How incredibly touching, he seems like he would have made a great grandfather and mentor. Hell, it seems like he practically was one to all of those soldiers.

"The entire continent of India..." I couldn't help it. My sides exploded.

You could have handled it better. Your points were not clear (enough), and I think she assumed you were challenging the right to have an abortion (even though you didn't state that.) Also, she's a coworker. Discretion is the better part of valor, especially when you're dealing with someone you see (nearly) every day.

Southern Europe (especially Italy) has some issues, not going to deny that.

Could someone please add something to the main page saying this subreddit is not affiliated with /r/rapingwomen and /r/beatingwomen?

As requested, evidence. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feminism#Nineteenth_and_early_twentieth_centuries

|It doesn't and has never. Hold on buddy. You have to understand that feminism was at one point a solely women's rights movement. Sure the word is thrown around now in all sorts of connotations but feminism used to apply to things like female suffrage.

I fully support your viewpoint. It is calm, rational and well put. Factory2 is very angry and not really arguing on the same level as you. If I could rephrase what I think you're trying to say; Women and men BOTH have important gender based issues to address. Advocacy on both sides of the isle is fine unless it's bigoted.

Seriously, please, shut up. Your arguments are based heavily in paranoia and bias and frankly its embarrassing to listen to. Feminism is not inherently bad. Mens Rights is not inherently bad. Both sets of advocates can coexist peacefully as long as they are striving for true equality.

Thank you. I hate how it turned into a debate. I did my best to be as neutral and supportive as possible.

Why are people downvoting this guy? He didn't say anything about not being an advocate. All he said was we should remain "rational and clear headed." That's something we should all aspire to. There are solid reasons for being an MRA, we don't need to endorse blind rage as a tactic.

Fyi it's a clip from a comedic sketch done by a German woman. However I do find the themes* relevant to the common miscategorization of regrettable sex as rape. *in the context of the gif. The sketch has a somewhat different tone than the animated clip.

Thank you. Your post was relevant, interesting and well put. I do not know why you are being downvoted nor do I believe you should be.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
