You want those traditionally-minded women - you find them and don't demand it from the rest. That's the idea.

I remember her from Gamergate - that was 2013/3014. That was memorable because it gave rise to internet manosphere/incel culture.

What kind of help do you exactly need? To be reminded that not AWALT? I mean we could, but you need to be able to emotionally self-regulate and work through your relationship problems like trust issues without falling back into misogynist BS, because nobody else can do it for you. Love and trust are a choice.

Nah, I am saying: theoretically, the female alternative to Fresh'n'Fit would gathering such douchebags and presenting them as the entirety of male population. We are not quite there...LOL

Nuance is missing, but then I do recognize the OP LOL... Anyways, it's just a different set off drawbacks for different life stages. Nobody is pushing for procreation closer to menopause, it's just it is still doable for some if they really really want it and have resources to do it.

It's reasonable for adult humans to choose to act aggressive in some situations and soft in others: not being able to tune it is a sign is emotional immaturity.

Nope, no hypocrisy here. The whole point is that there is no symmetry within current framework? It's just strategic pluralism and it's a behavioral pattern for all humans. It's normal to use different mating strategies for different contexts because it's a different set of needs and requirements. For any person of any gender to use the same metric for choosing ONS fling vs long-term partner would be just plain fckn dumb, duh.

I personally found that "hardwired attraction" actively projected on me deeply uncomfortable because my experience shows that it comes as a part of the entire"manly dominant man" behavioral package And I am not saying I am particularly hot, just a type that's particularly attractive to creeps. Ugh.

It's not one thing that is solely responsible for the stigma - it's a whole load: (1) cultural and religious norms deeming anything sexual as immoral and deviant (2) association with crime and marginalization (3) gender inequality and mysoginy (4) ongoing negative media portrayals and moral panic (5) arrogance/contempt that prevent examination, understanding and empathy

Female attractiveness in patriarchal paradigm is defined by youthfulness, submissiveness, high libido and fertility. Would it be nice to feel visually appreciated by men as much as some rosy-cheeked high-schooler in crop top and shorts? Thanks, but no, thanks. As someone suffering from "perennial cutesy babe" syndrome I am happy my greys are finally getting more visible (not sufficiently so, unfortunately).

It's just the perpetual lack of nuance, sigh. "Tough" is fine in some situations, just as "aggressive", "cocky", "assertive" etc. It's just situational awareness and emotional intelligence that will tell you if those are ok, or maybe you need to dial back and be "kind", "agreeable" or "gentle" instead. Emotionally mature adult homo sapiens (of any gender) should presumably be able to employ a wide range of emotions and tune them depending on the context. And you can learn doing it in therapy if …

As I said - it's both. They both are not true to themselves, but manifest it in different manners. There is more focus on avoidants now unlike before, but it's a very recent thing (last three-four years maybe?) and it's just the pendulum swinging in the other direction to find the balance. That's because the anxious ones have been considered the root of all relational problems until recently - the whole "co-dependent" rhetoric is very much that, and the labels of overemotional, hyper reactive, c…

Both re-live their dysfunctional patterns of nervous dysregulation and one is not better than the other. It doesn't mean you are wrong in describing what you see, btw, that was pretty accurate - it's just that you should be able to see through and work on your own contribution to the dynamic, as well. Avoidants are more likely to avoid self-reflection and just check out when distressed (hence the name 🤪) - it's a defense mechanism that protects psyche from pain of dysregulation. But it's false a…

Yes, it probably belongs elsewhere.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/25 11:04 AM

I would label that as "insecurity" rather than "emotional unavailability" Anxious and avoidant tendencies are both rooted in early attachment trauma and trigger each other into their own patterns. A lot of times there is a bit of this and that in every person and someone acting anxious can withdraw. Relationships work only if both partners put effort to intropsect and work on their side of the dynamics, but avoidants often check out completely.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/25 08:39 AM

How is this related to what I said?

/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/25 08:22 AM

One can be kind and considerate in some situations and punch a nazi when necessary. Rigid patterns skewing either way are not a sign of mental well-being and balanced character development. I have been working on learning to choose appropriate responses in therapy myself.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/25 11:07 PM

READ THE ROOM
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/25 08:36 PM
11

You mean being an excruciatingly boring doormat is a losing strategy? No shit 🤪
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/25 08:34 PM
4

The need to sexualize platonic relationships may have root in early relational trauma and it often gets in the way of forming adult relationships. And women are not immune to it, obviously. This can be worked through in therapy - that's why erotic transference/countertransference are extremely common between therapist/client and are viewed a developmental stage that client is eventually able to grow out of.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/25 08:32 PM

Again, the bad ones are those who overstep boundaries because they cannot read social cues. Because there is a minority of men who seem to understand this more women are getting wary of being approached.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/25 08:21 PM
4

Ah nah, there are many dudes who act pushy and don't take no for an answer because somebody told them that's the manly way. So it's the importance of reading the room that should be taught as basic most important step, rather than telling them that it's about acting this or that way. Otherwise, they will come back complaining that it didn't work and it's all women's fault 😅

/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/25 06:45 PM

It's about being able to find balance and" read the room" aka existing context - and sometimes you need to step back politely, sometimes you ramp it up: neither being a perpetual doormat or aggressively pushy in every situation are supposed to work well.

/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/25 06:58 PM

Ehmmm...one can choose to act balanced and keep things slow DESPITE the impulse, right?? E.g. I know that I tend to fall fast for men and develop irrational limerence fast, but I am also aware by now that it's an unhealthy pattern. So I choose to step back and slow down so that I have a chance to develop a better perspective and possibly a healthier relationship.

No, you miss the point. Objectification manifests in dehumanizing narratives and behaviors - it's literally about reducing a woman to being a sex object. You can still make a point of getting to know a woman and treating her as a human being and acting in a respectful and mindful manner WHILE being sexually attracted to her.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/25 04:37 PM

FFS. Essentialism has historically been used by men as an excuse for assault/rape/harrassment and other kinds of dehumanizing blatant disregard for consent that most women have faced. That's how objectification plays out at this point - it's stubbornly continuing to disregard collective female experiences, their feelings and emotions, fears and vulnerabilities and insisting they should provide satisfaction of men's essential urges. Women do know - they are just not interested in being treated li…

Exactly , it's just narcissistic idealization rooted in navel-gazing fantasy. It is crushed fast by reality of living human. That's when women are devalued and declared evil opportunistic whores. There is time and place when asking for it is ok - that implies certain existing level of safety, communication, mutual attraction. In all other scenarios it's potentially dangerous: if a rando suddenly declares he wants to fuck
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/25 11:40 PM

Because it was historically on women to provide hermeneutic labour. And men refuse to figure it out themselves.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/25 10:53 AM

It's surreal how men manage to blame women for their economic oppression. And elites are happy that mysoginy keeps these goobers sufficiently distracted: they just have to stoke that dumpster fire a bit from time to time.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/25 10:49 AM

It's not black-and-white. As someone neurodivergent who had an autistic husband - low emotional intelligence can lead to a lot of emotional hangups that the person him/herself should be willing to dedicate a lot of his/her own effort to resolving. It's possible to develop it, to learn to read social cues and practice cognitive empathy - that will allow you to interact like normies and they won't be turned off. I am saying this as someone who did that in therapy while my husband refused 🤷
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/25 10:33 AM

I am neurodivergent. But I put a lot of effort into learning to pay attention to social cues and use that information to change what and how I say to people. That's literally what caring is. If the person cannot reciprocate it's a sign that /she lacks in empathy and emotional intelligence and that's not a good premise for a relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/25 06:39 PM
6

I'd be much more careful and be paying close attention to words/behaviors, for sure.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/25 06:18 PM
3

It's just for a lot of miserable and victimized fckwhits control/power/coercion or fantasizing about them is the only thing that makes them feel good. Tate sells his bottomfeeders the dream of being the bully on top of the hierarchy (like any right-wing ideology). I get the point of your video, I guess this can fly with taints because they are used to this kinda painful format.
/r/ExRedPill26/04/25 12:15 PM
5

I couldn't finish watching the video. You are right, of course, he is a textbook narcissist and predator selling oilsnake of "freedom from the matrix" to dumb kids - this has been discussed plenty in a lot of detail, e.g. just in the last weeks Behind the Bastards did two update episodes on him.
/r/ExRedPill26/04/25 09:45 AM

I knew a sub guy and he said that it was actually more fun if aversion/disgust were evoked. So maybe that, too.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/25 08:55 PM

I actually have a suspicion that airing it out this way is also a kink. Kinda like those guys calling suicide/emergency hotlines to get off.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/25 07:11 PM

Here you go again - extrapolating your kink on gender dynamics. Patriarchal norms of masculinity (supported by some men/women) suggest that men aren't supposed to be emotional/have difficult feelings. But, of course, men hurt, too. Having triggers/fears/insecurities is unfortunately just normal human experience. In close relationships we should be able to be mutually vulnerable with the partner and expect them to respond to it with kindness and cater to a certain degree if they can. That's what …
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/25 07:08 PM

Nothing guarantees sex LOL. But it's not a reason not to have any life or be a decent fun human. That would def. increase the odds.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/25 06:12 PM
1

I didn't ask them out per se, it's more of escalating after we were already flirting/hanging out for a while in some common setting.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/25 11:40 AM
1

I just wasn't approached? I actually approached all the guys I dated myself and they are just average looking, too. They all had girlfriends before me and after me, too. My ex-husband had two really gorgeous exes, actually, and he is a total dork.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/25 08:32 AM
1

I dated two Chads - a narcissistic asshole and a sweetheart one.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/25 09:06 PM
1

That's just so silly. Men vastly prefer hot chicks, too - I am not one and am not bitter. Pretty privilege is a universal thing for humans fullstop.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/25 09:04 PM
2

Exactly. I mean humans learn behaviors mostly by observation, not by reading instructions. I don't even understand this "nobody told us" RP gripe.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/25 08:03 AM
-2

That's correct, immature impulsive people will do crazy things.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/25 11:53 PM
2

I am not sure I understand..? If a person has gone through the process of healing and unpacking their own traumas/insecurities/failures/fears - it's totally reasonable to want to be with who has done the same. But here we are talking about OP's topic and that's more of permanently online sociopathic incels whining about unobtainable ethereal pure love. This unrealistic fantasm just perpetuates their bitter loneliness - just like the rest of RP premises.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/25 11:46 PM
5

Absolutely. It's exploitative and dehumanizing. E.g. Tate's ponzi scheme grifting off teenage angst and misery - like it is some uncanny caricature of late stage capitalist structures and dynamics. Some truly vile shit 🤢 "shudder". If anyone is curious - Robert Evans did a great job examining Tate's business in Behind the Bastards.
/r/ExRedPill19/04/25 10:53 PM
1

Absolutely. It's some uncanny caricature of late stage capitalism - its dehumanizing structures/dynamics magnified to absurd degree. Literally a brainrotting ponzi scheme preying on sad and lonely kids. Fuck Tate, he is vile 🤢
/r/ExRedPill19/04/25 10:43 PM

My first choice is Keanu, actually.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/25 08:17 PM

Because they themselves don't know how to grow and learn.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/25 08:13 PM

That's truly shocking. I feel you, sis 🫂 But now that we are aware of our female rights we shall finally receive our (over)dues ...RIGHT?!? 🧐 I am so very ready for well-deserved FIRE.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/25 08:08 PM
8

FR. I went into therapy to finally learn what healthy relationships should be like after my son was born. Anything before that was me successfully imitating toxic my family dynamics 😬 But these guys here...they were born into perfection, purity and maturity, apparently. Unlike lowly commoners who have to make an effort to grow and learn 🤧
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/25 07:42 PM
2

Nobody ever told you to that you need to work out, dress well, talk nicely, take care of yourself, learn new things, read, hang out with friends etc.? I am far from exemplary parent to my son, unfortunately, but it's just basics of parenting a human. Just put a chin-up bar in his doorway, btw.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/25 05:34 PM
-2

Dude LMAO...wtf🥲 I was saying this is not achievable for majority of people in the world - because of relative rigidity of social stratification. Just like American Dream TM, you know. Maybe OP should go touch grass? But then "dreaming big and unrealistic" is an age norm for kids/teens.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/25 05:06 PM

I assume there are some narcissistic men who relish in those imaginary hierarchies because they can only feel ok about themselves if they get to feel superior to someone else. Luckily, it's not a need for most people so they don't have to obsess over your sad crab bucket fantasy.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/25 04:42 PM

I know, right?!? 😤
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/25 04:32 PM

Congrats, you discovered how algorithms have been responsible for creating public opinions over the last ten years. There was a relevant discussion of a very recent book by a Facebook director the other day
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/25 03:57 PM

Maslow's made an attempt to conceptualize human needs and suggested a hierarchy theory. And there is an ongoing discussion on social sciences whether sex belongs to the base tier or not - that is besides other critiques E.g. relevant discussion
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/25 03:43 PM

I think you should just roll with more edgy meta "nobody owes anything to anyone fullstop" - really no reason to pick only fidelity out of the entire range.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/25 03:28 PM
1

Sure, it doesn't happen often. But often once a lifetime is enough to fuck you up in a major way. I bet those of you who are telling women to be more trusting will be the first ones to tell her she should have been more careful/known better when that happens LOL Besides, there are a lot of other minor pesky behaviors associated with men to consider.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/25 03:09 PM
1

"Acting"? If you have to act then you are doing something wrong. You still have to be yourself - it just takes time to learn a person better.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/25 08:57 AM
-1

I am submissive with the right partner exactly because I am the opposite in my daily life and need a fckn break 😬 Also, dominatrix services are often sought out by men who are otherwise at the top of hierarchies. So submission/domination dynamics don't have to extend beyond bedroom for everyone.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/25 08:46 AM

Cmon. There are a lot of masculine victimhood narratives - like say...the entirety of incel lore e.g. LOL
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/25 08:37 AM

WTF. Bro...
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/25 08:31 AM

Plenty people do that when they are young. But it's not a good idea for the first date: safety before spontaneity.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/25 10:47 AM
1

And then men here are griping how easy it is for a woman to get laid. Ahah... SURE, JAN My favorite story is how I asked a guy to slow down and his response was: "You are not my boss!" He was forty - not four, not fourteen - fucking forty years old. Seriously, fuck this shit 🤡
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/25 07:48 AM

Bro... what's with this need to be spoon-fed information about outside world? I really don't get it. Nobody told me I was anxious and not attractive at school or there were hotter more popular girls out there - like... I noticed! All you need to do is some observation and reflection. And imitation if you want. That's literally how humans learn social behaviours.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/25 07:42 AM
2

I agree. Discourse should include discussion of state mandated waifus for every basement dweller, e.g.

I did personally find that men's baseline expectations have shifted towards more kinky/violent and less vanilla - even at first encounter and without asking for consent. Part of the reason why I no longer date.

No idea where you are getting this from. Most women will tell 35 is still ok, but it's better not to drag it on for much longer. Perimenopause is just around the corner and is not fun with lil kids.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/25 03:50 PM

What are you even talking about? It's not common advice at all...
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/25 01:14 PM

That was so wonderful to read 💝

True, they are scared of their own sociopathic dehumanizing projections.
/r/ExRedPill08/04/25 05:18 PM
7

They are not threat narratives LOL. What's with self-victimizing, geez? Just don't do those things and you are golden and deserve a praise and a pat on the back. I mean any human deserves a pat on the back (not a blowjob, mind you) or multiple for not being a POS, really. Here is yours "there, there".
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/25 02:49 PM
3

Don't kill, don't rape, act decent, don't expect women to be automatically interested in looking up to men, fucking and emotionally placating them, giving birth and raising kids, cooking and cleaning. Talking about victimization - ffs... none of it is about seizing power LMAO. It's literally about being human, not acting up and having options. Just like men do, you know.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/25 02:07 PM

I know a redpiller who loved Alan Watts and Ram Dass. Knew LOL. Rightwinger mysoginist psychonauts are not uncommon, unfortunately - think melon husk, e.g. But I agree that it could work for some.
/r/ExRedPill01/04/25 06:08 PM

That's a pile of horseshit LOL. I am a hardcore leftie who is not in with dems on all the points at all, but voting against corrupt rapist oligarch was an absolute priority for everyone at least somewhat aware. If there was some trans issue that swayed them towards foul belligerent trumpism they have a fuckton of issues to work through before they are even able to focus on reality. They literally voted in the bully who wouldn't piss on them if they were on fire - it's painfully obvious and is hi…
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/25 03:50 PM
1

Sure bro, it is not. You are being willfully obtuse - that is what it is. It is not a strict binary. It's a spectrum in which men tend to fall more on one side and women on the other and we can make some generalizations based on that. That's what the person you are responding to did. But you are really interested in making it into a discussion about strict binary you presumed it was. OK.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/25 12:49 PM
1

No, it's not binary. But there are way too many more men willing to stick it into anything and women disinterested. This dynamic is spectacularly skewed.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/25 11:52 AM
1

I mean you are right, but in the end it's that additional percent or two that made a difference in swing states.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/25 11:39 AM
1

Well right, that's why we have so many RP folks here whining that only females can satisfy that deep urge for human connection. It's just a convenient stance - simultaneously superior and entitled, but also belittling and dismissive. Well right, you may continue.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/25 10:52 AM
1

It's not anything innately female/feminine, it's a learned behavior that's socially expected from women.so they are more conditioned to display it. I myself had to learn those skills in therapy because my parents were unable to genuinely give any fucks about my well-being. And some of my therapists were (caring, empathetic and emotionally intelligent) men, btw.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/25 07:20 PM
9

It's a fancy word, eh? 🤪 I read the essay about it and it was spot on. I am also pretty sure that so called Boston marriages will become more and more popular - aka women choosing to co-live in platonic partnerships.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/25 01:24 PM

There is a good reason for that: emotional care in relationships is delegated to women. It's an extremely important part of relationships. But most men won't do that to each other because it comes with a stigma of being "feminine" They will also not reciprocate it in the partnership so it's dismissive and exploitative dynamics. So if women check out of it and choose to mutually offer that support to each other - men most often flop on their own.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/25 01:19 PM
18

The truth is that by default women are expected to invest a fuckton of one-sided effort into relationship - all the domestic and hermeneutic labour and are also supposed to look good, smell nice and act decent. To find a man who will reciprocate all that is next to impossible. And the relationship is just not worth the hassle if he doesn't. The on-going joke among my female friends is that we all would love to have a wife.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/25 07:45 AM
2

"Be yourself" is said in the hopes that people are not actually shits - they have integrity, empathy aspirations, willingness to learn, grow and evolve. I only recently realized that some people couldn't give two hoots about any of that. To be fair: be your shitty self and let it bite you back is also a solid dating advice, but for a different reason.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/25 08:58 PM
3

"Feeling protected"? She needs to feel safe and know that the partner will have your back if necessary (and it's a mutual thing). Every time you an RP maxima so spewed out you can just add some nuance to it and see how it magically transforms into something benign and sensible.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/25 10:06 AM

That's exactly what I said LOL - it's both. Cutting off inconsiderate assholes and bringing in the good ones instead is the best you can do for your soul. 10/10, highly recommend 💞
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/25 09:57 AM

Most of the times working through yourself you get to see why it's not working out with others. Any internal work is also reflection of external relational dynamics - it's not like it's all happening within internal vacuum.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/25 10:25 PM
4

Well, this was just the first half of the performance. Having prescribed those "immutable and inherent" qualities to women they are going to tragically whine about them, complain about women's evil nature and their obscene demands. After that they can proceed beating themselves up masochistically for having low value and once they are finished with that - declare bitter defeat in the game. Dramatic micdrop. Fckn circus, today and every day on PPD 🤡

Ever heard of capitalism? We live in a capitalist society with its premises and (often shallow or dehumanizing) ideals and it permeates every aspect of human existence. Patriarchy also means that women historically haven't have direct access to capital - only via men. Also women tend to become financially vulnerable if they give up on their career even temporarily to do unpaid household labour and caretaking. Mating strategies are influenced by multiple social and economic factors, they are not …

Triggered? I was humbly asking a polite albeit rhetorical question. Of course, know what you are saying - what a sad mindfuck, I am truly very sorry.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/25 11:28 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/25 12:34 PM

Referring to "numbers that don't lie" without providing any explanation/source for those numbers are? That level of plausible deniability must be tiring to maintain 🤧
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/25 12:33 PM

We also have data that despite seemingly having upper hand women are checking out of apps en masse - isn't that supposed to mean that they are not that much into promiscuity even if there is a grand opportunity?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/25 12:27 PM
3

No, because the take is mostly ignorant and blown out of proportion and serves the pipeline of disgruntled men channeling their rage even further into alt-right politics. The usual stuff, you know. As I said - I personally dated a guy who got his alimony upon divorce because he has been a caretaker. If ever caretaking is done by a significant number of men you will see how miraculously the narrative of "evil lazy women ripping honest men off" will change into complete opposite.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/25 06:53 PM
6

That's ragebait lifecycle for you - in manosphere or elsewhere on the Internet: something is picked up by a bunch of manfluenecers and then collectively swished around for a while by algorithms until they exhaust the viewership. That doesn't reflect the state of things in the world.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/25 08:52 PM

Absolutely.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/25 08:05 PM

Bro... have you even read my comment? Please try again. I am saying: I have had a few experiences (and multiple messages) when men pushed their sub kink and started acting on that without my consent. Being pleased in that manner is absolutely nut what I enjoy and I would argue - it's not a thing for most women. If they were so egotistical in sex then subs would have easy time finding partners, right? And - as we know - they that's not the case. Bottomline: completely centering on women's pleasur…

Sorry to hear and I am glad you are doing fine financially. Me and my single mom struggled a lot and dad showed up once in half a year with some peanuts in his pocket. He had the guts to tell me "I have completed my parental duties" when I was 16, imagine? They are depressed about having to support their child? FFS. Fucking morons.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/25 07:25 AM
3

Oh so you are basically taking your on-dimensional interpretation of your own kink and projecting it on everyone. Got it. Do you know how many men try to play out their sub kink with non-consenting and unsuspecting women LOL? Def. not an uncommon scenario that I myself experienced a lot. And tat's just a small example of what a bullshit take this whole thing is.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/25 06:36 AM

And women wouldn't complain so much about awful egoistic lovers.

I have no idea what I should make out of those numbers, but I will put it into words instead: you shouldn't be making any sexually charged comments to a woman who hasn't already clearly expressed a great deal of interest and enthusiastic willingness to interact with you further. For starters.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/03/25 04:28 PM
1

It does work on me, but I know by now that it's unhealthy, but also subconscious and automatic. It's early attachment trauma reaction (unavailable parents/terrified child) that's imprinted into the nervous system. I have made a lot of effort to recognize it and am working to develop better relational strategies. That said - those who purposefully exploit this to get their dicks wet are despicable shits. And in the end those games won't make them happy: just more empty and miserable and starving …

He really wants you to respectfully argue his nonsensical take that he pulled out of his ass, eh?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/03/25 07:34 AM

To think that a woman should be delighted at the idea of being sexually wanted some random dude that she wouldn't want to touch with a ten-foot pole? Make it make sense.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/03/25 07:31 AM
5

So women have collectively been telling you "we don't like this shit - you better stop" and you think it's *them* being disrespectful? Instead of listening and re-considering your approach? How much further down does your head go and how long can you keep it there?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/03/25 07:22 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/25 08:05 PM

That's how PPD boys like to roll LOL. The not too funny this sub is that there is a non-zero number of male goobers here LARPing as females here to provide highly sought after "*akshual* truth".
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/25 05:45 PM

They are based on extreme simplifications, manufacture mass despair&outrage and are exploited for grifting - be smarter than that? I just finished listening to Behind the Bastards podcast about Andrew Tate: Robert Evans pulls apart the entire fucked up thing beautifully,

Nah, don't buy into this bullshit. That's just a silly juxtaposition rightwingers are exploiting to attract angsty youngsters. That has always been their strategy: come along, my boy - they say, this is the only way to be the manly man - they say, we'll show you who is to blame, they say I just finished listening to Behind the Bastards podcast on Andrew Tate today: it's sad and it sucks big time and it doesn't have to be this way. I suppose we are talking covert narcissist type of nice guy as opposed to grandiose one? I seem to be attracting such kind and give too much credit to niceness because one of parents is like that. I think I finally learned my lesson after being backstabbed in the most cruel manner (by a "nice girl" btw). I find all that nauseating: the manipulative "niceness" and simping (even worshipping eew) and then behind that facade there is often a limp doormat, sadistic victimhood, cowardice, lack of init…

I don't have the experience of any kind of privilege like that by virtue of being a "mid". I have two gorgeous cousins and some pretty(-er than me that is) friends and they don't view horny men as an asset. More like unavoidable nuisance. What's with extrapolating insta anime babe outliers on the entire population btw? It's such a stupid premise. Get off insta dweeb bubble, touch some grass and look at regular (likely boring and unremarkable) folk maybe?

Yeah, this is absolutely wild. I am still proud my mom divorced my asshole dad even though we had many more financial struggles. He never wanted joint custody, would only show up once in half-a-year even though I lived fifteen minutes away from him - I would see him on PT or in the shops sometimes and he would ignore me. Wtf. Lying is a shit behavior and the responsibility is on a liar - this DARVO and narcissistic victim blaming are insidious, just cut it.

Both of those are shitty manipulative behaviors. And I'd say she should have just walked away from a conservative man asking about body count. But sorry, what was your question again?

But wait, wasn't he supposed to be good at sex and also listen to my feedback so that he could give me orgasms? I am sure you will confidently find another stupid-pilled explanation for a nice guy behavior though, so I digress. Narcissistic DARVO is circular and always wins, that's it's (lonely and bitter, but victorious) nature. Debating it makes zero sense - I guess BP/PP homies are here mostly for the sake of entertainment. I don't know if we should be terrified or bemused watching you dig yo…

LOL. It's hilarious to read. My ex-husband is 6ft - 6 figure anti-chad. Narcissistic nerd, he would def. be an incel type now (actually is LOL - as in "not dating/in relationship"), but had a vibrant social life in 90-00s in "burner" circles. He made exactly zero effort in sex/relationship despite my multiple communication attempts that he wholeheartedly resented. I wasted too much time with him because I, too, persuaded myself that he was a nice guy - like he wasn't abusive per se, right? Just …

Exactly. I think a good chunk of men's issues would be resolved by learning to deal with emotions in healthy ways and choosing to treat your homies nicely, for starters. I myself come from toxic culture/family so had to learn new ways as an adult and a mom. It's hard work, but it pays off.

For men - it's the other way round because they generally tend to be more narcissistic and therefore need to learn to notice other people's needs. I am not sure. Big part of my nostalgia is seeing it through child's eyes, I was 8 when it all collapsed. My mom and many of her peers don't miss not being able to procure even basic consumer goods - she literally had holes in her coat and had to knit my summer (!) socks, e.g. Many of those struggles I remember, but it obviously comes with a different feeling for a kid than it does for the parent. Unironically, the highest birth rates in the West are in the most progressive, feminist countries because many women actually will *choose* have kids when necessary provisions (according to women themselves) are present. That comes along with dropping birthrates elsewhere: most women will prefer to opt out if they can (unless/until they can have those provisions).

He is not THAT wrong: indeed, almost HALF of women who SHOWED UP to vote in 2016 elections cast their vote for Trump. You don't have to agree, I guess - but statistics fairly consistently report that 25-30% don't need clitoral stimulation. The myth of "everyone needs it" is so widely spread that I have to repeatedly explain to my partners why "no, really, believe me it's unpleasant - DON'T!" 😅 There are better sources than this incl. cited study, but I don't have time to be digging right now sex-ed in men's health

Yes, it would totally make sense. Similar thing "gastouderschap" is available in the Netherlands except it's not subsidised, but paid directly out of parent's pocket while being regulated by the state. Also cheaper than other childcare options. My ex-girlfriend was my son's gastouder - that's how we met 😅 Existing free municipal kindergartens are still fantastic by world standards "making muffed crying sounds in Dutch" Really it's an updated version of soviet system - there is a kindergarten in …

Please have some mercy - I am here with my naturally limited cognitive/emotional capacity of a woman in order to try and comprehend and empathise with the unbearable burden of being a man - in this particular case I am trying to imagine how much suffering it must be causing you to act like a decent human being!!!! 😭🤧

Bullshit. I once stupidly attempted to date a bitter nerdy short (that's for reference) red-piller only because his sex skills were top-notch and I was willing to bear with the rest. I know the anecdote sounds impossible/unrealistic, but I swear. He had a girlfriend for 9 years before he got pilled so plenty time to learn and practice.

I have a good one. When I politely asked to slow down (jackhammering) one guy said: "You are not my boss!" (!!!) He was 40 - not 4 and not 14 - fckn grown-up, educated and otherwise intelligent 😅

He can be situationally oblivious or lacking empathy, but other than that he sounds confident, smart and funny. And he has generally pleasant demeanor (for external purposes haha). Definitely, no masculine chad vibes - I actually thought he was gay when I first met him. I am not sure what his dating life would be with OLD because he met those women in his social circles.

No, it's not symmetrical, for sure. It's about equity, not equality. So yes I prop women up in the situations where the male counterpart wouldn't get an ounce of support. E.g. passport bros and asian brides - I generally don't support passport bro movement because it's exploitative, but if it makes a woman happier and opens prospects of better life - yes please. My ex's brother-in-law married a Filipino girl 15 years younger and she just finished her nursing school here in NL. Maybe 15 years ago…

You can have intimacy and companionship and not be predatory because no, not all male sexuality is inherently predatory - it's lack of empathy, asserting your desires without learning about wants/needs of the counterpart and just generally disregarding women's sexual autonomy that can make them so (buy doesn't have to).
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/23 06:26 AM

Right. So it's not about support and validation, it's about sex and that's exactly the reason why it all doesn't add up.

It's called social skills and confidence. Smooth talking is half the success: I am a smooth talker and can make a wall feel cared for, celebrated or entertained. It's rare that a man can do that - happened to me a few times in my lifetime and I was beyond myself (also started appreciating my own skills)

My ex-husband (autistic geek btw) dated a couple of stunners before me - one was a daughter of an Australian model and looked just like her 🥵🔥she was 5 years older - he was 19, she was 24 when they started. He started balding very early and that rapidly progressed and was fat at that time. The other one was Italian Pilates teacher. This sub tends to extrapolate things a bit too much hence the wording. I think choosing to party once a week/month for meeting people and exercising social skills is definitely worth it in any scenario. From my experience the main thing that stands in the way of autistic people being able to foster relationships is lowered empathy that doesn't allow them to relate. But if affective empathy is not kicking in it is possible to train cognitive empathy and make it a commitment to exercise it. In fact plenty of people just get by it. It's literally putting yourself in another person's shoes and evaluating whether that kind of treatment/attitude would be appreciated if it were you. You can try that e…

"Tough in dating" mostly somehow comes out as "women need to mind their CMVs and beware of the wall, stop riding the chad cock-carousel or else, and you are all narcissistic sinister calculating gold-diggers". And those statements rarely come with personal anecdotes or accounts of dating experiences.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/23 12:43 AM

I can't imagine any therapist shaming a client (of any sex) for wanting relationship/connection. It's inherently human. However it's often the case that the person is unable to tend to his emotional or other needs when not in relationship, so they can (and should) encourage building other social connections and help grow the ability to perform self-care and self-regulation.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/23 12:38 AM
1

That conditioning is a historical artifact. It can change if you start regarding it as such. Most humans throughout history didn't marry for love or to experience joy of living with/exploring each other. Most of the time it was sheer group survival. This perspective can offer a different perspective on the entire relationship paradigm.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/23 12:26 AM

It's not something inherent to women to the point that men cannot possibly pull off those behaviours. A lot of it is upbringing - am saying it as someone for whom that didn't come naturally despite said upbringing so I ended up being "not feminine" I learned to appreciate them and act accordingly only after sufficient amount of introspection and revision in therapy - because I consciously chose to.

I would like to see what you are referencing. For me it's not obvious because I am too deeply entrenched in feminism by now where simplifications are simply unacceptable. So women need to go searching for those proves, simultaneously dismissing the ones that are being incessantly shoved into our faces. Hot take - it's up to men to make it visible to women if it's in their best interest.

It's because women historically regarded each other as rivals in terms of access to resources via men (because they were not able to access them on their own). Now that they don't directly need a man for that the urge to "throw each other under the bus" and those competitive behaviours are becoming obsolete. To be fair, having grown up in the rivalry mindset it took me many years to start seeing women in a different light. Also, it's not always reciprocal yet. But when instead of taking those at…

An example: I am Russian and there was quite a lot of anti-russian sentiment at the beginning the war. But you know what? It's understandable. You know what I did? I went and volunteered with Ukrainian refugees. Actually, they were appreciative and never once said anything about my nationality. I know I didn't commit or support any atrocities that my fellow countrymen did and I didn't suffer from "demonisation" nearly as much as Ukrainians did from the war. But you can go ahead with your narciss…

Sure, those generalisations can be upsetting, but they don't come out of nowhere - it's unfortunate common experience for majority of women. Blaming women for demonisation is not going to help anyone, but awareness of their experiences and empathising with them definitely would.

"uninhibited" is quite a stretch, there are many women who gave up on finding decent (safe, communicative, willing to learn) sexual partner altogether - so men are doing really well in terms of inhibiting undesirable behaviours 🥴
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/23 11:04 PM
16

Sexually overt behaviours in women were shamed and shunned throughout human history. And that combined perfectly well with abundant sexual abuse/trauma. Liberating encouraging message is required for women to finally be able to explore their sexual agency, gain self-awareness and understand their needs and wants and boundaries because that's not possible with internalised guilt/shame/denial narratives. If anything I noticed that the tone of those messages has been getting more cautious/conservat…
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/23 08:57 PM

Glorifies communism? Ahah. I mean it does glorify Soviet past - because of intrinsic conservative need to have an inspiring narrative about "good ole times". They use WW2 as a major point, too, as in "we are fighting fascism just like them". Ugh(( But you are right overall - American conservatism is a lot more libertarian. Most people don't dig too deep (or able to).

You are right, man (or anyone) can choose how to deal with his own emotions. I think it's important to assess those patterns early on in order to establish compatibility - am saying as someone who failed big time and made my life miserable trying to figure out how to foster some kind of "emotional connection" only to find out that it was never in the books. To be fair, I was clear about my needs and was willing to meet him halfway. But there was never any intention of reciprocating - I guess he …
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/23 06:18 PM

And healthy timely emotional expression is just a necessary aspect of healthy balanced functioning of psyche. It's not either/or. Emotional dysregulation comes from being unable to connect and therefore manage those emotions. It's really weird how contrarian RP approach is with it's attempts to reduce everything to some dick-measuring competition with the purpose of establishing unnecessary hierarchies - instead of trying to find connections.

Hot take: people can manifest different sides in different situations - be aggressive and overt in some and sensitive and vulnerable in others. It's healthy to be able to access the entire range : if it's one-sided - that's the sign of emotional suppression.

/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/23 03:34 PM

I guess it's safe to say (if you gathered from all the answers) that for many people empathy, kind curiosity, sincere interest and willingness to hear out will be more caring and attentive and therefore more desirable thing to do rather than immediately rushing to fix things - first doesn't cancel out the second, of course.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/23 03:26 PM

did it happen to you very often? They must suck at communicating their needs, it's a skill like any other and doesn't come easily. You can help them by showing empathy and asking questions to find out more. The reverse is also true: it sometimes doesn't matter how much one communicates their needs - there has to be someone willing to actually hear, otherwise you might just have good old combo of denial/deflection/dissmissive attitude. So there is that.

There is history of some RP dudes posting as women right here. I mean otherwise you could just be suffering from internalised misogyny, no worries - many women go through "not like other girls" stage, it's quite normal - spoken as someone who has had that maybe for a good decade or more.

I have been the first homosexual experience for two women. Are you dumb? I explained why it's difficult for women to flirt with women compared to men: because women's standards are higher for any person - be it either a man or a woman. A woman doesn't have to make much effort to attract a man - she wouldn't have trouble flirting: that's an easy part, but she will have to go into trouble to do the vetting.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/23 09:59 AM
1

Yes. Good god. Because with men women don't really need to be flirting - you just act somewhat friendly and look somewhat fuckable: for women to flirt with women - you have to show many more sides of your personality on top of that.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/23 09:48 AM
3

I usually say "can I vent?". But I also assume that the person needs to let it out before implying that the person needs a solution because I know people are not dumb and will ask for help resolving it if they need specifically that. Or If I am feeling a strong urge to be a smartass I will say "Omg that's a difficult situation..! And now can I offer my humble piece of wisdom?" So do you need a solution or need to vent? Solution: deal with the emotional side first, offer solution second . And no,…
/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/23 09:37 AM

because all those other factors are irrelevant if the man views you as an object: you don't even need to be able to string words together for flirting - you just need to appear somewhat fuckable
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/23 10:21 PM
9

sometimes people need help coping with the emotion more than the solution - maybe the solution is clear, but the emotion is in the way. you never really vent to anyone and then feel better? talk to a therapist? ust scream into the void? unload to your friends? complain on internet forums? share your grief on reddit subs *wink wink*? sharing difficult emotions with empathetic listener helps humans calm down and function better

This is a weird take. I have had problems with my social life (being a depressed anxious SAHM with a newborn moving to a new country). Ouch...where did you get that from? Narcissists cannot function WITHOUT others, that's the entire premise. They only come alive when admired (or hated) because they are missing sense of self. There are plenty of "communal narcissists" who get validation aka "narcissistic supply" from volunteering/philanthropy/activism etc. - it's a common trope. Even in that case they only relate to others as objects, so no, self-empathy and self-acceptance are absolutely essential for their ability to perceive …

I am here to enlighten you - "narcissistic" trauma is early caretaker rejection trauma and results in lack of self-acceptance. In extreme cases subsequent self-hate and fear of connection are so intense that cannot be identified because of their destructive nature. Therefore they come out as projection - hating others (quite possibly along with envy, bitterness, deflection, denial, blame-shifting, vindictiveness, entitlement etc.) I hope that helped💓
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/23 04:33 PM
2

Hot take: narcissism is actually based on trauma of lack of self-love. So healing and loving yourself is a basis for self-growth, self-care and also ability to relate to others with empathy and consideration (and bonus! - comes with not having to be a bitter jerk about others pursuit of happiness)

A person can be within "normal range" and aware , yet score somewhat high on the Triad. NPD itself is a different beast because it is involves unintended self-delusion and splitting (as in complete inability to recognize your own darker sides and projecting them onto others). Self-awareness is such a threat that defenses will not allow it to happen. Some more aware NPDs get there through so called "collapse" and it's a state full of intense dread and pain.

/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/23 06:08 AM

It's irrelevant. She doesn't pull a rug because she has no awareness that he is interested in the relationship. If he chooses to build rapport and then ask - it's up to him to deal with risks of all that effort being wasted. He should consider asking right away. Look, it's the same for women. She can spend all the effort she wants, but unless she explicitly tells him about wanting a relationship - he has no obligation to play the guessing game and can just accept the effort. Communication 101

It's not misleading. There is no direct financial reward (like there is none in doing dishes for the meal case ) It's an unpaid contribution. And then there is financial one. And partners together can decide what's the best way to manage both of those contributions.

Housewife's labour is unpaid. There is no financial reward. It's a contribution to shared household. Breadwinner is not paying salary to his wife. He does paid labour outside and then contributes financially to the household. There are two different contributions in this case: one unpaid labour and one financial. It's up to partners to decide if it's a fair exchange. Most of the time now women decide prefer to do paid labour outside, contribute to the household financially and share unpaid labou…

/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/23 07:42 PM

Feminists complaint is that household chores are not considered labour. And it is unpaid. So this labour division needs to be taken into consideration when we talk about contributing to household.

If he does - he should really start living on his own, by the sound of it.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/23 07:28 PM

Exactly. It doesn't make it any less of unpaid labour. That's what I said: women can choose to work and contribute financially and then share household chores (aka unpaid labour) with their partner according to the out-of-house workload. Or choose to do the entirety the unpaid labour while husband is breadwinning, but that comes with dependance/possibility of financial insecurity.

I just voiced my approval.

They work more because for a lot of women fulltime household chores and kid-rearing are NOT easier and NOT more rewarding compared to having a career and come with a BIGGER chance of financial insecurity. So they make a choice. If both people are working then they share chores/parenting tasks according to the out-of-house workload. Propaganda? 🥹 I was a SAHM and any job I had was easier than that, but childcare prices were insane so I did it. I wouldn't do it again. I don't really know any woman…

I would say it's blue. I know feminists who made a conscious choice to do housework and raise kids while their husband was breadwinning. Both are work. It could also be akin to covert narcissism traits - when people are only nice (or whatever positive trait) when they are motivated by immediate perceived merit. So that "nice" is actually just a fine layer on top of otherwise shitty and can be blown off any moment. Also, looking at all the way most redpillers here present their arguments - they are vindictive, aggressive, unempathetic, extremely self-centred and entitled. Acting "nice" on top of that is not going to fool anyone.

Ehm.. there is a nuance to either of those statements and that's why TRP is awful. It's missing the nuance.

<image> Dude has shared a lot of wisdom here, btw, generating "interesting conversations" LARPing as "woman who sees and shares truth unlike others". So could it be a hint that the entirety of TRP is self-propagating cycle of bullshit. BTW my personal peeve - it's poorly done not very creative writing. Sigh.

It's the extrapolations, broad generalisations, narcissistic delusions and black-n-white thinking that are applied to some things that actually happen. It's warped and is not very likely to get you anywhere besides more dread and despair.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/23 11:14 PM

TRP just as much ridiculous bullshit and a product of sick mind as a fake story made up by some sad dude to prove TRP points.

Btw if you haven't noticed OP is another sad sad dude LARPing as a woman in order to instill more misery into his TRP brothers.

I mean the entirety of it is just incessant regurgitation of TRP without any nuance, zero. All tge points "men suffer women suck we are doomed how to really succeed as a man". Even for trad/redpilled women it is not possible to internalise all 100%. Also, there is just almost no anecdotes from personal life experiences as a woman: nothing about personal relationships, dating, marriage etc. Like shouldn't she be explaining WHY she thinks this or that way? Dude is not very smart. And is also sick.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/23 08:25 PM

Wat...I had the immediate eek reaction at seeing him which I actually never have. It's really the opposite of attractive for me. I actually dated a gymbro once: more despite his muscles rather than because of them 😅 He was very chill and kind-hearted.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/23 05:33 PM

I think it was a lot less sharing of feelings among people in general - I am thinking about my grandmom,.e.g There was definitely a lot of suffering, but it was just shoved under the carpet. I mean my mom did the same to me in the situation of chronic abuse in my childhood - it was just ignored.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/23 04:53 PM
3

It seems to be an improvement though because there seems to be not much desire for women to give up those freedoms and go back to good ole times.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/23 04:47 PM
4

Any woman wants only 20% top men and if they are with someone who isn't - then she is actually going to use and abuse him. Kek. It makes zero sense to try and argue with this circular logic. I however suspect that these are more paranoid projections of what they think they would do themselves and that makes it all even creepier.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/23 04:36 PM

Hot take, right? Best relationship in my life was with another mom because among other things love was displayed through mutual cooperation and just made it all so much lighter and easier and more joyful.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/23 11:48 AM

Oh no, he hasn't clued in and realized that he had been betabuxxing all along and therefore is happy in his delusion /s. People have been making choices given their own awareness/understanding and some were perfectly happy with them - it's irrelevant because ultimately you make your own choices and then others make their own, but they don't necessarily add up.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/23 11:36 AM

No, because doing so has gotten me nothing: I wasted my time chasing people who were not particularly interested. But I do actively engage and initiate if there is mutual interest and effort. What??...kids were casually abused and molested and exploited and weren't even considered human or registered as one until certain age because over half of them died off in those good ole times of traditional morality. Not to mention most of them received next to zero maternal/paternal but loads of corporal punishment. Maybe read Dickens or something.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/23 06:07 PM

Traditional cultures tend to present as "masculine", almost homoerotic even to westerners because women have severely limited agency and therefore engagement in almost any aspect of life
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/23 04:43 PM
3

I will ask again: how exactly do you picture equality in dating?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/23 04:22 PM

Why lying though? It definitely adds me at least one point of conventional attractiveness otherwise why bother applying makeup? And I would rank myself accordingly for the effort 😂 If a man is trying to pin a girl against that scale - it's up to them to do the calculations to make sure it's fair. Or not to engage at all if they are concerned about lying.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/23 03:33 PM

To be fair I had that, too 😅
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/23 03:26 PM
3

You are deluded thinking that earlier social paradigm was somehow more humane and allowed deep connections for an average joe. It was sheer survival for most.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/23 03:24 PM
1

It's a delusion. Historically it's a very recent occurrence that any significant percentage of women (or men) got a chance to consider their options, exercise their autonomy and voice their own opinions. Before that most of them were merely a subservient function in the family/household.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/23 03:22 PM

My point is: do you have a tendency to visually prefer women with excessive makeup? Because you can choose to not engage - I personally don't (for many reasons).
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/23 03:12 PM

There is probably a correlation of some sort: like "I am 10 and she is 10 and we are a perfect match"
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/23 03:07 PM

You would probably consider her unattractive and pay no attention if she wasn't wearing makeup initially, right?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/23 03:05 PM

Interesting. I actually heard that from FtMs: that testosterone significantly boosts their confidence/mood.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/23 03:02 PM

Women on average are socially expected to make a continuous elaborate effort to look more conventionally attractive. So those tens could really be some of them evaluating their investments into looks? I would def. pat myself on the back with at least a nine if I spent significant amount of money/time on it.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/23 02:57 PM
1

Ah I get it. I think I made it confusing about how early and how directly I voice them. Nah, I am really good at small talk and any other kind of talk and no, I will not out of the blue start reciting my manifesto😅😂😅 In OLD dating context it would be more like when the conversation drifts along those lines I will not try to navigate around them attempting to avoid awkward subject. Also, even little things/ways can provide sufficient information - I don't need full manifesto, either🤪
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/23 02:27 PM
1

That's an interesting take, and somewhat odd. I don't need to voice those opinions in the situations that don't require it. But I definitely do when I engage with the person of interest because it's PARAMOUNT to be able to identify compatibility, no? If I am a feminist and he is redpill - that renders relationship impossible so why would I choose NOT to make things clear from the start to avoid wasting each other's time?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/23 02:01 PM
3

How do you imagine equity/equality in dating? It's NOT a socioeconomic commodity. Humans are not entitled to any relationships, nor they are entitled to any kind of provisions that allow their equal distribution. I had some sad friendless years having moved to a new country - it really sucked! But it was my problem to resolve. Feminism is about empowering women to exercise their agency while giving an option to go beyond traditionally stipulated roles - they can make their choices about how to e…
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/23 01:52 PM

Yes! There is reasoning of "womenawful/wearwdoomed" to ANY given scenario and oftentimes those scenarios and explanations directly contradict each other and also benefit exactly no one. It's fascinating, really, but also kinda tragic.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/23 01:14 PM

I have a feeling lack of self-awareness is at the core of the entire purple pill ordeal. Because if you line it all up it turns out that men just don't want women to act the same way they do because suddenly they are inconvenienced 😅
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/23 12:25 PM

Pfff, I live in NL where women tend to wear very little makeup. I actually don't like it and seldom wear it myself and definitely appreciate natural looks on women. But I assume either would be dismissed by an average tinderdude as unattractive 😅
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/23 12:22 PM
1

I do really have great social skills, I just don't care if men will find my political stance unattractive. In fact I make sure I voice loud and clear early on so that we don't continue bothering each other in case of major disagreement.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/23 12:17 PM
1

Equal to what? If men treat other men in some dehumanising manner does it mean that women are going to be treated equally badly? There are at least a couple posts here every week demanding that women display empathy to men's suffering without offering any empathy in return, of course. How does that align with the notion of "equality"? Capisce?

Women had no agency until recently and only now are discovering what their personal wants/needs/aspirations are. You can only build a proper relationship with someone who has that figured out. But really you just want an object to fit your fantasy.

Omg. This is definitely a winner in narcissism olympics. Omg. Omg. As a mother I am constantly worried about whether I am a good parent, about my kid growing up into this shitty world and about all the nonsense that he will have to deal with. But I guess I should "always look on the brighter side of life" eh
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/23 11:33 AM

As a person who OLDated women and men - women are more attractive on average: as in making effort to appear attractive and willing to communicate in a sensible manner (initially😅) With men you are much more likely to get some verbal shitstorm sooner than later, so expectations are very low.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/23 11:23 AM

Accusing women of hypergamy when men exhibit the exact same behaviour is really bizarre...Like duh...Makes me wonder why: is it that they are oblivious to their own hypergamous aspirations? (*Asking as someone who was never popular and never aspired to because common sense)
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/23 11:14 AM

I was married and have a kid. In retrospect it would have been better for everyone if it didn't happen - if I had the self-awareness I have today I would have stayed single longer to work on my issues and probably remained childfree. I look at women nowadays and they are much more aware and independent and are more careful with relationship decisions than I was ten years ago. And then, obviously, online dating is offering a way of choosing partner that wasn't there before.
