and skirts, I have a small waist and very wide hips and big thighs so anything that accentuates that positively. I live in Florida, so it's a bit hard to layer and I wish I could wear cute Winter outfits!
