There are stories of rich men, pretending to not have a lot of wealth, because they want to find the one that will love them for who they are, and not what they have. People who are tall can also have that same desire, except I just can't disguise my height. I would want someone who still loves me, even if I somehow inexplicably lost a few inches. What I do to get the best deal (and you may already thought of this) is call several stores dealing in gold and silver, and let them bid each other up by letting them know when I got a better deal and give them a better opportunity to top it. May seem like I'm giving them a hard time, but the worst thing they could do is say no.

I think it would help if you saw the price ratio of gold vs silver over the last 100 years. That would help make it make sense as to why Peter recommended as he did. Also silver has other factors that will drive up the price in the near future. It’s being consumed in industry faster than its being mined out of the ground. Which will lead to a squeeze in supply which is very good for silver holders.

One thing he has recommended recently is that its possible to get even more gold later by trading the gold you have now for silver. Right now the ratio of gold/silver prices is so lopsidedly against silver.
